I already ask for a synthetic oil change, so either they need to run this additive through my engine because quality of the oil they use is horrible, or they just enjoy scamming their customers. I would give them a negative 5 if I could. They caused my truck engine to throw a rod after they did not tighten the oil filter and I lost all my oil. Don't use this business they hide behind the parent company and won't give you the location of the registered agent so you can sue them for damages. I had to go thru a lot just to find it. We specifically told them that we were going to be driving across the country and just needed the fluids topped off and to make sure things looked normal. Well less than 1 hour later (didn't even make it to Denver) his lights came on indicating low tire pressure along with low oil and windshield fluids. They didn't even check the tires or topped off the fluids. We paid them $100 and for what? More problems than when we started? Do not take your vehicle to this place it is honestly dangerous and a waste of your hard earned money. Shame on these people! read more

DO NOT go here!! I went here for my last oil change having only had good experiences at other Grease Monkey locations. Was told my battery on my 2022 Hyundai Palisade was under performing. They switch it out for one of theirs. Misquoting the original price. Not having the right battery they originally offered. I should have stopped them there. Ever since then I have had issues with my car. Just discovered today my coolant is bone dry and my windshield wiper fluid was as well, so I'm not sure what they did except sell me something I didn't need and leave my car in worse shape than when it was brought in. The team at this location changed recently, and the experience has gotten just as bad as jiffy lube, big-o-tires and all the other corporate mechanic companies that compel you to spend more money than you should. I use to get synthetic blend oil changes for my car at this location without a fuss. Today, they compelled me to get the most expensive oil change package they have (full synthetic blend: $110) after they lied to me about "how switching between full synthetic and synthetic blend was bad for my engine." When I inquiried for a second opinion from a close friend of mine who's been a mechanic for over 30 years, he confirmed that they lied to me just to get me to spend more money.. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place along with other corporate companies. You'll find better value for your money at smaller companies that'll actually be honest with you instead of pulling deceptive sales tactics just to get your to spend more. I won't ever come back to this place for any kind of service after they had me needlessly waste my money for an oil change. Good auto service but they never gave my extra car key/remote back. Don't go to this Grease Monkey if you live out of state because they won't mail you your key/remote back if you accidently leave their store without them. Poor management and poor ownership. The customer is never right here! I tried multiple times to reach out to them but they refuse to return my property - I even have my name and phone number on the key/remote and they still won't return this to me. They changed out my filter when they did the oil change because they said it was needed and immediately after turned on my a/c and the fan was crazy loud. Called them and they said that it was probably leaf's and would go away after a few weeks. Returned for an oil change months later told them it was still super noisy they said nothing they could do... problem started when they changed the filter so... their sheer laziness in not blowing out leafs when they changed it and they refuse to fix it. Painfully slow service. I was there for an oil change and it took over 3 hours (still not done so who knows how long it will take in total). My car was done after about 2 hours, but the brand new employee didn't know how to check out and pay for the service. I don't blame him necessarily - it was his first day apparently in this role. I blame his management for leaving him there alone without proper training, and without the resources to Find answers, seek help/ assistance, or empower him to do anything to make this situation better. Pulled in with no appointment with my check engine light on... I was getting ready to leave the next morning on a 2000 mile drive so the guys swarmed my van, quickly diagnosed my duel O2 sensor failure mode. I called Grease Monkey yesterday. I told them I wanted to have 1 quart of oil drained, so I could add my quart of motor flush, run the engine for 5 minutes and then have them change my oil. They told me they did not want my business. Great news, I contacted Valvoline Instant Oil Change at 970-482-9096. Not only did they do what I asked them to do, I did the motor flush twice and they charged me only $31 for each oil/filter change. They were very nice and helpful. This location serviced my truck a few times. I bring my own oil and filter and they still charged me $45 to complete the job. After the latest oil change, they dumped oil all over my engine which led me to believe my truck was leaking oil. This was not the case after I brought my truck in to get looked at for a leak. I was personally greeted by the owner, car was in quick, unfortunately they didn't have a cartridge filter for a 2015 VW TDI (not surprised) so they found one in Loveland, drove it up, and washed