And double plus- she is WAY more affordable than other salons in the Clarksville area providing the Brazilian blowout service.

I believe inexperience may have been a factor. I wanted a blended pixie about an inch long. I have two stubborn cowlicks and if not cut right they will stick up. Ended up with very short hair on the sides In about 2 weeks it should be about right. Really like the salon and will go back to someone more experienced in blending and short hair. The stylists are great and atmosphere is very comfortable.

My hair is super fine and finicky and it breaks easily so it's important that not too much gets cut off because it takes forever to grow back. The stylist listened to what I wanted and actually asked questions to verify she understood. On top of that, the conditioning treatment she used is AMAZING. So far, even after a few washes, my fine hair feels so soft and it's not weighed down at all. I will forever only go to Aveda salons from now on.

My daughter came home explaining it to me and cried so much. She said you were ripping through her hair all over. Combing really hard and getting to tangles and tearing through them, she said last time you did not do that. Also when you want to use thinning shears you should ask if that's ok. A few times back we told you we do not like that but I'm sure you just forgot. She just went through a low iron and a lot of hair loss from it and you used thinning shears everywhere. Her ponytail is very thin now. The cut is pretty but the sides need adjustment. Her curtain bangs are not where she asked but it's ok. You are a very good stylist, but the only thing I can imagine was you not feeling well and was in a rush. Or you used new combs and different detangling conditioner. Please do not frown upon us for being upset. We want to return to your salon and you may not want us as your client because you fear we will be upset but I know there is no other person that has ever given my family such beautiful haircuts before. I do not want to lose that over one bad experience." She did not apologize and said we can come back and she would check her work. She said no one told her not to use thinning shears but she never asked and my 20 year old daughter was there. She never asked. Her hair was 60% thinner to the point my daughter was extremely upset. And the sides were choppy on one side and good on other. She made me an appointment for 6 months from the date. We chose not to get anything fixed and just wait the 6 months. We had a text appointment confirmation. Two days before I called to confirm and she said she did not want to do our hair because we make her nervous. That's ok, it was a lot of complaining, we were upset. But why give us an appointment and cancel last minute? So if you like that kind of stuff go see her. Also I mentioned her possibly not feeling well because before this cut she rescheduled on us three times. Note, when I called to reschedule and she thought I was complaining to a manager she said, " I trained him", implying it will go nowhere.

After looking inline and reading your reviews, this establishment appeared to be highly recommended, so drove down from Kentucky to see if they had an opening today, or if I could arrange a consult appointment for another time. Walking into the shop, a lady poked out from behind one of the kiosk. did not greet or welcome, so I asked about a specific service. She gave me a very kirt response, and then ducked back in the kiosk, feeling unwelcome and unwanted, we stepped out of the establishment and as soon as we stepped out, she immediately locked the door. It would have been nice to at least been greeted and communicated to a little bit more pleasantly and suggest options for scheduling an appointment and or a consult, to which I would've greatly appreciated. This is unfortunate.

And I'm not a fan of open concept salons where it can be noisy and you can hear everyone's drama. That being said, everyone is really nice. And Katherine is her own woman doing her own thing, in her own room! Where it's warm and quiet! It's also relaxing, warm colors, and her chair is so comfy. I started seeing Katherine at Hygeian, also in Clarksville. The folks at Hygeian were great, but Katherine is the best of the best, so when she decided to head out on her own, I had to follow! Katherine does AMAZING pedicures. I have the equivalent of troll feet. My nails are just awful. I struggle with crooked toes, crooked nails, and my nails become ingrown very easily. When Katherine cuts my nails, they feel literally perfect. They are neat, clean, no sharp edges, and the pedicure lasts for three or four weeks without me having to touch them. She gets the thick callus off . . . you can tell she actually gets satisfaction from shaving that dead skin off! My feet always feel so smooth and silky after she's done. I also get paraffin after each session. Please realize this is a podosafe pedicure and doesn't use the water baths, which can cause infection. Katherine also does manicures, polish, and many other treatments. She is a true professional, and has tons of certifications! I never thought my feet would feel so good. So NORMAL. Thank you, Katherine! You are AMAZING!

When I walked in everyone was very friendly and the place was nice and clean. I brought my 4 year old daughter and they were super nice to her and talked to her and even though I hadn't set up an appointment to cut her hair, Evyn still happily did it after I asked. Evyn did a great job with my daughter, she was patient and sweet. My daughter was nervous at first, but when she was done with the cut and style my daughter looked up and said "I love it" Katelyn worked on my hair and she was awesome. I brought in a picture of how i hoped my hair would look (with the understanding that everyone's hair is different so it may not be exact) She understood that I was nervous about cutting and coloring my hair because of previous issues I've had at other salons. She showed me how much she was cutting to make sure it was ok and made sure I liked the amount of color she was putting in my hair and after she finished (in a great time-normally my long thick hair takes a few hours+, but she did it in 2) I was very happy with the results! It's exactly how I hoped it would be, both the color and the cut! I would highly recommend going here.
