The only reason I gave one star is because I couldn't leave 0 . i have cried for 3 months after what G did to my hair. i had longer healthy hair. G ruined my fine hair razor cutting . she refused to listen as I sent her text message the first time she cut my hair and told her that not what I wanted. i gave her another chance and i've cried for 3 months refusing to go out with family and friends . my hair has so much breakage I not sure it will ever recover. I had a Salon tell me it could take 2 years to recover . She didn't just cut my hair this way. She did another client's hair exactly like she did mine, and she went home in tears as well on the same day while she carry phone conversations with personal business during cutting our hair, actually phone up to her ear while cutting hair. doing other clients at the same time she clearly does not focus on her work. She's got her mind other areas mostly focused on herself. she gave me a mullet. I've showed my photos of my hair to many people and they are just in disbelief of how anyone could do this to your hair. I wonder maybe if it could've been intentional if she has a license she should know better of course her hair doesn't look like this. please be very aware . I decided to do the TikTok flash card challenge with my niece for her birthday. One of her options was haircut or manicure. She picked haircut. So there I was calling every salon in town trying to get my 9 year old niece in for a haircut on a Saturday morning. EVERYONE turned me away, until I called G Salon. I spoke with G and she was very nice and let me know she was available for me to come right in. My niece wanted an A-line cut. G washed her hair and explained the whole process while she was cutting her hair. G was super nice, very knowledgeable and did an AMAZING job! My niece was super happy with the outcome. I go in and see G to get my hair cut, my hair is super thick and she does an amazing job razor cutting my hair. Never have to show her photos, just tell her a general idea of what I want, she never fails to go above and beyond!! Even with my hair growing out, it looks really good, I don't have to maintain 6 week cuts if I don't want to. She has a great personality and is super easy to talk to as well. G is great. But, I feel as if I've been taken advantage of. Just because you are the only salon in Clarksville that has Kevin Murphy color does not mean you should charge almost twice what it costs in a more populated area. I moved from the DC area to Clarksville. I usually pay $80 for a re-touch and G charged me $140. I was shocked. I called around and I was definitely taken advantage of. I'll be headed to Nashville for my next cut and color - worth the drive to save $60. read more

I would give a zero if possible. I came in here to get a hair cut after my last salon gave me uneven layers. I asked her to cut my hair all one length, no layers, at my collar bone. Not only is my hair 2 inches above my collarr bone, the front is 1-2 inches longer than back and the back is so short I can't even put it in a low pony tail. On top of that, the bottom layer is shorter than all the other top layer. I can't even explain the hack job that is my hair right now. And now I have to wait till it grows out to even fix it. Have been in Clarksville over a year and still can't find a single salon that knows how to do hair properly. Also was told a hair cut was $25 yet was charged $50 and the stylist next to me was so nasty to her customer. This salon is horrid! read more

I also had my eye brows waxed. I really enjoyed my full service and great conversations with the ladies. The salon is very clean and modern. Both ladies make you feel very welcome. Well I would have gave it a negative if it had that option. Not happy one bit for one this is the South where minimum wage is in the single digits. I don't mind paying good money for a good color and cut but not when it's all over your face. I asked how you get the dye off and Josh stated soap and water well no shit but when you pay a lot of money you should not have to walk out looking like that. The price was outrageous 160 for 3 colors and a cut didn't get hairspray or an atta girl. Very disappointed will not go back and will not suggest this place to no one. If I could stop the charge on my debit card I would have. Now I have to wait for this color to grow out and find someone else read more

I've never written a bad review before, but the haircut I received at G Salon was so terrible that I know I need to write one. My stylist was friendly and nice, but she completely destroyed my hair. I walked in wanting three inches trimmed from my very long hair. I asked for long layers, like I do every time. Instead of cutting from the bottom first like I have always seen stylists do, she took the top "layer" of my hair and cut off at least 6 inches. After that, the rest was a complete hack-job. She never used scissors, and instead pulled my hair though a comb-like razor. My left and right sides were uneven by 2-3 inches. I went to another salon to try to salvage my cut, and the stylist there said he'd never seen anything like it in his 25 years of cutting hair. There were uneven layers and pieces all over the place. I have had to cut my hair even shorter just to even it all out. I was the only person there during my entire haircut, and I now see why. Avoid this salon at all costs. read more

I went there to get my hair colored back to its original color as I could not keep up with the cost of highlighting my hair. To my suprise when it was time to check out the bill was $175!!! I have never in my life heard of a color and trim costing $175. When asked for the breakdown of how she got to this she was ride and unwilling to see why I would be upset. She charged me $100 for color plus another $25 due to my hair being long. $25 for a trim that took all of 2 minutes and another $25 because she blowdryed my hair. I asked how she could charge $25 to blow dry it and not ask me first if that was an extra charge ans she said "we assume you want it done". Who wants to pay to have their hair blow dried?!?! Also if the point of blow drying is to allow me to go out and enjoy my day with my new hair then why in the world did you leave my entire forehead covered in hair dye. I got out to the car and my entire forehead all the way around was covered in hair dye. For $175 i would not expect to have to go home and shower again. read more
