Her highlights at the root on one side were completely uneven. She attempted to add more bleach and then told my daughter she wouldn't be able to blow dry her hair and sent us away with a towel to dry her sopping wet hair. We got home and blow dried and it looked the same as before. Had to go spend another $178 to get it fixed elsewhere. I did reach out to the owner and let her know, she offered us to come back and would try again but I had already taken her to another salon as we wouldn't have had time to go back. What an expensive ordeal!! Looks like other people have had better luck though. Maybe it was just an off day.

Old hair can be seen on all surfaces and tools weren't clean. One star for semi friendly service. *Edit 2/24/18: This evening I received a homophobic and racist Yelp notification from Michele M. She claims to be daughter of the owners of this establishment (judging from her hair, I believe her). The censored message follows: Subject: Hi marc*** (she used three more letters to turn my name into a slur for a male body part) "Hi Marc C.***(again) that review you made about seaside hair was my father. He is in a nursing home now and at the time was struggling with Parkinson's disease and had a stoke. He no longer cuts hair and my mom took over. You didn't have to write a nasty review trashing out store you ****** ***(verb usage of the most common swear word followed by a homophobic three letter slur). Go **** a ***** **** ***** (here she instructs me to perform a lewd act on a male body part of someone, and manages to make it racist at the same time. She also confuses me with a female dog). Take down your review or I will beat your *** *** (three letter homophobic slur followed by a threat to by pet donkey) into confetti. Maybe you would like a visit from some of my pals...***lord." (three letter homophobic word) Had Michele M. or her mother contacted me in a professional manner, I may have considered altering my review to reflect the current status of the operation. However, after reading the review that I left I realized that I had neglected to mention the dull and rusty disposable razor that was used on my neck. I was so concerned about public safety after my visit here that I contacted the Florida DBPR, the Florida Cosmetology Board and the Florida Department of Health. During my visit, I did notice that the gentleman who was cutting my hair was not well and was frustrated due to that. He and the lady present were friendly, however I still chose to rate this one star as everything else about the visit was horrible and I stand by my review.

She immediately started cutting and then I reminded her I was looking for full service so she stops and washes my hair. Then she starts cutting again. She cut layers and sheared it and left dangling pieces all around of uncut hair. She shagged my hair which is not what I asked for she cut pieces 5 inches to 2 inches all over. She styled and used this vegan product she wants to sign you up for that auto ships and charges your credit card without approval. She tells me Redkin or Joico are not good products and I need to pay for membership for her products. I said I would look into it but I need to read up on it. The customer reviews are horrible for ROM the link she sent me. People complain in bed after using it for awhile their hair fell out. I think I will stick with Redkin and Joico. I called her about the uncut pieces everywhere. She says show pictures and told me not to come back because I didn't buy her products and she will not refund the $60.00 for haircut and shampoo and will not fix it. Very rude. I am retiree on a fixed income and take care of others. I now have to spend more money to fix the horrible cut she gave me. My friend came over to trim up some of it but there is too many. Don't go there not an ethical hairdresser. If she refunded me or fixed it I would not complain but I am left with issues. Find anyplace Hair Cuttery would be better choice. She brags about New York trained she went twice 4 day training and 2 day training never worked in New York but was trained under Redkin but thinks they have bad hair care products. Kind of strange As she says she is down she is trimming bits of dangling hair.

The sew in looks great and she did a wonderful job but it was absolutely not worth the amount of time I had to sit in a chair, and the fact that she wasn't honest with the time was frustrating. She's a sweet girl and I'm sure she's great at other styles but speed isn't her strong suit. Here's another kicker! After 6 gruesome hours she then proceeded to say "You can come back after your trip to get it redone." Me: "What?" Her: "Just to get the weave redone." Me: "Is there something wrong with the hair?" Her: "No I just don't like the way I did it." She's telling me to come back next week to get it taken out and put back in because she didn't do it to her liking :D Unfortunately this experienced was not to my liking and I will not be back.

I just have the bottom cut straight across. Highlights are definitely not what I asked for and when I reached out, she got very defensive and told me my hair was as blonde as it can get. I've been living with this head of hair for a very long time, and I am fully aware of how blonde my hair can get. Definitely not the dull highlights she did for me! It's a shame when your friends and family. See you after getting your hair done and ask you when you're getting your hair done because of the color it's definitely not the color I would ever purposely get! It's very unprofessional to argue or to tell somebody this is what you wanted. It is definitely not what I wanted! She should have tried to figure a way that we could work together to fix it instead just very defensive and arguing back-and-forth with me via text. I paid a lot of money for a full foil and haircut to be treated poorly. Shame on Kaitlyn! As you can see in the pictures, my hair was very bright blonde. Now it's very dull and not complementary at all!
