I've been to the Grease Monkey on 4th Plain several times. I pulled up to this one in BG. Much dumpier and staff immediately not as friendly (directed me to get in line at the other bay next to the one I pulled up to....seemed irritated at least). Another guy came up and said, "Your car always make that awful noise?" Yeah, it has. That's a bit abbrasive, but whatever. I said yes. He said, "you been here before?" Me: "I've been to the one on fourth plane." He said, leave the keys here and wait in the lobby. I told him we were going to walk across the parking lot and get a drink. "Well I'm not going to start until you get back" he said. I'm confused, "Why can't you?" "I can't do anything without your information. And with your car sounding like that, I'm not going to guarantee the work. It sounds like you're about to lose a bearing." Okay, now we're going from bad to worse. I just told him I'm leaving, I'm just going to my regular place. "Well they shouldn't insure it either," he said. Okay. Cut to the Grease Monkey on 4th Plain 15 mins later. I pull up. "Oil change?" "Yes Please." "You been here before?" "Yup." "Okay, go ahead and wait in the waiting room." "You don't need anything from me?" "Nope, everything's in the system." I wait in the waiting room, there's a car ahead of me. My daughter has some popcorn. I'm writing this. No mention of the noise or bearings and my oil is changed and guarenteed. Phew. read more

I came here for an oil change on Monday 12/15/25. When I arrived I was the only vehicle there. I parked outside and went in to the waiting area. They pulled my vehicle in and 10 minutes later my car was done. That was fast. The only thing I didn't like about the service was they never checked my wipers and see if I wanted to have them replaced. Also they never asked me what kind of oil I wanted in my car conventional, full synthetic or somthing in between. They just assumed I wanted the same as the last time. They did try to up-sell me on some air filters that I didn't think they needed to be replaced yet. I didn't look at the wiper fluid to see it it was topped off. I do recommend this place and will return again in the future. I would recommend when you visit you tell them what grade of oil you want so they don't just put whatever in your engine, conventional or full synthetic. read more

I have. even using this location exclusively, mainly due to convenience. when I recently decided to get my oil changed I was told that there is a temporary oil pan plug and they can't do an oil change for me. I explained to them that one of their employees had to have put the temp plug in. they denied it but said he have a friend that can fix it. Bottom line: they did this and won't fix it. when I tried to talk to the manager they said he isn't available. They either dropped my original plug or cross threaded it. They won't make it right. I'm livid and Resent the company read more

I always come here for my oil changes and recently started coming for my brakes, too. Great guys, and fast service. The oil changes only take a few minutes, and if you're having a longer service done you can walk to shopping or lunch. I feel like the prices are fair, and there is usually an active coupon in the mail on top of that. read more

Way too expensive. Quite the interesting employees. Didn't trust them very much and the place was a dump. Don't recommend

Came in for an oil change with no appointment. Service was fast, friendly and pricing was fair. No attempted upselling or pressure for unnecessary services. I'll be back in 5,000 miles. read more

Always good with my car. My husband's cat not so much Good guys good fast service First come first service basis read more

I stopped in for a car wash today. Paid for the VIP. When the attendant was drying my car he had a wet rag. I watched him wring it out. I asked why he was using a wet one and he said they don't have a dryer. The owner doesn't like to spend money. That is obvious. Your customers want the car dry not water smeared around. OWNER, DO BETTER. read more

We have been to the other location once. We liked our previous Grease Monkey experience so much that we want to go back. Unfortunately they didn't have a coupon so we decided to give the Battle Ground location a try. The one thing I love about Grease Monkey is their waiting area. Although the Battle Ground location is much older and the waiting area is much tighter. They have a soda machine where you can get soda without ice, coffee and tea and chocolate chip cookies. They also have a large selection of magazines too. Now they also have a TV screen showing the time of service. They take $1 off for every minute they go over. While we are waiting we saw they serviced 2 vehicles, both services went over time. They did mention about taking $1 for every minute over 20 minutes. The mechanics are very friendly. When I inquired about the bathroom code, one guy gave me the wrong code. Right away two other mechanics rushed to the bathroom to let me know the correct code. This location also gave us a free car wash which is right next to their shop and a free flower rested on my dashboard. Great touch! We will definitely go back there for our future oil changes. Great job! read more

