When it was time to wash out the color, she yelled from the other side of the salon that she was ready for me. I should have left then - but I didn't and she butchered my hair so badly that I tear up every time I look in the mirror. Cut off about 4 inches when I said I just wanted 2 inches, and cut uneven layers in my very thin hair. The root touch up looks like someone dumped brown paint on the top of my head - not blended in, color is too dark. Unless you get a personal recommendation for a particular stylist, I'd be wary. Now I have to try to find someplace else where I can go to get it fixed.

I was quite shocked that this small salon had such a quality person in massage. Chris did some occupational stretches with me during the massage which really helped relieve tension I was storing. The hour and half massage went by way too fast!!! I love deep tissue massage as I am quite muscular and I have to say he was right on the mark with his firm to medium pressure. She is all over the place with her prices ! I agreed to pay that but didn't know I was going to get eleven foils and bleach only in my hair. It was a disaster from minute I got there in May 2017! Other lady was sitting there with foils in her hair so she hurriedly started doing my hair which took her 12 minutes to do. (Timed it). Then as I sat there for forty minutes (timed it) as she was doing other ladies hair I counted the foils in my hair , which was eleven foils . As I watched her hurriedly finishing up on other customers hair she was dropping foils and combs so I was feeling like my foils had been on for too long. Cuz she was in a major hurry to finish ladies hair! It is a very small cramped salon so you observe everything . Then after forty minutes later she got me over to sink and started washing my hair and I asked her at that time how much would it be if I left with it wet and she said $95. I said I don't feel like I got good service and can we negotiate price and she said no way we agreed on $95. I said I am not paying that and she said she would call the cops on me.!! When I got up with my hair wet to go sit in another chair her co worker got In the middle of it (very unprofessional ). They both ganged up on me and kept stating u agreed to pay $95. I again stated you only did eleven foils, sloppy job and probably the foils have been on too long! She stated for me to go count the foils cuz she said she did forty foils, but senseless to do cuz she had just taken out other woman's foils. And there is no way she could of done forty foils In that short of a time and it was only on top of head and only one foil in back of head. So I paid $95 and left . As I was driving off In parking lot at Solar Salon on Chenal, her and co worker are in front of the salon smoking cigs and laughing about something. (Not hard to figure out what). When I got home I dried my hair and had worst black roots and my hair looked over processed . I sent Blue Zulpo a pic of my roots and stated hair overprocessed and still black roots but looks worst than before I went in there, and I said I want my money back or redo and she stated quit harassing her and she wouldn't redo it! Next day I went to another hairdresser to have her look at my hair and she told me over processed hair and black roots. So I was again charged ! Worst service ever! All about the money with Blue Zulpo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I strongly recommend to not go there!!!!!!

She booked me for 1 hour and a half. I get there, Caity (the stylist) looked at my hair and said there is no way I can do what you want. I don't have enough time. I was livid. I asked to speak to the manager and she argued with me and pretty much told me that it was MY job to tell her how long to put in the system for my hair.. which I told her exactly what I wanted and how long my hair was. I was so nervous about find someone to do my platinum white hair. I went by reviews on Yelp and…read morechoose to come here. Alli did not disappoint! My hair came out perfect! She listened to everything I said. I've been this color for years, so I already know what works and what doesn't. Most stylists don't care. They just want to finish fast. Alli took her time and gave me this flawless custom color. She has great energy too! Oftentimes, I'll feel zapped after getting my hair done. Not here! I actually felt energized and excited! Another thing that helped was that she was excited to do my hair. She didn't come at it with a defeated "maybe I can do it" attitude. That tells me that she's a real artist who loves her work. It shows! The salon has a private parking lot, so you don't have to worry about street parking. Half of it is shaded by beautiful trees too. I'm thrilled with my results and already scheduled my next appointment.
