I sent Pacific Coast Memorials a couple of emails (one the day after we received the grave marker and the second email over 1 week after I hadn't heard back from them). Now, Pacific Coast Memorials insists that IT IS the color I ordered but as everyone can see - it isn't. Pacific Coast Memorials has NEVER offered to replace it even though they have a written policy that reads, "WE WILL CORRECT OUR ERRORS AT NO COST TO YOU..." They've been fighting with me since JANUARY 2025 and will not refund my money. They have told me that the only way they will refund my money is if the product is returned back to them at MY EXPENSE. Does the color of the grave marker I received look like the Lk. Superior Green on their site? ****On May 5, 2025 - Paul responded to my original message and here is my reply to his response: -NOT TRUE PAUL. You have not ONCE called or emailed me to let me know you want to resolve this issue. -If the invoice you sent was the Lk. Superior Green color that I ordered then why is the stone I received a different color? Look at the pictures. Come by in person and take a look for yourself. Come to the cemetery and prove it's the same color. -I asked your company many times if I would receive the Green stone as all the samples you sent me were on a grayish/blue/black color stone (similar to the one I received) but YOU assured me that I would receive the color I ordered. I trusted you and here we are, with the WRONG COLOR. -When the stone was delivered to the CEMETERY (because why would I want it delivered to me?), of course they installed it. You knew that's what the cemetery would do. You knew it would be impossible for me to send it back once it had been installed. But it doesn't change the fact that IT IS NOT the LK. SUPERIOR GREEN I ordered, and that YOU MADE AN ERROR and DON'T WANT TO MAKE GOOD on your part. -And that's just it, it was YOUR ERROR and according to your policy, YOU need to fix YOUR ERROR at YOUR expense. It wasn't my fault I received the wrong color from you. -You want to do good, FIX IT. Replace it with the REAL Lk. Superior Green or just refund me my money back plus the cost for hiring an outside vendor.

They were sympathetic, professional, and made everything as easy as possible for us from the very beginning to the very end. Their attention to detail was above and beyond our expectations and made the memorial service everything we wanted it to be. We had a reception after the memorial service, using the catering provided by Schaefer-Shipman. We were very pleased with the food, the presentation, and the service. The facility is a very nice place. We could not be happier with the service provided by Schaefer-Shipman and would recommend them highly!

Allen Ice, the funeral director, was nothing short of caring, helpful and professional...but not in a business-like manner. More in a family-member way. We could not have gone through what we just did without his hand holding, great communication, caring and helpful ways. Fortunately, we've never been through this before and didn't know the first thing to do. We did not pick this funeral home, it picked us because I believe it's the only one in Marysville. But Allen truly cares and is good at what he does. He directed us from the first step inside until the end. What an emotional thing to go through. However, with a special person like Allen to help you...it was a lot easier. We also had our services at this location and it was more special, more beautiful, more sincere and professional than expected. It was a top notch special memory that we will hold on to forever. Thank you Allen and staff.

Losing someone special is always tough, as I lost my best friend and/or sister ( Roz ) in August. The cancer was pretty tough and finally got to her in the long run. But now her pain is over and she's up resting now above us all in a much better place. I will always miss her. I had gone to several cemeteries in the general Seattle or North Seattle areas and met only one person who just stuck out and really made me feel comfortable and was absolutely great to work with. Rose spent a lot of time with me not only finding just the right placement location for my sister Roz but ensuring the whole process was done so nicely and professionally by both Rose and all the staff out at Floral Hills. My sister now lays to rest in a Very Unique & Beautiful Little Spot in between some extremely large trees with a beautiful view down over the huge fountain area there at Floral Hills. I would love to give a very Special Thank You to Rose Hodge who was our family service advisor and director through one of my hardest times in my life, the putting to rest my sister Roz. She caused problems and released Information she certainly should NOT have which was used in a LEGAL CASE. I was the sole heir/next of kin to my passed family member and she released information to someone else within the family who did NOT have permission to be apart of this in any way. This woman does NOT have your privacy in mind. I wish I never went here. She took orders and requests from this family member. This family member had NO prior paperwork and absolutely NO authorization with this situation, and this company or any permission anywhere, even outside of this company. I am blown away by the unprofessionalism. Never again. And do not recommend.

Let me start by saying this was the first time I've ever had to arrange funeral services for…read moresomeone. My mom had stated she wanted to be cremated, but we hadn't gotten around to choosing a place yet before she passed. When I called it was not during business hours so a dispatcher took down my information and said someone should be in contact with me in the next 45 minutes. I was calling to get a price quote. Since my mom didn't want anything fancy or a service (all she wanted was for the family to get together and enjoy a meal) my family and I just wanted the basics. When someone called back they were already on their way to pick her up. Believing that I was clear to the other person on the phone that I wanted a price quote this took me by surprise. Are you even allowed to say no at that point? Rather than cause trouble I just went with it. Later that day ***** contacted me to let me know that they picked up my mother and what type of cremation services were available. She was very professional and all business. Not an ounce of humanity during the phone call. We set up a meeting for later that afternoon to fill out paperwork. When my brother and I met with ***** in the office. She again was all business. It would of been nice to hear someone anyone at this point to have offered some condolences. Most of the paperwork was finished except one form that my other siblings that live out of state needed to sign. My brother and I left and thanked her for her time. Later that afternoon I received two phone calls to clarify some details. One of which was my siblings names from out of state. Because at least 3 out of four children needed to sign (two are out of state), she asked me who was the fourth child. I was shocked that she really couldn't remember that my brother was with me and had already signed the paper. Really? Overall, everything was handled correctly and we received my mom's ashes and death certificate within the allotted time. So, four stars for cost, three for the timeliness, and one to two stars for no compassion. I know that they may see this all the time, but at least act like you have some sort of sympathy.
