I wasn't sure when I'd be free due to my girlfriend needed to be seen at Kaiser and she suggested since I'm waiting to take my chances with their waiting list availability and tried for 4:30 ish. But then she came out and was told her prescriptions would take 20 to 30 minutes. I called back to say her appointment was taking longer than expected, the gal on the phone was very understanding and suggested to schedule for today Saturday around 11am. I arrived this morning earlier than expected but the gal at the front desk said I'm next. Fabulous! I was then seated at Homa's station. She's very nice and listened to my concerns about not wanting the type of cut that seems popular these days with the shaved close-to-the-bone sides and I'm just not into looking like the masses and told her I trusted her suggestion. Well, I'm happy to say I'll be going back as a regular customer! Homa is a treasure, thank you so much! My girlfriend who usually seems disappointed at the cuts I've received from the different gals at Great Clips was quite pleased. I'm not talking down at Great Clips but too often a different person with minimal notes from prior cuts asking me which number for the clipper size which I never know, they never seem to educate me on the differences, and then go to scissors but each time its a different cut no matter what. So, i'm through with that way of haircut.

Melissa is truly one of a kind! She has been cutting my husband's hair for over 10 years and has been cutting my children's hair since they were little. At this point, she is so much more than just someone who cuts our hair. She has become someone our family genuinely appreciates and looks forward to seeing! Melissa is one of the kindest, sweetest, most personable people you will ever meet. She is always polite, welcoming, and friendly, and I have never seen anything but genuine kindness from her. She takes the time to talk to my kids about their day, what they're interested in, and the things they love. That might seem like a small thing, but it means so much when someone makes your children feel comfortable, heard, and important. I even joke that Melissa is my husband's therapist because he feels so comfortable with her that he can sit in her chair, relax, and talk about whatever is on his mind! That says so much about the kind of person she is. She makes people feel at ease, and that kind of connection is rare. After more than 10 years, Melissa has earned our trust, our loyalty, and our appreciation. I read reviews for almost everywhere I go. I have never left one but I thought this would be a great time to start. I have used Great Clips for a long time and recently moved to the other side of Brentwood and was happy to find one so close. This is the third time I went to this location. The first two times were a great experience but this time not so much. I used the online check in and it said the wait was 9 min. I came right over and there was my name number 2 on the list. People walked in the door and one of the girls put them in the computer after my name (number 4 and 5 and then took them first. I sat there for 25 min and still they did not see any of us on the list. She then told me that two people were in front of me. One came in after I did. So I would have had to wait (about 45 min) for a haircut. What a waste of time. Ill go back to the other Great Clips in Brentwood, read more

I have one of the hardest hair types to cut--very coarse, thick, wavy/curly hair--and my beard is the same way. Because of the thickness, blending usually takes two to three times longer than the average person. Adrianna took her time, didn't rush a single step, and made sure everything was blended perfectly. The attention to detail was next level. This is also the first haircut I've ever gotten that my wife immediately noticed--and not only noticed, but complimented three or four different times in the same day. That alone says a lot. Unfortunately for my barber of the last six years... he's fired. Adrianna's hired. If you want real quality and someone who genuinely cares about the result, she's the one.

I came in to get my hair done and I left with hair I did not want, as well as damaged hair. I made the mistake of paying her but I thought since she was always kind to me, I could go to her about the issue later. I was wrong. She said the only solution is she can put toner but after I found damages in my hair, I just wanted a refund. (Where she bleached to make highlights, the strands are ripped from damages). She then accuses me of cutting my own hair just for a refund because they use the "best" products so it's not possible for my hair to be damaged. I sent her proof, pictures from a video I took while I was still in the parking lot with the day and time. (You can also see the dumpster behind me, that is by the salon). Not to mention you can see the bottom was cut professionally because it's even and not choppy, just shorter. The high light pieces are also ripped and not cut.. After I sent her the proof she never responded. I went to talk to the owner and she was professional but can't do much since they make their own money. I'm glad the owner also saw my hair and agreed it wasn't cut. I even called Ines while I was with the owner and it went straight to voicemail. I still haven't heard from her since I sent her the proof. Ines is not professional, she will blame you for her mistakes instead of taking accountability. I'm not just disappointed on how she did my hair but I'm disappointed at her.
