So I rented an e-bike in Stillwater and carted myself out to this little trailside food truck, and it did not disappoint. The BLT was amazing. The fries were tasty. And the seasonal lemonades really tied the meal together. I will definitely be back.

There are cones out to remind everyone to correctly social distance. Love the food here! My choice was the "Light Lunch" and I chose the 1/2 chicken salad and fresh berry cup as well as my fav-the basil strawberry nectar of the biking gods. I had a nibble (or two) of the BLT-regretting I didn't pick that delicious combo of Bibb lettuce, nice tomatoes, thick bacon & an incredible flavored mayo. Another couple got gelato & I could hear them from my correct social distance saying how good it was! Fun food truck along the Gateway Trail. Look for the small sign along the trail, or better yet-let your nose find this gem! There is a very welcoming feel here! I would recommend her strawberry-basil drink! Apple cider was warming today! Cheddar brat was very good (made from local meat market). The bruschetta was delicious & crunchy!

The menu on the truck was updated with correct inventory and ordering was easy. Pro tip- there's a cash discount! I ordered a large pizza to go half cheese half pepperoni and was satisfied. It was a nice thin crust and came out of the oven hot. Tons of cheese, cracked red pepper, and silverware available, but you had to ask for napkins which was odd.

Excellent Italian eats on wheels - 5 stars!…read more Mario's is now one of my favorite food trucks. I caught up with them today at Aegir Brewing in Elk River, MN. I sampled 3 items from Mario's, an appetizer (Ciabatta Parm Bites), a small 8" pizza (Meat Eaters), and a dessert (Classic Cannoli). Every bite of my food was wonderful. And judging from the number of people lining up to get food, many other people agree with me. The employees at the brewery were also grabbing food and raving about Mario's. Yum! As a final note (to avoid confusion), this truck is NOT the same business as the bricks n' mortar restaurant in Watertown. The truck is an independent business that simply licensed the name from the restaurant several years ago. I had a nice conversation with the owner and he explained it to me. I don't hand out many 5 star reviews but Mario's deserves it. I highly recommend trying this truck if it's in your area. Thumbs up! -Maxx

As evidenced by the name, Tiki Tim's focuses mainly on island inspired cuisine (save for the fried pickles). Their menu is fairly modest in size, comprised of Tiki (shrimp and crab) cakes, fish tacos, a Hawaiian influenced pulled pork sandwich and a smattering of side dishes. While the choices are limited, they've all been quite good. The fish tacos are the highlight for me, with generous pieces of crispy and not-too-greasy fish, but you really can't wrong with anything (bring a knife and fork for the pork sandwich). The converted big blue Chevy is easy to spot on the streets, the service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. Given that we're about as far from the coasts as possible and a long haul from Hawaii, it's nice to see someone aspiring to bring the tropical mindset to the streets of the Twin Cities.
