I've stayed at a lot of hostels. This one is creme de la creme.
The hostel is beach-front in a beautiful Puerto Rican town. We were greeted by a smiling host and warm guests as soon as we parked in the driveway. Everyone was excited to introduce themselves and find out where we were from, as this hostile attracts people from all over. We put our things down and asked for dinner recommendation. Sara suggested a local restaurant/bar down the road. GREAT RECOMMENDATION.
The next few days were spend hanging out with the other travelers, surfing, hiking, exploring, and just hanging out. This is a great hostel to stay at if you're traveling alone, as there's always someone willing to include you in their next adventure. The atmosphere is warm and exciting, and there's a lot of interaction with the locals. There's a slack line for playing, hammocks for lounging, dogs for fetching, and beach for relaxing...all within the grounds of the hostel.
Somehow, the Hostile Hostel has managed to gather all the coolest people from all walks of life under one roof. My last night at the hostel, everyone grabbed dinner at the Thai restaurant in town. How many hostels have you stayed at where EVERYONE went out together? This place is a gem. Don't miss out. read more
