The pork yeero (gyro) was an authentic Greek Greek size (not very big), but there was a lot of meat in it which was quite tasty & juicy. The tzatziki was generous & good. The fries were a very big portion. They were light, fluffy, crispy & fresh, with a nice savoury flavour, but a bit under salted. read more

We visited here a second time and were a bit disappointed with our experience. Ordering through the phone was easy, as was pickup, however when I got there they couldn't seem to find my order but then located it as already sitting by the cash register. Small issue but no big deal. When we got home we were disappointed to find the calamari really soggy and almost undercooked. I understand that when you takeout something fried like calamari the integrity of the crispness will be affected however this was so pale in colour and not that nice golden colour that calamari should be. The rings were chewy and lacked any flavour. We were disappointed as we've had it before and it was really good. The chicken souvlaki was not bad, portion size was good, rice and potatoes were also good. The salad dressing was super oily and not as bright and tart as it was before. There was just tons of flavorless oil sitting at the bottom of the container when I finished it. We also didn't get the pitas that were supposed to be included in the meal. Unfortunately we probably would give some other Greek restaurants a try before returning to GRCO as the quality seems to have either gone down or is inconsistent. read more

Walked in, paid more than $20, got a Lamb Souvlaki Dinner + 1 extra sauce container that looks like the photos below (see 2 photos attached). 4/5 Taste - Rice was the best, lamb beats dry test and slightly above average flavour 2/5 Value - Portion is extremely small for a "Greek" style restaurant. For $1 over half the price of this I could get 3x the portion at Garrison's in Niagara Falls. When you are running your food business with products in the high price range, then you cannot be cutting your QUANTITY and PRICE. It's gotta be big quantity and if you need it, raise the damn price! When you got questionable quantity and above average price, it's going to get you the first time customers trying it out, but not many returning unless they don't care about the value and don't know any competition. Stood around for almost half an hour to see 4 frontline staff working inefficiently even though the salad is PRE-PACKED from an outside vendor. -1 cook who seems to be the only person who knows what she's doing -1 salad girl who has to pause between every other task as if cannot plan ahead -1 packing boy who take an average of 20 seconds to pack a single box of fries, place with receipt and onto the waiting area table -1 manager who spend 90% of time looking in every directions micro-managing, standing in middle of everyone and 10% actually helping do something. 2 people were confused which was my order when it came to giving me my food. A suggestion: just put a giant circle on any walk-in orders. 2 other people that were walk-ins also were not smoothly handed off. And they forgot the extra sauce I ordered. In Summary: incompetent people running a slick looking joint with inefficient processes in place and product/service value that would not survive a competitive food landscape like Markham/Richmond Hill, but this is Aurora. read more

Best Greek food in Aurora at reasonable prices. Quick and friendly service and the food is always hot and fresh. If you are looking for good quick greek food, look no further. A new greek place to grab a quick lunch. There is seating available and the restaurant is very clean and modern looking. The staff are super friendly and happy. I ordered the chicken yeero pita with fries. The pita was soft and fluffy, the toppings and tzatziki were good as well. The only thing that would have liked more is if I tasted the chicken more. I felt like the feta cheese and tzatziki sauce were too overpowering which made the chicken taste a little unflavourful. The fries were fried perfectly crisp - and they give you a lot! This place was really good, however I think there is change in owners, and now the portions are much smaller the potatos are definitely not Greek style. I ordered the gyro and it was sliced into strips and not much of it. The chicken was also very small portions. The salad was very good. I decided to try GRCo Grill for a change over my usual Greek food fare. I quite enjoyed it! Service was excellent, prices were reasonable and the chicken souvlaki dinner was quite good! The accompanying salad was fresher and more tasty than with comparable dinners at competing restaurants. I also liked the flavour of the tzatziki which complemented my meal just perfectly. You know I had to try dessert! The baklava was decent too! I will most definitely return for dinner (might dine in this time; it's a casual, quick-stop kind of restaurant). read more

The food is not bad, I have had better Greek. My main issue was with the customer service. I came in with a coworker and our client who is severely Autistic and who could be a bit loud at times. As soon as we walked in the girl behind the counter gave us an annoyed look. After we ordered our food, we sat down and waited. My client began becoming a bit anxious as that is part of her disability. Her voice was becoming louder, but both my coworker and I were trying to calm her down. One of the men behind the counter looked at us with disgust and gestured to us to keep it down. If that had been a child screaming that would not have been the case. Everyone is entitled to enjoy a meal wether they have a disability or not. We will never be returning to this establishment and I will not recommend it to anyone. read more

Great place! Bought lunch for the construction crew working on our house and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Portions are huge and fries are nice and thin. I ordered the pork and chicken gyros (pita wrap) with fries and a Greek salad and also the gyro poutine. The gyro meat is flavourful and some pieces are crispy while others are nice and tender. Order it Greek style and get fries in the wraps. The jalapeño tzatziki is pretty awesome and did I mention the fries are thin cut and crispy? Salad was also a good portion, fresh and with lots of cheese, but could do with a bit more dressing. Poutine was ENORMOUS and came with gyro meat, tzatziki, and feta cheese - it was delicious but share with a friend I couldn't finish it. Prices are fair, $12 for a pita wrap combo. read more

Extremely open, clean and inviting space. Perfect service. Everyone is definately a pro and everything looks top notch. Very nicely branded shop all around. We ordered two wraps (pork, lamb), and the chicken fingers for the kiddo. Taste A+++. The lamb was soft and pork perfectly spiced. Will be back for sure! So I've been here a few times. And the last 2 times, I've decided to neverrrrr go there again! I used to always order lamb souvlaki wrap. Super good. The last time I ordered a few months ago, they messed up my order & didn't give me things I paid for (always did take out). Today, I decided to stop in and get a wrap. One for myself & one for my husband. Instead of me getting the usual lamb souvlaki wrap. I decided to go with chicken ... got my husband the lamb. Once I got home, I dug into my meal.. excited. The first bite I took was of a piece of chicken that came out the wrap. Ate it with no problems. Took a bite into my wrap & I noticed that the chicken was NOT COOKED inside at all!!!! Like it was not soft . It was disgusting . I am writing this now because I'm starting to feel sick right now (nauseous) my husband didn't finish his , since I didn't get a chance to eat .. I thought I'd take a bite out of his... the lamb was super dry. It was horrible. Only good thing was the fries and Tzatziki. I will NEVER order from here again! If I get food poisoning I will be calling the health inspector. Terrible terrible terrible. I never write reviews but this had me so disgusted, I feel as if to go in and tell them all about themselves!!! read more

First time but not our last! This authentic Greek cuisine is made quick, yet is simply delicious. The pita is made daily on the premises. Had the chicken souvlaki with rice, Greek salad and pita bread on the side. Reminiscent to some of the finer Greek restaurants on 'the Danforth' without the higher cost and paid parking. Service is super friendly and yes - their proud Greek Canadians. The only caveat is it's geared towards take-out (no delivery as of yet) therefore don't expect any real plates or fancy cutlery, although there are 10 tables for dining. Never the less, definitely worth it, if your into fresh healthy food! read more
