I was not impressed at all. The bread almost looks like toy bread, the meat and well all of the toppings were lacking. I asked for cucumber and on a giant sized sandwich there were 6 total slices, one thin layer that didn't totally cover the bread. Was the food edible? Yes. My husband enjoyed his slightly more fancy sandwich. But we paid $40 for a giant and regular sandwich, 3 bags of chips, and 2 drinks. But I was not impressed at all.

The chocolate chip classic is good but average. The sugar cookie had a dollop of icing but not even a circle. The photo on the website shows the icing should be a circle and spread out evenly over the cookie. This was definitely not the right amount of icing, it was not even 1/3 icing and pretty sure it should have been way more. It looked like my toddler put on the icing but in a stingy way. I wanted the oatmeal chocolate chip cookie but I didn't get it. How a cookie store can screw up an order that is electronic and literally has a ticket that reads oatmeal is a shame. Very very disappointing. The other two cookies I did receive were not worth mentioning they were not good.

My boyfriend and I went in thinking to ourselves, "we'll just try it for a few weeks", and we we've had our meals weekly from here for the past few months! We love it! We used to order from Freshly before and there really is no comparison. These meals taste home-cooked, while Freshly truly tasted like freezer meals. I also love the way I feel when I eat the food. The food feels fresh and wholesome in my body! I will say that the meals vary in size. We opted for the low carbohydrate 4 oz meal plan option so naturally, the meals are rather light. Some meals are a bit on the smaller side and I get hungry again in 90 minutes or so while some meals are larger and I am unable to eat it in one sitting. I do think some of the meals are lacking in salt/seasoning, but I just shake a little bit of "Everything but the Bagel Seasoning" from Trader Joe's and it does the job! The meals I enjoy most are the meals that include a sauce or meals with flavors that I know I enjoy. I do find that the meals that are simply a protein (ex: chicken) and a side of vegetables with no sauce are almost always dry. Overall, I highly recommend this service! There is such a variety in the foods week to week and day to day. The food is well cooked and tastes of quality. It feels good in my body and most importantly, I feel good knowing that I am eating good food!
