The staff is nice & will carry on conversation with you if you want. The service itself is not great (which is reflected in the price). If you want a simple cut for kids or men, go right ahead; but even asking for a basic trim here is risky for women.
I've come here twice & will not be back. I only went the second time because I needed a trim SO badly to remove my dead ends & shorten my layers (& it seemed utterly ridiculous to spend $60+ anywhere else for such a simple haircut). She worked at turtle speed; it made me question whether she knew what she's doing. The overall length was good & she started doing the layers. I've never seen anyone cut layers the way she did...ever (& I've had all different kinds of layers my entire life). But I tried to trust her process & just went with it. I wasn't offered a mirror to look at the back. She started drying & "combing" through with her fingers in the process. I leaned my head back a little to try to help but had hair blown in my face (which I eventually pushed aside myself). No hairbrush used or even fully dried. WHY in the world do they send you off with half-wet hair??? Even if it's not "styled" in any way, only blow-dried & looking like crap, it should be actually DRY before you leave the chair. I got home & had to shower/change (I had hair all over my clothes) & rewash my hair. I blow-dried my hair & discovered the weird/crappy job done on the layers. It's longer in the front/sides than the back, which I did not ask for & couldn't tell was the case before I was sent on my way. I'm disappointed & frustrated & just wasted $35-40 (because yes, I still tipped). Mind you, this was the second bad cut I've gotten there, from two separate stylists. Gave them the benefit of the doubt by going a second time, but never again. read more
