I got my haircut from Karina and let me tell you....I LOVE how my haircut came out! I have thick hair so when it gets long it just feels heavy. I told her I wanted layers and she did not disappoint! I still have a little color left of my balayage, but the way she cut and layered my hair made it look like that's how I wanted my hair colored! It was amazing! I have received so many complements! Ruben is a stylist worth coming to this location for!!! I came here to get a quick haircut and I am typically very skeptical about these franchises but I was blown away today. With three people ahead of me, I only waited approximately 10 minutes before sitting for my cut. I get my haircut every 3-4 months, here. I get a quick haircut service, and usually leave between 10-15 minutes. Some of the hairdressers do pay attention to details, while most of them try to create a conversation, but they don't do a good job. Before you were able to get a haircut gift card for $9.99, now it's $11.99. Yeah? $2 difference, better than their $17 adult haircut. It's best if you get a card from them (up to 6 haircut purchases), pay extra attention to the details, and on busier days, use your check-in GreatClips app to check-in with them instead of waiting 15 - 30 minutes during the weekends. read more

Funny that this is the only place after I moved back to California that can actually cut my hair the right way. Long story short, I needed to get my hair trimmed thanks to color damage and having extensions. Showed the stylist what I wanted and was given what I wanted :) and all for under $20. They're also not pushy on selling products which is a definite plus. Only complaint was I still had strands of hair on my face and neck. The stylist Lyndsey did not listen to me and ended up cutting way too much off the front and complete screwed up my hair cut. In. I checked in around 4:45 online and the app said I had a 72 minute wait. At 6:10 while sitting outside the salon, I received the notification that I was next and should be there within 15 minutes. I immediately walked in and was told they're closed. I explained that I have been waiting over an hour and the app just notified me it was time but the employee just apologized and said they are closed. I wasted an hour and a half tonight. Today I brought my 5 year old son for a haircut and had a horrible experience with MARTHA. I have never had any problems when I would bring my son in for a haircut until today. I explained what I wanted, which is the SAME haircut he's been getting. Upon getting his name called, the hair stylist usually looks up the notes on file. Noticed she didn't reiterate what was on there. So I explained to her what I wanted when he sat down. She did repeat it and as she was cutting it, I noticed she was cutting a LOT off the top. So I asked her, "Isn't the top supposed to be a 1?" And she rudely replied with, "Yes, that's what you said and I repeated it before I started!" And I told her that in the past he's never had a 1 on top look like that with whatever guard you're using (which was pretty much bald). She again rudely replied with, "Well we're all different!" My son was crying after we left because all his hair was gone. It was practically bald all over which was far from what usually hair cut is. I could of shaved it all off myself if I knew she was going to cut it like she did. Please DON'T get your hair done by MARTHA. The worst haircut in 12 yrs. I asked the stylist to take 1 1/2" off my girls long hair w/a tiny bit of layers. Clean up what she has. She showed me her definition of 1 1/2". I agreed. During the cut, 3 stylists went to my daughter & measured her hair where cuts were made. One or two made addt'l cuts. In between, the original stylist made more cuts. After the final "helper" left, I asked her to tell me honestly how much had been cut, while more is being cut from my daughters hair. She said, "1 1/2 inches." This review is for the short, blond-ish, Jamie. Not the tall, red-head, Jamie. I have been bringing my son to great clips for 7 years now. As a matter of fact, he had his first hair cut here. Today was the first and last (last because I will never come here again) terrible experience I've had at Great Clips. This afternoon I brought my son in to get his side-burns trimmed. When Jamie was done, my son came to me with watery eyes. Jamie quickly told me something along the lines of 'the loud noise of the clippers scared him.' Knowing my son doesn't love hair cuts, I went ahead to pay her and left. Once we got to the car my son turned his head and I then saw 3 small cuts on his right ear. I quickly called Great Clips and politely told Jamie what she had done, along with suggesting that she should tell the parents when her inexperienced hand cuts a child. Her response was, "Well I don't see how that can even happen because I have a cover on my clippers." This rude woman assumed I was lying. I was and still am appauled. She put her manager, Christine, on the telephone who repeated, "uh huh, oooook, uh huh, oooook." I assume she is incapable of any proper english. Not once was I given an apology. This is just a short version of what happened. It is unfortunate that this kind of unprofessional behavior represents Great Clips. They obviously have low standards and Corporate will definitely be made aware of this. read more

