We came to a party at Glazed and Confused on a Thursday evening. We were given some quick instructions and the kids were able to pick an alternative item if they didn't want to paint an ice cream cone. The host was pretty hands off after that they weren't actively helping get colors for the kids who were all really young. There were only two people painting other than the party at the time. They also didn't tell the parents throwing the party that it would be over two weeks to get the items back until the day of the party and that one person would need to pick them all up. The kids had a fun experience but it definitely could have gone more smoothly and been more organized. read more

This place is a former shell of itself. Hardly any pottery to choose from, ridiculous pricing compared to other places in the area, and they police you on the amount of paint you use, and there isn't many colors to choose from. When asking for more, I felt like I was an inconvenience. No water for paint brushes out, had to ask for that. Asked for painter's tape, they didn't have any. What kind of art store doesn't have any art supplies? Good luck staying in business. read more

Horrible. We have been going to this place since it opened. We haven't been recently and I feel like I know why. Charging a $7 fee per piece is ridiculous. The selection is bare minimum and over priced. I get that covid was involved but this is not what it use to be. The paints are not taken care of, even the writer bottles are all dried up. We know 5 year olds don't understand what bongs are but some parents could take offense to that. I dont have a problem with it but i would like to them to be separated from the princesses and Assorted banks to paint. I could say more about how run down this place is but I'll leave it "as never coming back" which is really sad for being such a nostalgic place. read more

Selection was very scarce, my grandkids painted 2 plates and a small tree. The plates both had pieces of kiln, is what I was told on them when they were fired, their solution was to sand it down to the clear glaze and give it back to me! I paid $90 for this and not happy!! I will not be back, go somewhere else!! They charge a $7 fee per person and then the charge for the item, then had 3 different taxes. supplies were minimal. clumpy, some dried up. BEWARE!! read more

I went on a date with my partner. They had a cute slection of prices to choose from. All the paints are in individual jars so you can take them to your table with you, this was super convient because we didn't have to worry about running out or grabbing too much. The owner was very nice. We had a great time and can't wait to get our finished pieces. We'll definitely go again :) read more

The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you're not sure what to do when you get there, they walk you through it and explain how to pick your paints etc. I use my mug I made from here all the time and it makes me smile knowing I had fun making it. read more

Service was extremely non-existent. There were a lot of people there though. Selection was extremely limited and the prices were outrageous. It a 6 week time, a simple little turtle went from $12 to $19. The inventory of paints were non-existent. We brought up 12 different empty, near empty, and completely dried out colors and they had no restock. When we inquired why, we were told by the owner/manager that no one let him know. If it's your place of business, wouldn't you check nightly to take inventory of out of stock, dried out and low bottles? There are workers, but in the end, it is your business to double check inventory. There were at least 25 people painting and at least 10 we overheard with the same issues. Our kids finished, we took our pieces back to the shelf and went to Pottery Hollow. If you're going to go here, walk in, pick your piece and triple check that they have enough implant inventory to finish your project. We hope you have a much better experience than our family. Before you go, check out the calendar on their website because a couple times a month they offer $1 studio fee day (as opposed to the usual fee of $5). I went this past Tuesday - it was the perfect rainy day activity! From the moment I walked in, everyone was nothing but friendly, helpful and accommodating. One of the ladies showed me around. Apparently they had just come back from a workshop and learned some new techniques. I fell in love with one of them and decided to do it for one of my pieces. It involved layering four different colors and using paper leaf cut-outs. I think it took me bout an hour to complete! Such a relaxing process and so much fun! I also painted a small plate freehand. That probably took about another hour. Throughout my time there, the ladies would occasionally check in to make sure I was doing alright. I definitely would not recommend this business. They lost our pottery it was supposed to be a Mother's Day gift from my grandson's mom. The place is dirty, The staff does not seem to want to be there. The hours of operations say Saturday 11 AM, we went at 11 AM, waited for 15 minutes and no one showed up. After years of wanting to go I finally took my kids. I'm glad I made it early because it got so busy people were waiting for tables. The selection of pottery pieces was insane. It took me forever to try to decide on what to paint...was a little more expensive then I expected but we will just be better prepared the next time. I pass by Glazed & Confused daily on my way to the gym in Oakville so when I caught a deal for them on Groupon, I called up my lady friends and we quickly bought it. We were not disappointed! We had a pottery day a few months ago and weren't too happy with the selection the place had or the colors, etc. Upon walking into Glazed & Confused you are welcomed with an array of options, colors and everything to make you feel like it is going to be a great place to spend a few hours. They had a good selection to choose from, I chose a square salad bowl that turned into my Disney bowl. The colors I wished to have were plentiful and they were very attending, ready to print out anything you needed as a stencil. According to things they gave us and their websites they have ladies nights and other fun nights that I think I may try to attend in the future to paint more. I am excited to see my finish product this weekend! read more

