The staff were incredibly quick and helpful. They were all super nice, especially JR. I would totally recommend coming here.

The manager and assistant manager are very professional and knowledgeable. Not to mention, they so kind and honest with their customers. Short wait time even when they're busy. Highly recommend. read more

I drove up to the business on Timberline in Fort Collins, CO this Sunday morning for an oil change. They didn't have any cars there and the person working there told me he would give me the "manager special" since something was broken and they can only take cash. He wanted to charge me $129 for an oil change. I told him that was way too high and I would go somewhere else. That special cash price is double the price of Walmart so I wouldn't fall for their "specials". read more

This location always tricks me into adding an engine cleaner that does NOTHING to my car. I already ask for a synthetic oil change, so either they need to run this additive through my engine because quality of the oil they use is horrible, or they just enjoy scamming their customers. I had to pay $140 (and that's with a $15 discount!) for my oil change. I don't see myself coming back to this place, and I definitely will not recommend it to my friends or family. read more

I would give them a negative 5 if I could. They caused my truck engine to throw a rod after they did not tighten the oil filter and I lost all my oil. Don't use this business they hide behind the parent company and won't give you the location of the registered agent so you can sue them for damages. I had to go thru a lot just to find it. The good thing is in Colo. the small claims limit is $7,500.00 I hope people start Sueing them and bring all the bad reviews to the attention of the court. They never even answered my demand letter. By the way the registered agent is (Corporation Service Company 1900 w. Littleton blvd. Littleton, colo. 80120 read more

We specifically told them that we were going to be driving across the country and just needed the fluids topped off and to make sure things looked normal. Well less than 1 hour later (didn't even make it to Denver) his lights came on indicating low tire pressure along with low oil and windshield fluids. They didn't even check the tires or topped off the fluids. We paid them $100 and for what? More problems than when we started? Do not take your vehicle to this place it is honestly dangerous and a waste of your hard earned money. Shame on these people! read more

DO NOT go here!! I went here for my last oil change having only had good experiences at other Grease Monkey locations. Was told my battery on my 2022 Hyundai Palisade was under performing. They switch it out for one of theirs. Misquoting the original price. Not having the right battery they originally offered. I should have stopped them there. Ever since then I have had issues with my car. Just discovered today my coolant is bone dry and my windshield wiper fluid was as well, so I'm not sure what they did except sell me something I didn't need and leave my car in worse shape than when it was brought in. Sketchy location. read more

Went there for a headlight replacement. I talked to Brandon, who was very kind and professional. The price was great ($55 for two headlights, including the service of putting them in).. They did a great job and were finished within a matter of 20 minutes. Definitely will be going back for all future car needs. read more

The team at this location changed recently, and the experience has gotten just as bad as jiffy lube, big-o-tires and all the other corporate mechanic companies that compel you to spend more money than you should. I use to get synthetic blend oil changes for my car at this location without a fuss. Today, they compelled me to get the most expensive oil change package they have (full synthetic blend: $110) after they lied to me about "how switching between full synthetic and synthetic blend was bad for my engine." When I inquiried for a second opinion from a close friend of mine who's been a mechanic for over 30 years, he confirmed that they lied to me just to get me to spend more money.. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place along with other corporate companies. You'll find better value for your money at smaller companies that'll actually be honest with you instead of pulling deceptive sales tactics just to get your to spend more. I won't ever come back to this place for any kind of service after they had me needlessly waste my money for an oil change. Don't fall for their corporate attempt in their response to this review to justify their deceptive sales tactics either; they will rip you off and gaslight you. read more

Ridiculously slow. I sat and waited to get out of my car. Watched and sat there half an hour while they talked about Thor for half an hour. Wasted my time saying 20 minutes then 45 with 6 employees in sight and no one working. I'm glad they didn't do it, so lazy they could have left a cap loose. read more

Grease Monkey - Slowest oil change place ever.. - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Fort Collins, Colorado

Lazy service overall...did not fill any of my fluids. My oil was needing to be changed 3 weeks after getting it changed at Grease Monkey. It was disappointing and I will always go somewhere else now. This could had potentially caused my engine problems if I didnt check my oil levels regularly read more

Terrible place. All they do is change your oil, check off on paper a bunch of stuff they don't even look at. I had a couple for a full vehicle health check which meant nothing at this place. They charge an extra $4 for shop supplies they don't even tell you about. No vacuum offered. The cost of $60 is very high fir getting nothing but the basics and standard oil. So I used my coupon but will never come back here. The good: Service was very quick ( I was there late morning week day. read more

