I came here for some volunteer work. Basically this is a teacher's supply store, where teachers can…read morecome and buy classroom supplies, at a very discounted price. They do have a lot of other things however, such as office supplies, and there's actually no restriction that only teachers are allowed to come here and shop; you could potentially just be a college or high school student and come here for physical supplies that might help your studies. The items here are really discounted quite a lot, so you'll definitely get a good deal. However I'd maybe go so far as to say that there's too much stuff here. I don't think this will be a problem if you are a shopper, but from the perspective of the management, there might be a bit too much stuff here for you guys to handle. Maybe you could consider eliminating one category of stuff. This place is also affiliated by the arts and crafts studio, as it's run by the same person and uses the same supplies https://www.yelp.com/biz/play-your-art-out-ballwin

I went this past Tuesday - it was the perfect rainy day activity! From the moment I walked in, everyone was nothing but friendly, helpful and accommodating. One of the ladies showed me around. Apparently they had just come back from a workshop and learned some new techniques. I fell in love with one of them and decided to do it for one of my pieces. It involved layering four different colors and using paper leaf cut-outs. I think it took me bout an hour to complete! Such a relaxing process and so much fun! I also painted a small plate freehand. That probably took about another hour. Throughout my time there, the ladies would occasionally check in to make sure I was doing alright. And they were always available if I had any questions.
