The owner's dishonesty cost me almost 7 weeks without a truck. Steer clear…read more I brought my truck here to have a complete RevMax transmission kit installed because they told me that they could do the job and were familiar with the transmission on my truck (first lie) I was quoted around 4 days and a thousand dollars and when I called, the owner told me that they would take care of everything so I could get my warrantee from the manufacturer, this includes checking line pressures, clutch values, and some break in miles after re flashing the computer. After two weeks I was told that it was ready, and paid my bill of $1690. When I asked them about all of the pressures etc they hemmed and hawed and told me that a dealer needed to do that because they can't but everything is fine. They literally left me in the parking lot with a very NOT okay transmission. I brought it to the dealer who found fault codes and numbers that were way wrong. (Second lie, it was NOT fine, they didn't take care of any warranted stuff I specifically asked about. 3rd lie, they didn't even have the tools to check the pressures, let alone reflash the computer like they said they had) So, I brought the truck back and for the next 4.5 weeks I called and asked about it and kept getting stories about how nobody could figure it out. Finally they had another shop reflash the computer (which they said they already did, but did not) and the transmission started making pressures that made sense but still were far from right. So, I picked up my truck and brought it to a friend who is a mechanic. He had all the correct scan tools to work on the truck, and him and I were able to get the transmission running correctly after a long day's work. So, I was lied to about them being able to do the job, over charged, lied to that it was done right, lied to about what had been done, and in the end I had to call in a favor and fix it myself because they couldn't figure it out. I just hope that during the whole process they didn't seriously damage any hard parts in the transmission. I had a really terrible experience here.

I brought in a restored vintage muscle car to install new brake lines, bleed the brakes, change the…read morerear springs, align the front end, install a modified throttle cable and replace my existing aftermarket under dash gauges with an identical set of new gauges to complete a full drive line, suspension and braking system upgrade I had installed. I furnished all the needed parts and when a brand new rear brake caliper was found to be leaking, I furnished not only a new caliper but also a new proportioning valve and master cylinder to be sure there were no further parts related issues. 2 months went by and the car was still not finished. The required work was no more than a couple days labor for a skilled mechanic. I had lost my shop space and was relying on then to finish the last few details. I had to come into the shop and show the mechanics how the brake lines were to be installed and routed even though they proclaim to be experienced "hot rod" mechanics Once the brakes, throttle cable and front end alignment were done, I threw in the towel and withdrew the car as no work had been done in over 2 weeks. Their mechanic put the air cleaner back on the car and I drove it home. They neglected to latch the hood fully and the hood flew open at 55 MPH on US 20 Bypass. I was able to brake quickly as the hood started to rise and had the car slowed sufficiently that the hood held against the stops and no damage occurred. I was able to look out through the gap between the hood and cowl and get the car off the road. I would never go back to this shop again.
