Boise Riverside RV Park - About 9:30, if there's a home game, you might not have quiet sleep for fifteen minutes, but it's a fun diversion.

The camp store has a few things but restaurants, grocery, and coffee were all within a five minute drive. The park staff and office staff were both friendly, and lead you to your campsite. If you're passing through, its's a cute, clean park. Some residential sites appeared to be long-term but had tidy campsites with potted plant instead of rust or clutter. Passing through or dropping anchor, It was, and appears to be, a pleasant stay. We were able to reserve by phone and speak to a human, rather than filling out an online request (no thanks). The cute little store had camping supplies and cold drinks, but no beer or wine, so bring it with you and don't act like a rookie.

Please read the BAD reviews of this place before booking! My husband and I did but this was the…read moreonly place that had an opening for us at the time so we ended up here. We hoped to have a good experience and steer clear of Management's unprofessionalism and wrath but after about 6 months we ended up with a notice to vacate on our door for "defamation". We hadn't done anything wrong, followed park rules and kept our spot nice, but we were friends with former employees of the park and families that management evicted. We attempted to clear it up and after talking to manager Toni, we were told we could stay in the park. After asking for a written retraction and proof that we could stay multiple times, we were given excuse after excuse that had nothing to do with us. Toni said the owners of this park and the owners of the park the other families had moved to were hearing rumors that involved mine and my husbands names, which is just a flat out lie. We were asked to leave over being associated with families they had illegally evicted. These families were treated poorly and unjustly by management as well. They didn't like that we knew that so they tried to get rid of us. When we were not given a written retraction of the notice to leave after the 4th time asking, we put in our 30 days. They had a 30 day notice slip of paper with our names already prepared when I went into the office. I asked for the owners contact information and was not given it. Instead, Patrick called my husband and threatened with out threatening that he didn't want to make our stay in Idaho any harder than it had to be. My husband responded saying that if they tried to black list us and spread rumors about us to other parks in the area, we were going to seek legal action. They tried asking several times where we were going to move to and we did not tell them. That alone was absolutely unprofessional but it got worse. A week later it was time for us to check out. I went into the office to let them know we were leaving, I was dealing with the main office gal who is actually very nice. I asked again who I could speak with if we felt our issue was not resolved. She politely told me they do not give out owners contact information, but here comes Patrick who starts interrupting by saying the owners already know the situation and they don't interact with park guests. I responded that I did not care if he's telling me this, I will be having a conversation with the owners myself. He then goes on to say "We let you have extra stuff at your site, we let you have the motorcycle, your cargo trailer" blah blah blah...which is all true...but they also let a bunch of other people have these as well so we were not given any particular special treatment like he was trying to make it seem. We also offered multiple times to move the cargo trailer into an onsite storage spot and they declined our offer each time. At this point my husband calls me and I walk out of the office. In this area, we have had multiple run-in's with others who have experienced poor treatment from them. Toni and Patrick are bullies, unprofessional and manipulative. If they don't like you, they will force you out and lie to your face. They both need to be removed from the park. It is one thing to ask families to leave your park, it is another to be threatening and call other parks to lie to them and tell them not to rent to you. In the 4 years we have been living the full time rv life, we have NEVER been treated anywhere close to this poorly in the parks we've lived in up and down the west coast. Absolutely despicable.

The water was moving pretty good, if I had to guess somewhere around 1.75 to 2.5 mph, but I was still able to get a workout and my best Mile split time was returning in the current, I took a lot of pictures along the way. I paddle all over the country, and in many other countries, I like to record my Paddle, especially first time, and transfer it from my Garmin watch to the relive app. This app creates a video of the trail and any pictures taken along the way or Geos stamped on the trail while you watch the video. It's really amazing. This park was clean, self service for Park entry if the booth is closed. Nice restrooms. Apple parking and it was mowed later in the week so it really looked nice. It was my first time river rafting so I was a bit nervous but Im glad I did it…read more We booked the half day one for beginners. There were a ton of people in our time schedule, but they managed everyone well. It looks like it's about 6ish adults/raft + the guide. Be prepared to paddle hard depending on who's in your group. They provide life vests and a water jacket - the water is COLD in June. You don't need to worry too much about your glasses falling off, maybe your hat but all our sunnies stayed in place with no problem. We opted for the morning slot (100% would do it again). Benett brought the ENERGY at 9am. He gave everyone a speech about the area and safety tips - including what to do if you fall overboard. No one on our trip fell out unwillingly. They had a few spots for you to jump in and swim. We were lucky enough to get Benett as our guide as well. He let us ride in the front if we were brave enough to! I will be recommending this spot to anyone visiting the area- if there's a way to recommend a guide, I would recommend Benett as well. Thank you for making our trip memorable!

You park at their facility, which has lockers and dressing rooms, as well as food and drink. Everyone was very nice. You are fitted with a lifevest, offered the use of a splash guard pullover and water socks, and then taken by bus up to Banks to unload the rafts and start your trip. You get to help the guide move the raft from the trailer to the water. I'm detailing all this because this was my first river rafting trip. Our guide was Tucker, and he was the best! He fitted us with our lifejackets and splash guards, and then came and talked to the four of us prior to boarding the bus, giving a lot of valuable information. Once on the river, he was very good about explaining what to expect, and giving detailed information about each rapid and other landmarks as well. He was very knowledgable, friendly, polite, and engaging. Tucker made my first experience thoroughly enjoyable. My wife and our friends also enjoyed the trip immensely. I would definitely do another trip with Cascade Raft & Kayak!