I like that other place and it has its merits (like coloring that Great Clips can't do). I but here Jennifer does a great job for way less than what I was paying at the other salon. I usually go to get my hair trimmed and never had any issues so I took my husband to get his hair cut since we were both running errands and we can get what we need done together. He was hesitant he wasn't confident that the stylist would know how to cut I said I've never had an issue and there was lots of men getting their hair cut today. I was helped first and finished first. Then waiting for him I saw his face and his horrible haircut. I was in shock how the hair stylist thought this was a good job to still want to charge him and we were so embarrassed to even dispute it while everyone was in close range. So I felt so horrible I paid... I even tipped again I was too embarrassed to go off on this stylist. I would never come back or have him come back. We had to go to another place where an experienced barber can fix his hair he only charges 14. If you want a jagged choppy haircut this is the place for you. read more

I've been coming to this location for over 2 years, my son is now 4. I like it here because they save ur info in the system, and when you come back, they confirm what they did the time before. They have a great online check-in system, and so it saves ur spot, even when ur at home. Normally, all goes smoothly. I walk in, they ask my name and we sit down. NOT TODAY!! When we walked in, they were busy, they DID NOT ask to check me in, and my son proceeded to the restroom like he always does. We sat to play with Legos, as always, and I noticed that they had called someone elses name. I politely informed her thay we were here and she coldly told me thay I needed to check in first. Wait, isn't that their job?? So we went over my son's haircut, and she said okay. Went they were done, my son had a fairly decent looking cut, from the back. The front looked like the had a bowl cut. He naturally has a widows peak. I told her that something was off. She looked at me like she had NO idea what I was talking about. She tried to fix it with MY suggestion, yet still did not look okay. She even had to ask another stylist for assistance. She asked if I had requested the front to be defined. I said absolutely NOT! The other stylist went and chopped it a lil, so it didn't look like a bowl cut. We paid. I still gave her a $3 tip, the total was $6 for the cut with Military discount. I said Thank You, and she said uh-huh and walked away from the front counter. Mind you, I have worked in Customer Service for over 15 years, and that was unacceptable!! I couldn't understand why she was upset with ME! I am the customer. I wasn't happy. Sorry she took it personally, but it was NOT what I asked for OR what we were used to! I walked out upset. Immediately walked back in and asked her name. She said EVA, without looking up at me & with the snottiest attitude ever. That's when I decided to write this review. I haven't decided if we will be going back. I don't know how a company who does services for clients can hire someone like that. If I go back, it's because it's close to my home, but I'll be sure to stay away from her scissors & attitude!! If you go here, DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR CUT BY EVA!! I have come here well over 20 times. My sons and husbands have gotten their hair cut here, but I never have. The first few times were good, so we bout 3 prepaid cards. BIG MISTAKE. It is so hit and miss here! We used to see only the sisters (Jamie is one of them, the name of the other escapes me...maybe jennifer?) b/c everyone else sucked. But it is a drag trying to get them b/c they are busy. And recently they started not to do such a good job. Last time my son had all kids of weird ragged pieces, I mean is fading that hard??? The customer service is not very good here (except for the sisters). I feel like the other stylists don't even want to be there and seem so bored and uninterested all the time. And the stylists CAN NOT THINK FOR THEMSELVES!!! We have had several customer service related issues and they have never, ever helped us. They always make us "come back and talk to a manager." The one manager we dealt with (Sylvia I think) was cool and fixed the problem, but even then it took over a month to even talk to her. Once our prepaid cards are all used up we are done here. I am not wasting my money, but I have really low expectations for the haircuts that we get here.They usually are not what I ask for. read more

I have been to this location 4 times because my first visit was good. The second was disastrous. The third was just ok. The fourth was another disaster. After my fourth visit I gave myself a buzz cut because I looked as if I had a bowl cut and was supposed to be a fade. They seem to do well on men's cuts but I would not recommend that any woman get her hair cut at this establishment.