I love this Grease Monkey! I call ahead of time to assess wait time but I have gone half of a dozen times and am in and out with an oil change in less than 20 minutes. The staff is friendly and quick. I came with a fresh car wash so they gave me a coupon for their complimentary car wash for another time! I will definitely be returning for my maintainence needs. read more

Good auto service but they never gave my extra car key/remote back. Don't go to this Grease Monkey if you live out of state because they won't mail you your key/remote back if you accidently leave their store without them. Poor management and poor ownership. The customer is never right here! I tried multiple times to reach out to them but they refuse to return my property - I even have my name and phone number on the key/remote and they still won't return this to me. I am looking at filing a Better Business Bureau Complaint about this. read more

They changed out my filter when they did the oil change because they said it was needed and immediately after turned on my a/c and the fan was crazy loud. Called them and they said that it was probably leaf's and would go away after a few weeks. Returned for an oil change months later told them it was still super noisy they said nothing they could do... problem started when they changed the filter so... their sheer laziness in not blowing out leafs when they changed it and they refuse to fix it. Go elsewhere read more

Painfully slow service. I was there for an oil change and it took over 3 hours (still not done so who knows how long it will take in total). My car was done after about 2 hours, but the brand new employee didn't know how to check out and pay for the service. I don't blame him necessarily - it was his first day apparently in this role. I blame his management for leaving him there alone without proper training, and without the resources to Find answers, seek help/ assistance, or empower him to do anything to make this situation better. Incredibly frustrating that I spent half a day here for an oil change! read more

I had 2 old police cars I brought in from Hawaii. They needed winterizing and oil changes. These guys went above and beyond to make sure these cars were completely gone thru to prevent winters sub zero damage. I really appreciate when someone does more than just their job. read more

Really BAD EXPERIENCE, workers at the shop are so unprofessional. My wife was there today for an oil change and one of the guys that works in the shop was so disrespectful. We ended up calling the police to file a report. Definitely not coming back!. read more

Pulled in with no appointment with my check engine light on... I was getting ready to leave the next morning on a 2000 mile drive so the guys swarmed my van, quickly diagnosed my duel O2 sensor failure mode. Replaced botsensors quickly and topped off all my fluids, etc. Super efficient! Super friendly and courteous and priced very reasonable compared to other shops in the area! Highly recommended!!! read more

Friendly fast service. No pressure tactics to get things done to your car that aren't needed. The price for synthetic change is reasonable as well. Will definitely be back! read more

Wonderful Customer Service! I got here early in the morning... super friendly service, they made sure I had coffee, and even vacuumed out my car. I was so appreciative. --Thank you! read more

I called Grease Monkey yesterday. I told them I wanted to have 1 quart of oil drained, so I could add my quart of motor flush, run the engine for 5 minutes and then have them change my oil. They told me they did not want my business. Great news, I contacted Valvoline Instant Oil Change at 970-482-9096. Not only did they do what I asked them to do, I did the motor flush twice and they charged me only $31 for each oil/filter change. They were very nice and helpful. I highly recommend Valvoilne Instant Oil Change at 410 North College Avenue Fort Collins, CO 80524. read more

This location serviced my truck a few times. I bring my own oil and filter and they still charged me $45 to complete the job. After the latest oil change, they dumped oil all over my engine which led me to believe my truck was leaking oil. This was not the case after I brought my truck in to get looked at for a leak. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK here and I suggest you don't either. read more

Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional staff! I like how they go the extra mile to clean my windows and vacuum the rugs while I wait! Also, they have cookies and refreshments too! I highly recommend. Thanks guys for your hard work and great customer service! P.s. they have student and military discounts :) read more

Highly highly HIGHLY recommend this location. John, one of their car service providers, was extremely helpful and was nothing but genuine and honest. Let me tell ya, I am a woman who knows nothing about cars and usually get eaten alive by mechanics but he really took the time to make sure I understood everything he was explaining to me and was beyond honest on what I did and did not need. His service was genuine and authentic. This was my first time at this location and will certainly be going back every time I need an oil change. Thank you so much John!! read more

I was personally greeted by the owner, car was in quick, unfortunately they didn't have a cartridge filter for a 2015 VW TDI (not surprised) so they found one in Loveland, drove it up, and washed my car because I had to wait a few extra minutes. Absolutely great service, friendly staff, they sat and talked to me while we were waiting for the filter. I usually change my own oil was just busy this week, and after this experience I may just bring Brunhilde here from now on! read more

