I came here for an oil change on Monday 12/15/25. When I arrived I was the only vehicle there. I parked outside and went in to the waiting area. They pulled my vehicle in and 10 minutes later my car was done. That was fast. The only thing I didn't like about the service was they never checked my wipers and see if I wanted to have them replaced. Also they never asked me what kind of oil I wanted in my car conventional, full synthetic or somthing in between. They just assumed I wanted the same as the last time. They did try to up-sell me on some air filters that I didn't think they needed to be replaced yet. I didn't look at the wiper fluid to see it it was topped off. I do recommend this place and will return again in the future. I would recommend when you visit you tell them what grade of oil you want so they don't just put whatever in your engine, conventional or full synthetic. read more

I have. even using this location exclusively, mainly due to convenience. when I recently decided to get my oil changed I was told that there is a temporary oil pan plug and they can't do an oil change for me. I explained to them that one of their employees had to have put the temp plug in. they denied it but said he have a friend that can fix it. Bottom line: they did this and won't fix it. when I tried to talk to the manager they said he isn't available. They either dropped my original plug or cross threaded it. They won't make it right. I always come here for my oil changes and recently started coming for my brakes, too. Great guys, and fast service. The oil changes only take a few minutes, and if you're having a longer service done you can walk to shopping or lunch. I feel like the prices are fair, and there is usually an active coupon in the mail on top of that. read more

I stopped in for a car wash today. Paid for the VIP. When the attendant was drying my car he had a wet rag. I watched him wring it out. I asked why he was using a wet one and he said they don't have a dryer. The owner doesn't like to spend money. That is obvious. Your customers want the car dry not water smeared around. Pay $20 for The Boss wash and every time there's no towels for the hand dry. No tire and wheel service. The suds are barely coming out of the pipes. Water barely sprays on the vehicle, and that water looks to be brown from a lack of filtration. Kid try's with the pressure washer and only gets the front, drivers side, and back. Maybe kinda sprays a little at the passenger side, but only the back third. This place has really taken a dump in the last couple of years. Operators know when there are no towels, and never offer a discount for the service, or just tell you up front it's unavailable. I'm done wasting my money at a half ass'ed car wash with employees that are almost never smiling and genuinely unhappy to be of service. read more

We have been to the other location once. We liked our previous Grease Monkey experience so much that we want to go back. Unfortunately they didn't have a coupon so we decided to give the Battle Ground location a try. The one thing I love about Grease Monkey is their waiting area. Although the Battle Ground location is much older and the waiting area is much tighter. They have a soda machine where you can get soda without ice, coffee and tea and chocolate chip cookies. They also have a large selection of magazines too. Now they also have a TV screen showing the time of service. They take $1 off for every minute they go over. While we are waiting we saw they serviced 2 vehicles, both services went over time. They did mention about taking $1 for every minute over 20 minutes. The mechanics are very friendly. When I inquired about the bathroom code, one guy gave me the wrong code. Right away two other mechanics rushed to the bathroom to let me know the correct code. This location also gave us a free car wash which is right next to their shop and a free flower rested on my dashboard. Great touch! We will definitely go back there for our future oil changes. My Dad is very adamant about his car maintenance and always believes in Quality of service so now that he is no longer a driver the maintenance of his car falls on me, I've been taking his car to the BG Grease Monkey and it is no wonder my Dad won't go anywhere else ; The car attendants look young but don't let that fool you , they are very professional, do outstanding work and go the extra mile to be of service !!! Very happy with the service when I come in for oil changes. Price is fair and they do t try to up sell you on things you don't need, at least in my experience. My only gripe is with the car wash. Getting the boss level is useless. After paying for the boss level 3 times and not having my tires dressed, I come in yesterday mentioned it to the attendant, slipped him a five and asked to please make sure they hit the tires. He very politely said you got it and thanked me for the tip. Again, they neglected to dress the tires. However, they were pretty thorough with drying my truck. I have been taking my vehicles to this business for years and I have not been disappointed with their service but I went in last week and in spite of the signs stating that masks and distancing were required none of the employees I interacted with were wearing masks. Two other unmasked customers came in while I was there and nothing was said to them. I sent them a private message which they did not respond to. COVID-19 cases are spiking in our area and we do have state authorized restrictions. I've recently moved to the area and needed to find a new oil change location. I was incredibly loyal to my old location but it's too far out of the way for me now. This was out of my way a bit but it came recommended so I thought I'd give it a try. I could not have been more happy and will continue to come back. The guy who took my keys from me communicated well. I hopped out of the car and told him I'd never been there before so he directed me to the waiting room and let me know what to expect from there. In the waiting room the gentleman was incredibly polite and well spoken. I do also appreciate that he was very clear my car required synthetic. I didn't feel slighted by this company. As a woman I didn't feel intimidated or disrespected. And the best of all - you get a free car wash, they leave candy AND A FLOWER in the car. Done - take my money. I'll be back. read more