We went to do the vintage Christmas tree event. We went and did the painting.... when we were finished, we were told to pick up the trees on the 12th, which was about a week later. We waited until the following day to call since we hadn't heard from them on the scheduled day. We knew it was a big event and that they probably were behind, no big deal, but we didn't get a call or any other type of communication. When we called they said the trees weren't ready. They told us it would be the following day. The following day came and still no tree or call. We finally just went to get them(8 days after they said they'd be finished) and were surprised to see they still weren't finished. When we did collect them, we realized that they had given one of our trees to someone else and gave us theirs, I guess. We spent a ton of money, we didn't get what we paid for at the time they said and no communication!! Any time we called they were rude. When we were there, there were 2 ladies that were super nice, but the result of the whole process left us unsatisfied and annoyed. My daughter doesn't have her tree and it was a painful process that should've been easy. Get it together for next year and don't make promises you can't keep. We won't be back. read more

I'd never been, but had driven by enough to know where it was when I saw it come up on Groupon. I ended up using my Groupon solely on pottery, because A. There was literally nothing to choose from that wasn't holiday or religious (no plates or mugs or bowls, really?) B. They use two different brands of glaze, which made it nearly impossible to figure out what colors were where, and which samples went with those colors. And C. ONE girl was manning the entire shop, while two others were in the back watching Youtube videos (will this let me upload the picture I snapped of them?) Service being extremely slow wasn't the one girl's fault, she shouldn't have been stuck with an entire shop, alone. So after driving by it for years, I went in, bought a ridiculous piece of pottery, to use my groupon, but ended up just taking it to a better laid out and more attentive shop. read more

I took my 9 year old cousin here and she just loved it! We both painted a plate together, giggling and laughing the entire time. This place had a TON of stuff to choose from, and you can even do mosaic. After we painted our stuff we handed them over to be fired. It takes a week before you can pick up your items, which is the only downside I can see as it did cause a bit of my cousin's temper to show because she wanted to take her plate home that day. I think of that as being my fault because I hadn't inquired about that ahead of time. This is a great place to take artistic kids and an even better place to strike up a bond with them. I planned a mother/daughter night here with a friend and our girls who are 18 and 14. We had the best time. I love painting the pottery because it is so relaxing. They supply all the paint, the brushes, the pottery, the designs, and will even print something off the internet for you. The staff is super helpful and the owner is amazing. We were running a little behind and since she had a paint night that evening, she let us stay and finish up. When you're done...best part, they clean it all up. We have come here for Bridal Showers, birthday parties, scout badges, and girl's night. I love it and I will be back. I had my daughter's birthday party at this store. They were very helpful when I booked the date. But on the day of the event they didn't have enough pottery for the party they ran out of inventory and I had to select higher end items that were in stock. I spent more than I had planned or discussed with the sales associate. The plate they provided for the birthday girl had the wrong name on it. A great store if you want to paint your own. But would suggest not to have a party. very disappoionted. read more
