I went to the one in Cabot. I told the stylist I wanted something modern and easy to fix, as well as appropriate for my age (57). I also wanted a neat little short, rectangle patch of hair cut at the back, bottom of my neck, for when I wore a ponytail at work. She showed me a a few pictures and a picked a really nice cut - saying, I wanted that exact cut. Think, classic Jennifer Anniston with chunky layers at the back, starting at the base of the crown. It looked ended up looking nothing like the picture. It looked like a helmet. I had to ask her to layer it. Instead, she thinned my already-thin hair! It was choppy and looked more rocker-person than classy lady. It was uneven and the little patch at the back was crooked and the length within the patch was uneven and had a couple of bald places!!! I took my daughter in to get a haircut and the lady sat her down and asked where she wanted it cut to. She pointed where she wanted it and the lady moved the comb down. She tried to push the comb down more but she still cut it 2 inches shorter than she wanted it. She just went for it, didn't even wet it. After evening it out, it got to about 3 inches shorter than she wanted. Not pleased. Vibe of the place was good though. Think it was just the wrong person. read more

My two daughters went in great clips today for a trim. The girl that cut her hair was wanting to leave and in a hurry. She finished one in less than two minutes, uneven and had put a layer in the back of her hair. My other daughter had long hair she just wanted a trim. She cut three inches off of only one side. Her name was mckayla. Thankfully Seth and the other lady working was able to fix their hair evenly. read more

I took my granddaughter here to get her hair cut. She wanted an undercut haircut. That's the picture with the older girl. The other pictures are my granddaughter. Definitely not what is pictured! I know that you never get exactly what is pictured, I used to be a cosmetologist (not able due to severe arthritis The girls name is Kristal, stay away from her. Before going here to get my hair cut, my gut was telling me "hell no, don't get your hair cut here. Run! Run now! Don't look back" but my boyfriend reminded me that they have all been to school and are still licensed professionals. "Just bc they work at a corporation like Great Clips doesn't mean they suck at what they do for a living. They are still hair artists." He said! Well, my boyfriend was wrong. Very, very wrong! My neighbors blind cat could've done a better job. Now I have to live with a horrifying bowl cut (that looks like a little boys yearbook picture from 1997) until it grows out. I honestly wonder if this girl has ever cut hair before or did she just escape a mental institution and somehow sneak inside of Great Clips unnoticed and start cutting random peoples hair? She just started shaving and cutting. She didn't even part my hair to make sure both sides were even. She just started doing weird shit. And now I have an uneven bowl cut that covers the entire circumference of my head. Like I said, she was doing weird shit. The fact that she and the 4 other stylists that were there let me walk out in public, in broad daylight looking like some kind of meth addict psychopath, seriously makes me question humanity. Here's a tip. If you don't know how to do the cut then don't do the cut! Trust me! Your client would thank you in the long run! Anyways, I wouldn't go here if I were you. Go with your gut and run! Run as fast as you can! Don't look back. As for me, I'll be locked in my bedroom until it grows out enough to have it fixed. I don't think society is ready for this. I've gone back to this Great Clips several times since looking for one operator to come back to. It seems every time I find an operator I like she/he isn't there the next time I visit or within a time or two they're gone. Well, I've found Kristal and I'm hoping she'll be there for a while but as she's cutting hair while she gets a Marketing degree at UALR I'm sure she won't be there long either . . . . but until then I'll look for her, she gives a very good cut. Probably won't be back. Not enough staff present to support amount of customers. Six of us sitting around waiting for a haircut while two people are getting their hair cut. Got my haircut here before and liked it but not worth sitting around for an hour. Did not get my haircut here today and removed my name from their list. I am not refusing to get my haircut at Great Clips as I think they do a good job. Just will not ever return to this specific location again and will ensure I inform all I know about the substandard service here. read more

This place is horrible! The stylists clearly can't handle anymore than children's haircuts and simple trimming. I went in with hair below my shoulders and asked for it to be brought up closer to collar length. The stylist cut it short! I mean like a foot of hair, gone!
