Been Yelping for a while I never want to leave a review such as this but I felt compelled to let people know my experience. I had scheduled to go to my normal mechanic but had reasons to need to get an oil change sooner than they can get me in, my partner has been coming to this grease monkey and hadn't had issues so I THOUGHT I could trust his experience. They got me in and out in 15 mins on a Wednesday mid morning and I drove away feeling great, happy I got something checked off of my "to do" before hosting guests in town. Until I found a pool of grease in my drive way after getting home from some errands. When I left their office they said everything checked out great, they recommended transmission fluid change that I declined as I want to do that w my mechanic.... and there were no issues when I was paying. They failed to tell me that they found a leaky drain plug before they performed the oil change. Did not call attention to it during the process or when I signed, said everything checked out fine, took my money, which was about $80 after coupon and tax for the house synthetic..... Yes, I should have read the paper before signing... I also should have been notified that they found issues, before they decided to swap out my oil. In looking at the reviews, they probably damaged my drain plug during their speedy process, put a note on my receipt and got me out in a jiffy. The really trippy part, was when I took it back that same day in the afternoon, asked them kindly on how they can help me, that I was not notified of the issue before the oil change. I was told - that's our cashier's fault for not telling you, nothing we can do. The messenger asked me who helped me as the cashier and said let me check with my manager on what we can do... The manager did not come out to address, hiding in the bay below deck, spoke through the rep - the messenger only said that since the note is on the receipt and I signed, they are not liable for anything and I'm out of luck - though I can take my car to Big O's down the street and they might be able to give me a good discount as they are partners. They were able to tighten the screw more so it's leaking less - my problem was that my car was not leaking before I got there. The worst part, is the person I was speaking to said that they are not real mechanics and do not have the tools to help me. I then asked if there is anything they can do to address the lack of responsibility potentially with something on my payment due to their cashier not informing me of the issue. It couldn't have been done. I called my normal mechanic right away and they were going to help me but I'm nervous that GM had done more damage to my vehicle in order to partner with another business for additional gains. I am glad this is a lesson I learned the hard way... would recommend anyone to go ahead and skip this location. Especially now I've read reviews on Yelp w other female customers. I was a first time customer here and this would also be the last time. Just hope my mechanic would be able to fix the issue quickly and easily. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, do yourself a favor and skip this inexperienced location before they damage your car further. Off my soap box. read more

The last oil change I had here they completely destroyed the oil plug by over tightening it (the filter was way too tight as well)! I took my car into my regular mechanic to get the brakes fixed and he said based on the sticker in window I needed an oil change so I said sure. He called and said the plug was so stripped he didn't want to touch it because I could potentially need a new oil pan if the bolt was stripped too. This store denied that their employee would do that, and if the "tamper seal-ie paint mark" was gone they wouldn't touch it anyway. Luckily, I did not need a new oil pan in the end, but I did have to pay my guy 3 hours of labor to get this off without stripping it! I will never go anywhere but TRAINED MECHANIC for an oil change ever again! read more

Seriously the best service!!! Arrived at 8 and had my oil change done by 8:15am. Excellent service.

I went in for a standard oil change for $89.00. The tech comes out and shows me a somewhat dirty air filter and asked me if I would like to replace it and top off my differential fluid. I said sure. Not thinking much about it. I went in to pay and they blindsided me with a $356.00 bill. I asked why it was so much and they explain to me that they drained and filled my differential as well as did my air filter. I will Never go back to any Grease Monkey again. Absolute disgusted by this. Just a thought if anyone from Grease Monkey reads this. Perhaps tell the customer what "topping off fluids" costs so they are not blindsided like I was. And just for reference, I went to the 72nd and Pecos Grease Monkey in Westminster. I hope this helps save others from having this happen to them. read more

I called today and they said I could come in but it would be an hour wait for my oil change. I got here and was in and out in less than an hour. There were only two people working and they were both nice friendly men. They checked my tires, topped off my fluids, and did my oil change. I couldn't ask for better service. Although my husband and I live on the other side of town and there's a Grease Monkey right up the street from where we live, we make the drive down here. The men working here are competent, helpful, and professional. We usually munch on the complimentary popcorn while we wait inside. Once they're done with the oil change, they call us out to the car and show us their work and notify us of anything that needs attention. I've never felt as if they were trying to up-sell us, on the contrary, they usually break down my car issues by urgency needed. On several occasions, I have found goodies on the passenger seat when I get back in the car. These small and simple gestures go a long way! All in all, this is quality work I can trust. read more

I received a coupon in the mail for $7 off which is what promoted me to come in . It's also conveniently located down the street from my house so that was another plus. Came in for an oil change on a Monday morning. They gave a couple options and got me in with no wait. There was popcorn and coffee in the lobby. It took overall 20 mins. They refilled my washer fluid and checked other mechanics. They weren't pushy on selling items and invited me to come back in when things appear low or if I have any questions Great customer service that I didn't expect walking in. Hmmm go figure read more

I had my vehicle serviced a couple months ago and the service team were really professional. Unbeknownst to anyone immediately, some minor incidental damage occurred to my vehicle. I brought this up to the manager and he addressed it promptly and resolved the issue as soon as he could. This kind of service is rare now days and I have to tip my hat to these professionals. I took my husband's nitro to grease monkey on 71st pecos st, the service is always good. The Tag posted in window was dated October 2018 although oil change light stayed on. I have to say I had a very good experience at this location. I was a little apprehensive because I normally go to the Golden location so I was hesitant about trying a new location however was very pleased with the service. What I really like is that whom I'm guessing was the manager (I forgot to get his name) communicated with me through the whole process of my oil change and tire rotation along with walking me out to my car and pointing out everything they had done assuring me all caps, oil plug, lug nuts...etc were properly tightened/closed along with showing me the oil level. These guys are friendly, they don't try to dumb sell you and are polite! The crew here are a real team and it shows!

This place is great if you so not value the life of your car or the safety of the people who ride in your car. Unless you are well aware of what goes on they will take short cuts that will do damage to your car. They do not check your fluids or top them off. They don't always change out your oil filter. Most important is the grease in the zerts for your ball joints, tie rod ends, boots, and your drive shaft. It's called a lube, oil, filter for a reason. They upgrade you on things you don't need and prey on your knowledge of a vehicle or not. They give you the false sense of security and that they completed the job well done. When you catch them in a lie and we got them in many that told us to never come back. They say 100% correct 100% Guaranteed! This is the biggest line of marketing bs that I am in contact with Grease Monkey International that is helping with the franchise misrepresenting the brand. Furthermore getting local media involved. Please if you have any value on your vehicle or life stay away! read more
