If you choose to go here you MUST specifically ask NOT to get your hair cut by one of their hairdressers-in-training. My last haircut was SHOCKING- I have no idea why they would allow someone so untrained to actually cut their clients' hair. The staff is mostly very good, great colorists and stylists, I had been there before. So it was so bizarre that the owner would even allow such a bad hairstylists to take on a client. I asked for about 3 inches off, I got 5 taken off, she had finished the cut and my right and left sides were 2 different lengths! And she did not know how to do long layers. I was asking for the most BASIC hair cut: a trim for straight hair with some regular layers. Not only was the cut a disaster but she hurt my head 3 different times, one of which she whacked me in the eyebrow with a round metal brush.
Luckily - one of the actually TRAINED stylists jumped in at the end to save the day. She evened out my hair and gave me proper layers. But I left with much shorter hair than I asked for and a sore head. And to be honest I felt like the owner (or whoever is allowing untrained stylists to work there) didn't respect me as a client, or any client who maybe wasn't a regular. Because why would you allow an exceptionally bad/ young /new stylist to cut a client's hair when she did not have the capability to do the simplest kind of haircut for the easiest hair type.
Moral of the story- some really great stylists work here but you HAVE to specify that you require a TRAINED, LEGITIMATE hairstylist. read more