Pay $20 for The Boss wash and every time there's no towels for the hand dry. No tire and wheel service. The suds are barely coming out of the pipes. Water barely sprays on the vehicle, and that water looks to be brown from a lack of filtration. Kid try's with the pressure washer and only gets the front, drivers side, and back. Maybe kinda sprays a little at the passenger side, but only the back third. This place has really taken a dump in the last couple of years. Operators know when there are no towels, and never offer a discount for the service, or just tell you up front it's unavailable. I'm done wasting my money at a half ass'ed car wash with employees that are almost never smiling and genuinely unhappy to be of service. read more

Fantastic and friendly service! Everything explained and discussed (even though they have a timer running on your oil change with $1 off for each minute over!) Vacuumed the interior, discussed upcoming needed service with no pressure, prices plainly listed, even a free car wash included. First-time customer will 100% be back, thanks Grease Monkey Pit Crew! read more

My Dad is very adamant about his car maintenance and always believes in Quality of service so now that he is no longer a driver the maintenance of his car falls on me, I've been taking his car to the BG Grease Monkey and it is no wonder my Dad won't go anywhere else ; The car attendants look young but don't let that fool you , they are very professional, do outstanding work and go the extra mile to be of service !!! I'm always informed throughout the service of what is needed or recommendations which I'm grateful for . I've put their integrity to the test many times and they have passed always . I RECOMMEND THIS SHOP FOR MANY REASONS BUT MOST OF ALL FOR THEIR SERVICE AND INTEGRITY !!!! I commend all of you for being the best !!!!! read more

I use to go to Grease Monkey all the time but the car washes just seem to be mediocre at best now. This is the executive with the hand dry....not very clean. read more

I took my truck in a couple weeks ago for breaks, they gave me a good price, and everything was good there, but they forgot or just didn't do it, but the back passenger wheel, just about fell off today, all my lug nuts where finger tight. I hope my hubs and stuff aren't messed up now. read more

The tall guy with the glasses did a horrible job with my cleaning, he messed up my side mirror, and attempted to flirt with my daughter.

Paid for the boss and got a towel to wipe my dash down, nothing else. Just get the express. Not worth it otherwise. read more

The front desk acted like.he had the case.of the ass. Asked if I ever been there before, i said yes, in fact I have a sticker in my window from the last visit. Said your not in the system. Would not make eye contact was abrupt. I guess the last three times was a figment of my imagination. Clue, you are in the customer service business..sorry if I disturbed your day. Next time I will go to one of the other two businesses in town read more

The service performed was good and quick and so far no issues. My only concern is that there was a heavy pot odor in the shop. Concerns me if the employees are using on the click and thst it could affect the outcomr of their work. read more

Recommend using the app to find out availability. They responded fast. Also got ten dollars off service. Saving is a great customer service. Will be back again. read more

Very happy with the service when I come in for oil changes. Price is fair and they do t try to up sell you on things you don't need, at least in my experience. My only gripe is with the car wash. Getting the boss level is useless. After paying for the boss level 3 times and not having my tires dressed, I come in yesterday mentioned it to the attendant, slipped him a five and asked to please make sure they hit the tires. He very politely said you got it and thanked me for the tip. Again, they neglected to dress the tires. However, they were pretty thorough with drying my truck. Just a minor annoyance and I'll still come back. read more

I have been taking my vehicles to this business for years and I have not been disappointed with their service but I went in last week and in spite of the signs stating that masks and distancing were required none of the employees I interacted with were wearing masks. Two other unmasked customers came in while I was there and nothing was said to them. I sent them a private message which they did not respond to. COVID-19 cases are spiking in our area and we do have state authorized restrictions. I am in a high risk group and will not be returning to this business until they begin to have care for their customers. read more

I've recently moved to the area and needed to find a new oil change location. I was incredibly loyal to my old location but it's too far out of the way for me now. This was out of my way a bit but it came recommended so I thought I'd give it a try. I could not have been more happy and will continue to come back. The guy who took my keys from me communicated well. I hopped out of the car and told him I'd never been there before so he directed me to the waiting room and let me know what to expect from there. In the waiting room the gentleman was incredibly polite and well spoken. I do also appreciate that he was very clear my car required synthetic. I didn't feel slighted by this company. As a woman I didn't feel intimidated or disrespected. And the best of all - you get a free car wash, they leave candy AND A FLOWER in the car. Done - take my money. I'll be back. read more

I use to go here all the time. It seems like they now have many young people. Last time kid said they didn't have a filter for my car? 2014 Honda CRV? Not sure if they have a staff problem or not. Not sure if I will be going back or not. Use to be very good a year ago???? read more

