I was referred to Charlie's by my regular repair shop (ice cold air) to have my transmission…read morerepaired. Apparently when putting everything back together they left wires lose going to the starter. Which resulted in the wires to short out and damage not only the starter but the wires as well. Not even driving it for two weeks I lost all my power. The wires shorted out my alternator as well. I found this out because I took my car. That was totally dead back to ICE COLD AIR. THEY videoed the lose wires and the burnt area on the starter. I've been with Ice Cold Air Force close to 10 years. NEVER had a problem with them. They are surprised that Charlie's is not taking responsibility for their mistake. Now, Dave at Charlie's Transmission said they aren't responsible in any way (although admitting the video showed lose wires) and that I was being taken. And he would not allow ICA to be taken as well. I'll be the first to admit, when it comes to mechanics, I can't change a spark plug. So in my non-mechanic opinion, CHARLIES TRANSMISSION HAS COST ME CLISE TO ANOTHER 1,000$. TO FIX A PROBLEM THAT THEY CAUSED. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND CHARLIES TO CHANGE ANYBODYS OIL! DAVE IS REFUSING TO OWN UP TO THE MISTAKE HIS MECHANIC DID TO MY CAR. IN the length of time I've been going to ICE COLD AIR, not once have they EVER tried to upsell me even one service I did not need. And they have honored EVERY WARRANTY that I eventually used. So. Just my opinion, but I'd think twice before going to CHARLIES. I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS. IF THAT HAD BEEN AN OPTION!

My finance and I priced out the parts at retail and they were no where near what they wanted to charge! I had the car towed to another mechanic who did the work for $2,000 less!!!!!!!!! I will NEVER give them any business and will tell everyone to steer clear of this place. Do yourself a favor and drive right past this place to someone who gives a crap and can provide a great customer experience with fair pricing. Also, there is no where to wait, sit, etc. You are stuck waiting outside in the heat. Just another reason to take your business to a professional mechanic.

This place is a complete rip off. Back when my mechanic had retired and I was looking for another…read moreplace to go to I went here back in 2022. I just stumbled on the receipt so I decided to leave the review. Mainly due to me, replacing her ignition coils and spark plugs last year on my own ironically 2 years after I left this repair shop. Looking at the bill, he charged me $711 To replace four spark plugs and four ignition coils And $75 for a standard oil change. I don't believe that he got me quality, ignition coils, hint, spark plugs for the price of $455 consider considering I had multiple ignition coil failures Not even two years later. I remember the Mechanic Talking down on my fiancé about the maintenance of the car. After losing a trustworthy mechanic and being screwed over, I refused to go back for incomplete and instead did the repair on my own with YouTube. And guess what? a novice like me in a YouTube video, I was able to replace the four coils and spark plug plugs in less than 20 minutes. Thus, the Shop charged me $400-600 an hour to complete this 20 minute job for $200. (I changed out both spark plugs and coils in my Kia soul and Honda civic in less than 45 minutes). They charge me $450 for parts that I do not even believe that we're brand new, and a bundle of 4 ignition coils and spark plugs from A-premium cost $53 and still running solid a year later. As a matter of fact, I replaced both the ignition coils and spark plugs in both my Honda and the Kia for $130 for parts. They marked up the price 850% from new spark plugs and coils, and probably by 15000% by not even getting new parts. I highly recommend that if you're looking for a mechanic to search elsewhere. The positive reviews may only be from close friends or relatives of the people that work there that get reasonable prices. Even looking back at this receipt, he didn't write if it was a full synthetic or regular. Conventional oil change. I was naïve back then and I encourage everyone else to not be as naïve as I was. Please look at the documentation that I have provided. As you'll see, I went to their shop in October 2022 in which they upcharged me significantly. And the fact that I had to buy the spark plugs and coils myself to do the repairs as the shops work did not last two years. Granted, a new set of spark plugs and ignition coils are expected to last 100,000 miles And routine maintenance and suggest changing your spark plugs and coils every hundred thousand miles. So we were due for a routine maintenance but instead The Mechanic emphasize that my fiancé needs to take better care of vehicles. do not come here if you are a new customer. Stop coming here if you fact, check any previous invoice that you got and noticed that you were up charged. Or exploited. Keep coming here if you personally know the employees and get reasonable pricing. Keep coming here if they make you feel like they know more than you believing what they say, as opposed to what they do.

Korby here -- I was just there this morning…read more About a month and a half ago, I brought my vehicle to ATC for an A/C issue. I was told the system would be evacuated and recharged, and that a leak check would be performed. I was later informed no leaks were found, and I was charged for the service. The A/C worked initially. Roughly 2-3 weeks later, the cooling performance declined again. I returned and was told the issue was a leaking evaporator, with an estimate of about $1,800. Because the leak had not been identified during the initial visit, I decided to get a second opinion. Another shop performed a full diagnostic with UV dye and showed clear visual evidence of a leak at the condenser (front of the vehicle), including visible dye on the condenser core and signs of physical damage. They also found no indication of an evaporator leak. The repair was completed for significantly less than the original estimate, and the issue has been properly identified. I'm sharing this so others understand the importance of confirming the exact source of an A/C leak before committing to major repairs.
