Great experience all around. I called in last minute to see if I could come in before close and they were very accommodating. Both ladies inside were very friendly and I really enjoyed my haircut. This review is not on the location, it's on the particular stylist who did my hair today. I've been going to this location for many many years. Nancy is good and have had others than are decent. Went in today and Estefani cut my hair. I showed her a pic of a long pixie and requested back and bangs to be a little longer. I wear glasses and take them off during a haircut. I was SHOCKED when I saw what she had done. It wasn't even a Pixie, it was a BUTCH. Worst haircut I've ever had EVER. Beware of Estefani. Went in to get layers on my hair. Lady was nice but was VERY disappointed with the haircut. She was listening to music on her headphones during the service. There was not blend and it looked very choppy in the front and the layer looked like a step. She cut my hair very short and I had to pay $65 to get it fixed by another stylist. This is a brand new Great Clips salon that opened in early September 2015. It is located in the middle of a bustling shopping center located on Ross Avenue, between Greenville & Henderson. The staff moved over from the now-closed Mockingbird Commons location. I first discovered Great Clips in the Old Town Dallas Shopping Center because a friend had given me a coupon. I was fortunate from haircut #1 to have Ms Nancy cut my hair. I went back several times as she always provided me with a great cut and never failed to listen to what I wanted. When Nancy moved on to the Great Clips location on Mockingbird & Abrams, I followed suit. Now that she's moved to the newly-opened Great Clips location on Ross Avenue, I can check another GC salon off my bucket list item of visiting every Great Clips salon in the US :)- This new location is bigger than the Old Town location with a wider interior space and bigger front-waiting area When I return in November for my next haircut I plan on walking around the corner afterward to have lunch at Pints & Quarts :) read more

Heard a lot of good things about this place so I decided to give it a shot and take my son to get a haircut instead of driving to the regular spot that is 20 minutes away but it turns out it was a terrible decision after seeing his haircut. Terrible service as well. The woman cutting his hair kept huffing and puffing the entire time. She was probably having a day but my guess is wanted to leave since it was close to closing time so she rushed through it. If you walk around with a jacked up haircut this is the spot for you.
