All the teachers and staff care for the littles as if they were their own and they always keep them safe, protected and loved. The owner, Chris, is one of the most loving, caring, and compassionate people I have ever met and I would trust her or any of her staff with my sons life on any given day!!! The cost is well below other childcare facilities in the area. A definite plus considering you are getting a wonderful price and not sacrificing quality of care for the most precious parts of your life!!! I am beyond thankful to have found somewhere to care for and love my son just as I would when I could not be there. I will never take him anywhere else! My older son went to a glass mosaics class over the summer. Both Marcia and Rebecca are state certified art teachers. I know they have worked in the public schools and have an excellent reputation because it was a school teacher that recommended them to me. They are very patient and recognize the artist in all of us. They offer several different classes and for all age ranges. I know they do private parties for ladies nights out and birthdays, but they also have classes for homeschool groups and pre-k's. On school holidays, they'll only a special project. In the evenings they have mostly grade school level classes in sculpting, mixed media, painting, and later in the evening they offer manga and more advanced sketching classes. You can pay by the class in some cases, or by the session, or for the whole term. Payment can all be handled online, which I really appreciate. All in all, this little studio has been the perfect fit for my son who is into comics and we don't have to drive over to COCA in St. Louis anymore. I feel like this studio has serious enough artists to keep him engaged through high school.

I gave this school my most prized possession, my 4 year old daughter. I wanted for her to have the…read moresame summer experience I had when I attended New City School as a kid. I can tell you now that it's not the same. I dropped her off Monday morning at 8:45 to a playground with 100 kids. I didn't get to meet her camp counselor, and I was not able to enter the school due to Covid. I was okay with that, and nervous at the same time but again, I had attended there as a kid for several summers and my daughter has been in school since she was 2yo. She is friendly and delightful child so I thought I was making the right decision. By 9:30 am I was getting a call while at work. The director called me and told me that my daughter was having a rough morning, and trying to adjust. We picked her up early. The next day I called around 1pm and they said "they hadn't heard anything, so she must be fine." Thursday morning we dropped her off at 8:45, before my husband could make it to work, we were receiving a call saying that she was crying, and we need to pick her up right away and that this would HAVE to be her last day. The director told me that she didn't have the staff or the time to accommodate my child. They had 3 teachers to several 3 & 4 year olds. As a mother I was distraught. I couldn't believe that they had through my thrown my 4 yo out of summer camp. I wrote this to say that I am very disappointed in what this school has become. Also, I feel as if they didn't have the staff, why would they take on more than they could handle? So if your child needs special accommodations, or more attention than the average child. This is not the school because they clearly don't have the time. If I could have given zero stars I would have. I sent my daughter here with the intentions of her attending the school for kindergarten, but that won't happen. They made my child feel little, and they made me feel horrible as a parent.
