I ordered a turkey sandwich with a Joe favorite smoothie and both were really good. The sandwich was fresh. flavorful turkey, and crisp veggies that gave it a nice crunch. The smoothie was creamy, refreshing. Everything tasted fresh and the portion size was satisfying. Definitely a nice place for a quick meal. The customer service here was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcome right away. They were patient while taking my order and made sure everything was correct. My sister and I stopped by after the turkey trot for a bagel! We both opted for the sesame seed with plain cream cheese and she also got a coconut smoothie. They were a little busy when we came in, but we were able to quickly place our orders with the nice cashier. Seating is a bit limited on the inside but they seem to have outdoor seating too. Our bagels were nice and toasty which is great! It definitely satisfied my bagel craving. My only complaint is that I do wish they added more cream cheese to the bagel. My sister's coconut smoothie was pretty good and we will definitely be coming back for them once the weather gets warmer! read more

Great place to get your bagel sandwiches! They have such a huge menu, I had no idea they also serve banh mi sandwiches and boba. This was our first time here, we got Devine's Wine and Ellie's spicy bagel. The sandwiches are huge and we were definitely stuffed. The jungle juice smoothie was perfect to split and so yummy, would definitely recommend. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and all areas were super clean. Everyone was very friendly and the food was made in less than 10 minutes. Definitely stop by! read more

Was just driving by after having stopped at the bank and decided to pop in since it was new. Took a couple of bagels home to toast and add cream cheese as well as the bacon/egg/cheese bagel sandwich on an everything bagel. The service was great - everyone was super friendly and helpful with recommendations. Unfortunately, the bagels are just average - they were not significantly better than the bagels you can buy in bulk from Costco. There's another shop in downtown with better bagels but I will forever miss Ethel's (RIP). The bagel sandwich was also quite average. The bacon was thin - almost like the microwaveable pre-cooked stuff you can buy at the grocery store - and the egg lacked seasoning. Overall, quite a lackluster sandwich, especially for nearly $10. I wish them the very best and hope they are successful, but this just isn't the spot for me. read more

Don't let first impressions fool you! When we first arrived at Grateful Bagel, I'll admit, we were skeptical. The place has serious "hole in the wall" vibes, with handwritten paper signs Scotch-taped to the walls and windows, minimal decor, and an outdoor seating area that could definitely use a sweep. But wow, I am SO glad we didn't let that stop us. We split two bagels: the chicken pesto and the egg, cheese, and sausage, both on plain bagels. The chicken pesto was messy, but in the absolute best way: flavorful, juicy, and packed with taste. The sausage egg bagel was also fantastic, especially the eggs, which they cook fresh on a flat grill, so much better than the usual microwaved patty you get elsewhere. Service was friendly and fast. They even have hot sauce options (which we always appreciate). The menu is super diverse, everything from banh mi, smoothies, and boba tea to coffee and classic bagels. A surprising amount of variety for such a humble-looking spot. This is officially our new go-to bagel place. Don't judge this one by its cover, it's a hidden gem in the making. read more

Today we just went and I had a hair in my croissant and I wanted Swiss cheese. Does this look like Swiss? When they had their intro smoothie special (buy 2, get 1 free), we were there and the lady who seemed like the owner didn't offer it to us. And did I tell you on my 3rd bite, there was a hair? We always go in a group of 3. She just ignored us when we asked. It was literally the day before and she was so aloof and had no recognition of her customers. I am a very big fan of the grateful bagel in downtown Santa Rosa& Sebastopol and im very devastated to say that I cannot say the same with this new location opened in Petaluma, I've been here on various occasions and each time its a different person making the orders and they're always talking on the phone on their AirPods and get my orders wrong and miss charge me for the food I order& take forever and they're always rude and look at me like im the one in the wrong. read more

Service was nice, the man at the counter made sure our americano was how we wanted it. The only issue was that he seemed to be the only person there so service was slow because he was grilling the eggs, meat, toasting the bagel, pretty much doing everything. There were quite a few customers in a 5-10 minute time span as well, so having a few more staff in the morning may make things run smoother. Restaurant itself seems to lack a bit of indoor seating but overall it was clean and not too crowded. The bagel themselves were flavorful and were great! Probably wouldn't come here if you're in a rush, but if you have the time to wait or sit down, this would be a nice place to check out. read more

Amazing food and such a welcoming atmosphere! We drove up from San Jose and ordered two breakfast burritos, a smoothie, and a bagel. Everything was delicious our picky toddler absolutely loved the bagel and smoothie, and even said the bagel was better than the ones we get at home. The burritos impressed us adults just as much. We'll definitely be back next week! I also want to mention how thoughtful the kids' table is. It's so nice to walk into a restaurant that's genuinely welcoming toward children. I said to the guy how can that be $13.47 when each bagel is two dollars and then you add cream cheese it's another two dollars. He said I don't know.
