I came in last minute and booked an appointment through the website, and it was such a great experience! The lady was incredibly patient with my son and even gave him two lollipops to keep him happy and occupied. Everyone was so polite and welcoming, and the atmosphere was very clean. I couldn't be happier--highly recommend! read more

Great Clips - Kids haircut - Hair Salons Near Me - Antioch, California

Tried to walk in , but staff was unpleasant . Contact made with employee and never great or asked if I needed assistance . Then when she finally came to front counter and I asked about a service , she stated that this was a clipper cut only establishment . And walked off . It was so very off putting and awkward . To the point another customer said well hopefully you don't have anymore questions . To lighten the moment read more

Great customer service! They did an amazing job on my partner's hair, and he always comes back. The vibe is friendly, welcoming, and family-oriented. Definitely worth coming here for a haircut or any other hair service! read more

I've gone to Great Clips only because they're cheap and my only haircut needs is a trim. If you want to style your hair, don't go here. I feel some of their hairstylists are not that good and it's hit or miss whoever you get. Nice people though. But won't go for styling needs. read more

Great Clips has a great staff and great discount deals for seniors! It is always appreciated when business like Great Clips help seniors with its generous promotions! As a senior and a disable veteran Great Chips is one of my go to place read more

love their senior discount. they always give me a good haircut. great discount allows me to give a bigger tip. a win-win all around!

Just because someone has a license to cut hair, doesn't mean they have any skill, abilities to do the job. What a complete failure, go with your gut and choose the person you're comfortable with. If they look like they have no confidence, your gut might be right. read more

Got a good haircut. Friendly people. Clean work area. Easy to find and close to home. read more

Great service. The ladies do great cutting my hair! Fast, efficient, and neat. They listen to everything you say when they cut your hair.

I had some time to kill and was way past due for a trim. I do my bangs ok but the back really needed help. First, I called and there was no wait. I headed over and was seated right away. The cut was exactly what I wanted- I hate when too much is taken off. She also cleaned up my bangs. The conversation was easy and everyone was nice! read more

I have been going there for se years. Yesterday I got the worse haircut I have ever had. Fist he cut my hair dry so I had hair getting all over my face and in my eyes. Then I'm told him what I wanted cut, I said to take nothing off the length, he cut the lengt. The part I wanted cut he did not even cut right, I wanted my layers to lay nicely and they don't. read more

Unfortunately there is some unprofessional hair cutting people work there. It's getting worse every time I go there.

The experience we had today for my son's very first haircut was amazing. All the staff were very kind and welcoming and the check in was easy and faster than we expected. The hairdresser, Bianca, was so patient and kind and she did such a wonderful job despite my one year old moving around and crying. We definitely will be coming back ! read more

Love this place! Much better than the Antioch location which I've had to move from... you can check my review for that one. The experts here are indeed experts and have worked wonders for me and my family. The only downside to this location is the busy wait times mainly during the weekends, but that's understandable. Staff here are really kind and welcoming. We now either go here or if it's busy, we go to Winnie Cuts right across the street from this location. read more

Update 5/8/18....another great experience with Desiree. She cut my sons hair today for the first time and he loved it ! Definitely ask for Desiree when you are looking for great service and a nice haircut. I'll continue to see Desiree until she probably quits or retires which is hopefully never! read more

The staff was friendly and the service was right on time for our place in line. I appreciate the ease of putting our name on the wait list online so we don't have to be there to do so. The haircut went well and was quick. I recommend this place for a quick decent haircut. If you're looking for a new style this may not be the place since they specialize is common haircuts. read more

Usually go to a different spot for my son's haircut but since they were closed on this particular day, decided to try Great Clips since my mom goes here for her haircut. I cannot remember the stylists name (second station on the left), but she did a great job on my son. Will definitely be coming back. read more

Thank you Melissa and I love my new hair cut. I enjoy the fact that I can wash and go.

Friendly ambience and service was so great Everything is smooth if you make the check in on line and you know how long you going to wait. The keep a file and when do you return they know exactly the way you like your haircut Today the hairstylist was Sandra. I really recommend her. Good job!! read more

Great Clips - Good haircut - Hair Salons Near Me - Antioch, California

Came here a for a long time, but have been noticing the employees slipping here on the little things in a haircut for a while now. I could let it go before since the ladies here were so nice and the customer service made up for it. But when I call you to make sure your open and tell you I am driving across town to make there before you close to only get there and be turned away in front of everybody is embarrassing and unacceptable. Going somewhere else for a while. Do your selves a favor and DONT tell someone your open when you are going turn them away when they there. And most importantly if you tell someone yes get here before five and we'll get you in, ask for there name and make sure the team knows you have one more customer instead of having convenient memory loss when the person shows up. read more

Horrible service. I had waited over 30 mins for a haircut and when my turn came up they told me they can't cut my hair because the stylist had to go home . Why did they have me wait 30mins to tell me that ? They act like the customers time is not worth nothing come on it's 2021. Will never give them my business again. They need how to learn some business manners. read more

