They allowed us time to decide if it was worth fixing and were creative about getting the costs to something more affordable but ultimately I agreed to have all but one item fixed. Their willingness to work with me on it really sealed the deal. I never felt pressured one way or the other and researched the prices of each repair item and they were market value. I really appreciated that I wasn't given grief for wanting to fix this old beauty instead of calling it quits and also appreciated their confidence in doing this amount of work to make it like new. Most importantly, the repairs were done right without gimmick and they're under warranty! Their prices were competitive compared to other local euro mechanics, and far less expensive than a dealer mechanic. I unfortunately had another coolant leak right after getting the first one repaired, which Eric warned me about. Both Eric and Rob spent a lot of time explaining the repair process to me to put my mind at ease and show I was getting quality service. Rob was very considerate and gave my vehicle a courtesy inspection/diagnostic to find the source of the second leak. My car was returned to me cleaner than when I dropped it off, which was very nice to see. The staff here were extraordinary in their service and knowledge. I showed up, car on a AAA tow, at 525 yesterday stressed and nervous for how much this was gonna cost, met Rob and instantly felt relived, he was friendly, made me feel like he cared about my situation and not just after my money. Today I got a call they explained to me what was wrong with my vehicle and sent me pictures of the problem so I could see what the issue was, and told me that my parts would be in on the afternoon parts run. Identified these issues: check engine light, headlight that keeps burning out (told them its not…read morethe bulb, its wiring), a rear window that will not roll down from the driver's controls, windshield sprayer broken (can see the broken sprayer nozzle on the hood). I was charged a couple hundred for electrical diagnostics, only for them to replace the bulb (which went out again in 4 days, as I said, its a wiring issue). They wanted another couple hundred to diagnose the sprayer issue, even though I told them the sprayer on the hood is broken and its visible. They fixed the check engine light from a faulty oil pressure switch. When I returned a week after my initial visit for the 2nd round on the headlight, I am now told its a TIPM which will cost ~$2k to replace. Window was never addressed. I will be doing both the sprayer and TIPM myself for $750, a $1200 savings. Refurbished/programmed TIPMs are available online for $700

Here you can see the destroyed bearings and bent frame (can't see the bend in pic) from when a belt snapped and beat the crap out of my car.