Dishonest upfront pricing!!! I went to Grease Monkey last week for a synthetic oil change on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The employees are very nice and seem competent enough. My complaint is not with the work, rather the dishonest upfront pricing. My vehicle is one of the most common on the road and I'm sure they see the exact year and model every day. When I got the bill, there were 3 additional charges because my SUV requires a little extra oil. I am fine paying extra for a bigger engine but it is unacceptable to wait until after the job is done to find out about it. I am 100% positive that they know exactly how much oil my incredibly common SUV requires. Be wary of the dishonest upfront pricing. I will not be coming back to this business. read more

Brought our vehicle to Grease Monkey after calling around the area and kept getting run arounds from big chain stores. Called this store and the folks were not only friendly but extremely professional and answered my questions without any BS or making me feel like I was interrupting their day. They had us in a bay within 1 minute of arriving and topped off all of the fluids and took care of checking the tire pressure, which is so important for us as we traveling for a living. We will be back to Grease Monkey for future services! Five stars read more

The technicians did a good job, but the encounter with Jay the assistant manager was awful. Witnessed him being extremely rude to the customers ahead of me. And then when I went to pay I asked if they would accept an expired coupon and he just snapped at me that he wouldn't. Didnt suggest any other options, just rude about it. Need to work on their customer service. read more

After coming about 4 times since moving to Fort Collins, I don't think I will not be coming back anymore. It seems like service has been going down hill every time. The first two times everyone was extremely helpful and felt comfortable leaving my car and now I'm weary which is not good for any business. This last time the technician was not friendly at all and reprimanded me for using the car wash "entrance" although there is an incoming car ring strip located there and I've always come in that way (might be helpful to cone it off if it is a major issue). There is currently no one waiting in the waiting room so I could not give him the benefit of the doubt for being busy (not like it should be an excuse however). He also expected me to give him the exact mileage for the sticker although I had already gotten off the car and he was going to move it in the shop anyways. I had to go back in and turn on the car to read the mileage and come back out... I asked if he can turn off the maintenance light since they forgot last time and got completely ignored. Not even a nod or gesture (major customer service points deducted since it's common human decency). The person checking me out was friendly however. read more

What an AMAZING place to take a car! Our air conditioner broke down a half hour into our road trip! The next 8 hours were pretty hot! When we got to Fort Collins, I asked Seri to help me find a mechanic. Long story short, we ended up at Grease Monkey on Timberline. I could not believe the WONDERFUL customer service and the HONESTY of this shop. They went above and beyond to fix our air conditioner. They diagnosed it, ordered in the part, and came in early to fix it. Plus we got pizza, cookies, and a Nascar experience because of Customer Appreciation Day. Having a car break down is not fun, but in a crazy way, I'm glad it did. Susan, Ray and RJ reaffirmed that there are honest, kind, and hard-working people in this world. They treated me like a long-lost friend. I might plan trips to Colorado around oil changes. Thank you so, so. much!!!!! read more

Fast and efficient. Installed pink windshield wipers for me. Full service plus a car wash. Priced decent.

Very nice guys, but uncertain I'd go again. I went in for an oil change and a tire fill and they didn't do the tire fill. Odd, because when I was checking out I asked them if all the tires were equally low and the guy said yes. I went back today because my low tire indicator was still on and one tire pressure was 35 and the other 3 were 30 or 31. They gave me a free car wash, but I can't help but wonder how my oil change went... read more

When going here a second time after my very expensive oil change I was assured that my oil changes didn't need to be close to $100 and that it must have been a fluke. Their customer service really is great here...I'll continue to go if it doesn't break the bank read more

The staff changed my oil and checked my engine while I ate lunch. Thanks ladies and dudes!

I'm sure most people only come here to get a quick oil change, but just a warning for those that don't... I would get a second opinion if they try to tell you that you need ANYTHING else repaired. Went in for a quick oil change and an overall inspection on fluids and brakes, after my oil is changed, one individual comes out to tell me that my rear brakes are almost at 1-2mm and my brake pads have 30% life left in them. He goes to on to "reassure" me that $360 is the cheapest in town and that he'll price match if I find some place lower. Thankfully I didn't have time to get that done nor did I think $360 was going to be the cheapest I could find. So mildly panicking, I'm calling around looking to see who can get in me to get my brakes replaced and end up taking it in to the TRUSTED auto repair shop that I've been going to since moving to Fort Collins, and guess what? They tell me my rear brakes are completely good to go still, they're at 8-9mm and my brake pads are at 80%. Wow what a shocker! Thankful for truth worthy people in this world, not the scum that work at grease monkey trying to steal money from people just so they can pay for their "fix". This establishment should be shut down. read more

I really appreciated how they were thorough and complete with my oil change and vacuuming. Seemed to be quality guys.