Great service, there is a bit of a wait because they take the COVID precautions really seriously, however if you book online you can time it so you don't wait outside too long. Best times are during the week. Been here 3 times and each time they have done a good job, my wife approved so I am happy read more

The entire staff is very welcoming, unlike the other Oakley location which is closer to me. When you walk in, everyone greets you with a smile in their voice. Today I brought my mother in law in for a trim. She's visiting from out of state and has a language barrier. Shes also a bit hard of hearing, so I was nervous due to past experiences just in general out in public. Sandy was so very sweet, kind, and patient. She even chased us down to ensure we received our coupon after we'd already left. Sandy is a shining example of human kindness, especially towards our senior citizens. Thanks so much!! read more

For about 10 years my boyfriend has been going to this location and Sandy has been cutting his hair for the last few years. She does a great job. The last time he went he had a different stylist and he wasn't happy with the way she cut his hair. The owner went above and beyond to make it up to him. He said that he wasn't looking forward to having to find another hair place and he's happy he doesn't have to now read more

If I could give NO stars I would. Stopped by to see how long the wait was. Could be seen right away, great! But I had food to deliver so I would be right back. Was asked to put my name on a list on line. I said i would be right back. Came back, now the wait time was longer, ok (expected that) how long? Was asked again well, go on line follow these instructions.....wait really? Can't take my name and I'll wait what ever the time is ??? Not that can't get on line or don't know how. It's i am there, can't wright my name on the piece of paper so I can happily wait my turn?? Never go there again!! Business is business I was physically there with my money. read more

Absolutely devastated with how the hairstylist chopped all of my hair off. She cut off my hair up to my ears when I told her to take off an inch. It looks terrible now and I am pissed. HEED MY ADVICE AND NEVER GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE ALL YOUR HAIR. I would give 0 stars if I could. In conclusion, the hairdressers here will do what they want to do -- not what you tell them to. read more

My little brother got his haircut here yesterday. He is the least picky person in the world about haircuts but even he came home and said he needed some serious help to fix this. It's wildly uneven on the top and the two sides look like they were cut by different stylists. There's one particular stylist who I want to call out to STAY AWAY from, but won't in fear of having my review flagged... read more

No words can describe HORRIBLE!!! Took daughter in for a simple side bang trim & they couldn't do it right. I regret for not taking a picture of the bang. Beyond bad! Even ugly would say, "DANG! That's fugly". Any ladies out there reading this review, DO NOT GO HERE! They are better off working on the seniors hair, not the young ones. read more

I am sitting outside the Panera a couple of doors down and I'm wondering if it would be weird if I brought Ashley a cookie. No, seriously, this girl is my new hero. I got my haircut (was supposed to be a trim but was indeed a cut) over at the other Great Clips on Balfour on Thursday. HOLY SMOKES, I will NEVER make that mistake again. The long and short of it.. was my hair. I told the girl I wanted to keep the length and basically ended up with a mullet. I wore a hat all weekend. This girl was seriously the worst thing to happen to hair, ever. But! This review is not about her. This review is about my new hero Ashley and how she defied all odds and made me pretty (err.. feel pretty) again! She took her time, explained what she was doing, where the other "stylist" went wrong, and how she could fix it. She went small step by small step, always making sure it was what I wanted. She didn't even complain when my hair turned her hands red and that is very commendable in itself. I really appreciate all the time she took with me and all the effort she made to make me presentable for the outside world again. I will definitely be back! And I'll probably make my husband get his hair cut here, too! read more

So I love my Barber in Concord but it just became too far of a drive and too difficult. I also wanted to save a little bit of cash. Danielle at great clips did a phenomenal job not just with my cut but also with encouraging me that the haircut will be great. I was a little nervous from reading some of the other reviews and I haven't been to a chain haircut supplier in quite some time. Danielle changed my perspective on great clips. read more

Feeling pissed! This is the third time I've been to this location and made to wait after everyone. First two times I checked in online, yet they helped others first when I got here. Assuming it was policy, and no point to checking in, I walked in yesterday 7/6/17 and checked in. Told two people checked in online before me but it didn't matter because I was there first. Then when it's my turn I never got her name, some black girl, one of the younger ones there just spent the whole time cleaning until the people who checked in online showed up, then she without acknowledging me at all grabbed, them, checked them in and took them. Feeling discriminated against and pissed about it. All I can say is when I ride in, like these last three times I'm thrown on the back burner and made to wait. Not Kettering if I checked in online or not. The two times I've come here with the kids, in the minivan I don't get this treatment. Fuck this location, and whatever issue it is they have. I'm driving to the Oakley location! read more

Such a high turn over of stylists here. Went here every three weeks for years. The owner Alice is so nasty though, she can't keep any staff. None of the original stylists are there except the one cooky lady Barbara, who may not even know she's at work when she's there. I've taken my business elsewhere. Alice, you're running your business into the ground. read more

Man this was the final straw. I never win when getting a hair cut here. I'm a 24yr old with an 8yr old haircut. I went in for a regular trim. My bangs were as long as my face and all I wanted was a TRIM, an inch cut all around. Now my bangs are forehead length, I can't even tuck them behind my ears. I can't even wear my hair up without looking like an adolescent. read more