my car because I had to wait a few extra minutes. Absolutely great service, friendly staff, they sat and talked to me while we were waiting for the filter. Dishonest upfront pricing!!! I went to Grease Monkey last week for a synthetic oil change on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The employees are very nice and seem competent enough. My complaint is not with the work, rather the dishonest upfront pricing. My vehicle is one of the most common on the road and I'm sure they see the exact year and model every day. When I got the bill, there were 3 additional charges because my SUV requires a little extra oil. I am fine paying extra for a bigger engine but it is unacceptable to wait until after the job is done to find out about it. I am 100% positive that they know exactly how much oil my incredibly common SUV requires. Be wary of the dishonest upfront pricing. I will not be coming back to this business. read more

Brought our vehicle to Grease Monkey after calling around the area and kept getting run arounds from big chain stores. Called this store and the folks were not only friendly but extremely professional and answered my questions without any BS or making me feel like I was interrupting their day. They had us in a bay within 1 minute of arriving and topped off all of the fluids and took care of checking the tire pressure, which is so important for us as we traveling for a living. After coming about 4 times since moving to Fort Collins, I don't think I will not be coming back anymore. It seems like service has been going down hill every time. The first two times everyone was extremely helpful and felt comfortable leaving my car and now I'm weary which is not good for any business. This last time the technician was not friendly at all and reprimanded me for using the car wash "entrance" although there is an incoming car ring strip located there and I've always come in that way (might be helpful to cone it off if it is a major issue). There is currently no one waiting in the waiting room so I could not give him the benefit of the doubt for being busy (not like it should be an excuse however). He also expected me to give him the exact mileage for the sticker although I had already gotten off the car and he was going to move it in the shop anyways. I had to go back in and turn on the car to read the mileage and come back out... I asked if he can turn off the maintenance light since they forgot last time and got completely ignored. What an AMAZING place to take a car! Our air conditioner broke down a half hour into our road trip! The next 8 hours were pretty hot! When we got to Fort Collins, I asked Seri to help me find a mechanic. Long story short, we ended up at Grease Monkey on Timberline. I could not believe the WONDERFUL customer service and the HONESTY of this shop. They went above and beyond to fix our air conditioner. They diagnosed it, ordered in the part, and came in early to fix it. Plus we got pizza, cookies, and a Nascar experience because of Customer Appreciation Day. Having a car break down is not fun, but in a crazy way, I'm glad it did. Susan, Ray and RJ reaffirmed that there are honest, kind, and hard-working people in this world. Odd, because when I was checking out I asked them if all the tires were equally low and the guy said yes. I'm sure most people only come here to get a quick oil change, but just a warning for those that don't... I would get a second opinion if they try to tell you that you need ANYTHING else repaired. Went in for a quick oil change and an overall inspection on fluids and brakes, after my oil is changed, one individual comes out to tell me that my rear brakes are almost at 1-2mm and my brake pads have 30% life left in them. He goes to on to "reassure" me that $360 is the cheapest in town and that he'll price match if I find some place lower. Thankfully I didn't have time to get that done nor did I think $360 was going to be the cheapest I could find. So mildly panicking, I'm calling around looking to see who can get in me to get my brakes replaced and end up taking it in to the TRUSTED auto repair shop that I've been going to since moving to Fort Collins, and guess what? They tell me my rear brakes are completely good to go still, they're at 8-9mm and my brake pads are at 80%. Wow what a shocker! Thankful for truth worthy people in this world, not the scum that work at grease monkey trying to steal money from people just so they can pay for their "fix". I live in Greeley but recently decided this will be the only place I go to get my oil changed. The staff is really nice and I never felt pressured to get more done like I do at other places. They took me aside to give me a quick report of their recommendations. They had found that my serpentine belt was cracked every half-inch or so and would probably break soon. I had to wait a bit longer--they needed to get the right belt for my car, fit it on, etc.--but they knocked off $10 for my wait even though I was the one making them stay 30min after closing time. I had gotten my oil changed only 2 months before at a different location and the guys never said anything about my belt. That sort of damage can't be caused in that short period of time. The staff is nice, efficient (my oil change was done within 10 min), not pushy, and actually knows what they're doing. I feel like I can trust them so they've won my business. (Not to mention the $10 for a King Soopers card deal. I love that too.) read more
