I want to thank the crew at Grease Monkey Idaho falls!!! 2100 Channing Way...For helping me with a new used car I recently bought, that was in need of major repairs..I heard noise on this vehicle the next day after I had purchased it.. Rear end noise(i thought it was the wore out tires and the 22 inch rims that are not suppose to be on this 07 Chevy avalanche) ..changed them to 20's with new tires. Flywheel noise and rattling lifters oil was dirty..Took it back to the lot where I bought it seller told me to get the oil changed.. So i took it to Grease Monkey.. Got the thing on the lift. (Josh the mgr.) their let me know that my rear end had lots of metal shavings and recommended changing it..so i did that and it still made noise so i brought it back to Grease Monkey for another look..Mechanic named Steve did a safety inspection on it at my request(something i should have done before i bought it..(lesson learned!!!) and I was shocked to find out that the rear end was shot and the flywheel cover was gone and had been leaking for some time..Also Les Schwab Rexburg over looked a blown air bag shock bad rotors and brakes (they put the new tires and wheels on this truck and did not see this crucial safety issue and when i asked Schwab how they missed that the man i spoke to was rude like it was my fault after i spent About $5,000 with them between my husbands truck and mine..So i had Grease Monkey's Certified Mechanic (STEVE) do all the repair's it needed so it would be a safe vehicle.(I have three kids that ride in this truck and depend on me to keep them safe) Steve at Grease Monkey did a fantastic job!!! THANK YOU!! Grease Monkey!!! No more noise and I feel very confident about the vehicle now...FYI Grease Monkey does free safety inspections!!! read more

By far best service, quality, professionalism I've ever experienced! I decided to get my oil changed at a different place.. I took it to an actual dealership as I was told it would be cheaper. When all was said and done it was cheaper by approximately 2.50$ - However what I got was sub par customer service, lack of attention to detail, no cleaning and I had to tighten back up all my caps on my engine.. They forgot they said! To them I was dollar signs - To Grease Monkey I was an actual valued customer. Needless to say I immediately took my business back to Grease Monkey... My van lost most of the oil -- turned out to be a puncture in the oil return hose. I needed to drive back home to Colorado the next day and the part could not be found in Idaho Falls. The mechanics stayed past closing and helped figure out a custom fix with a different hose that got me back home (along with a recommendation on contacting the dealer for the real part for safer long term fix). They were very thorough and went out of their way to help a traveler who otherwise might have been stranded for a couple of weeks. Everyone there was friendly and professional. read more

Chris took great care of me; he was patient and happy as he explained in detail what parts needed attention and where to start without making me feel like a car-noob. There was no pressure (which helps my nerves) and he helped create a game plan so I could give my car the attention it needed without paying through the nose all at once. Great service! Very Fast friendly service!! I work full time so don't have the time during normal business hours to get my oil changed so they came to my work picked up my vehicle and brought it back when it was done now that's service!!Everyone was very professional and polite explained a few issues that my vehicle had and quoted me a reasonable price for the repairs!