The employees at this location in Battle Ground are lazy. They sit and watch vulgar videos and ignore customers. They always remove the ac cabin filter and destroy it and make you buy a new one even though I just replaced it 5 weeks ago. I had 3 quarters + 2 dimes and a nickel and wanted to exchange it for a quarter so I could vacuum my car. Well he has to ask a manager, who was outside talking and having a good tome with some friends, and comes back and says we don't have any quarters, wow! I will not go to this location again. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! DO NOT RECOMMEND! Tried to get an oil change today and had 2 specific questions. The young kid that came to my car said he didn't know anything about the business, just how to change oil? He then rudely and condescendingly told another guy I needed help and that guy poked his head in the waiting area and said "I'm short staffed and don't have time for this!" He then told me to sit down and he would help me when he could! I said I have 2 quick questions, he said he didn't have time. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

We bought a used car and wanted to get it cleaned/sanitized. Came here and had the Interior package done...we are very happy with the results. The interior was pretty stained and full of dog hair. I wish I took a before and after pic, it's impressive. Not to mention, the pricing is quite competitive. Thank you guys, awesome job!!! read more

Needed a quick oil change and did not have time to make appointment at my normal service garage. Service was quick and friendly and the price for the oil change was high but acceptable considering the convenience factor. When they showed me my air filters (both engine and cabin) I thought it would be a good time to change them. Bad mistake! I should have asked the price first, but didn't. Gotcha! They charged about three times the retail price for each of them. Can you imagine spending $40 for a cabin air filter? The MOST expensive brand costs less than $15 anywhere else, but not at the Grease Monkey. If I am really in a bind for time, I MIGHT consider using Grease Monkey again for an oil change, but nothing else. The have ripped me off for the last time on there "high margin" items. read more

I look forward to getting my oil change... as a woman. I always feel uncomfortable and it's very easy to get extra charges for services that were not ran by before performing. I don't write reviews but I really love this spot and always come for my oil changes. Highly highly recommend! read more

Went today. Yes it was busy but this was the worst car wash ever. The car wash doesn't wash your car it takes the first guy and the guy that wipes and drys it at the end. Both FAILED today. I pulled over and used 2 rags I had to clean and dry the car. Both were filthy when I was done. I get it's busy but it's a car wash so I expect at $15 my car to be clean. If you are looking for your car to be rinsed for a substantial price then it's great. If not choose somewhere else read more

I've been using Grease Monkey for 6 years now and every time I go I get the best service and speedy turn around without the "upsell" I have experienced at other quick lube businesses. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable. The workers there are very polite! I wrote a bad review for them yesterday. For something they did wrong. If they mess up, just let them know and they will make it right. read more

Being an ex-Auto Mechanic from years ago, I can no longer maintain my own vehicles due to health concerns, and am cautious about any auto repair facility, but the one thing Grease Monkey BG did was stole my wife's heart. She loves them but is easy to give in on upsales so I was skeptical at first. But after having had a couple of oil changes there, I'm starting to cave in too. They do good work, give the ladies a flower on the dash, litter bag w/candy, air freshner, and other items in it. I'd have given them 5 stars, but they do tout an up-sale marketing thing on some services and products though, but I guess who wouldn't blame them. I've always been given a good coupon discount without a coupon which is a plus. read more

These guys Rock Bought a new (used) car with an expired Jiffy Lube sticker and took it in for an oil change. They told me I didn't need one. On their website they state that they clean and fix headlights. "Oh uh yeah, I think the guy that does that will be here on Monday." So no. They only clean headlights "like when uh, the right guy is there" Either you offer a service or you don't. I used to come here for all my oil changes because they were quick and polite but now I suspect half their techs are incompetent. What if I showed up and the "oil-change" guy was gone? read more

First thing I noticed, the guy that greeted me when I pulled in was very polite. He asked me a few questions to make sure I got the right oil without confusing me. When I got inside, the lobby was very clean and modern with coffee and water and other refreshments. The turnaround time was fast and they told me my filters were all brand new so all I needed was the oil change...what a change from Jiffy Lube, who on my last visit, tried to sell me two new ones saying mine were dirty...for over $100. It's nice to just get an oil change and not worry that someone is going to try to fool you into spending a bunch of extra money on things like filters. The staff was great, the price is fair, and they throw in some extras like a car wash and a little bag of candy and an air freshener (which was a happy little surprise). BG newbie but this is where I'll be taking my car from now on. Excellent work. read more