The employees at this location in Battle Ground are lazy. They sit and watch vulgar videos and ignore customers. They always remove the ac cabin filter and destroy it and make you buy a new one even though I just replaced it 5 weeks ago. I had 3 quarters + 2 dimes and a nickel and wanted to exchange it for a quarter so I could vacuum my car. Well he has to ask a manager, who was outside talking and having a good tome with some friends, and comes back and says we don't have any quarters, wow! We bought a used car and wanted to get it cleaned/sanitized. Came here and had the Interior package done...we are very happy with the results. The interior was pretty stained and full of dog hair. Needed a quick oil change and did not have time to make appointment at my normal service garage. Service was quick and friendly and the price for the oil change was high but acceptable considering the convenience factor. When they showed me my air filters (both engine and cabin) I thought it would be a good time to change them. Bad mistake! I should have asked the price first, but didn't. Gotcha! They charged about three times the retail price for each of them. Can you imagine spending $40 for a cabin air filter? The MOST expensive brand costs less than $15 anywhere else, but not at the Grease Monkey. If I am really in a bind for time, I MIGHT consider using Grease Monkey again for an oil change, but nothing else. The have ripped me off for the last time on there "high margin" items. read more

Went today. Yes it was busy but this was the worst car wash ever. The car wash doesn't wash your car it takes the first guy and the guy that wipes and drys it at the end. Both FAILED today. I pulled over and used 2 rags I had to clean and dry the car. Both were filthy when I was done. I get it's busy but it's a car wash so I expect at $15 my car to be clean. If you are looking for your car to be rinsed for a substantial price then it's great. If not choose somewhere else read more

I've been using Grease Monkey for 6 years now and every time I go I get the best service and speedy turn around without the "upsell" I have experienced at other quick lube businesses. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable. Took my less than 1 yr old Kia Forte in for an oil change and they did not bolt the under engine cover back on properly. 3 days later, it was damaged and had to be replaced for another $75. Needless to say, will not be returning to have my oil changed at this station again. Not sure why they had an issue with this as I had my oil changed at Firestone 6 months ago and they did it with no problems whatsoever. Also found their prices to be higher than other places. Not worth it. Edit: Changed rating after I was reimbursed for the repairs by the owner. Excellent customer service despite my bad experience. read more

BUT the owner and manager went out of thier way to make sure that I was taken care of and we above and beyond what needed to be done to make sure that I was satisfied. Being an ex-Auto Mechanic from years ago, I can no longer maintain my own vehicles due to health concerns, and am cautious about any auto repair facility, but the one thing Grease Monkey BG did was stole my wife's heart. She loves them but is easy to give in on upsales so I was skeptical at first. But after having had a couple of oil changes there, I'm starting to cave in too. They do good work, give the ladies a flower on the dash, litter bag w/candy, air freshner, and other items in it. I'd have given them 5 stars, but they do tout an up-sale marketing thing on some services and products though, but I guess who wouldn't blame them.
