We eventually withdrew him from his local public school and found GFA. It worked out really well. He found a great group of friends and was academically challenged. The teachers really cared about him and despite its small size, there were enough extra curriculars and clubs to keep him engaged. I strongly recommend this school if the public school is not a good fit for your child or you are looking for them to be challenged. The Teachers go out of their way to create classes to meet the needs of the students, and the results and college acceptances prove that.

We were able to do an art project side by side and drink hot cocoa. When he was done with his project, one of the owners organized some board games with the kids that he was very into. The party was small, with 5 kids total I think. You can tell they are comfortable working with kids, which you would think is a given, but you would be surprised how many places we have been to and they are not. They were kind and we had a great experience. My 5 y/o said "I LOVED it there!" They just opened in November so show them some love. Great addition to the neighborhood.

We had a throwback party at this location and were surrounded by really cool artwork. I plan to come back with friends to paint. The hostess was really sweet and very professional. This place allows you to bring your own food/snacks and beverages of choice, including alcohol. They don't offer anything for sell. The artist who led us for the evening was very friendly and personable. She even helped a few folks with their painting who had gotten a little off track. My only issue here was with the seats. They were uncomfortable and not designed for those who are short and curvy in size. I had to stand a few times to help. Otherwise a great time and they have a great selection of paintings to choose from.

I would definitely work with Dorothy again for any creative event.

Sending my children to My Little School has been one of the best decisions for my children I could have made. I love all of the staff and my children have been loved and cared for like their own. I would not send my children to any other center. The owner is so involved and makes sure that every family is treated with respect. One of the best things about My Little School is the great staff and level of parent-teacher communication. My children have learned so much here. I would refer anyone here and I can proudly say that my children are at the best daycare around. Also, the cleanliness is unmatched. I have nothing negative to say. Great daycare, great staff, loving owner.

Especially for the price. My son just turned 3 today, and is finishing up in the "Twos" room at MLS. My wife and I first found this place when she was going back to work after our son had turned one. We immediately loved the location and the staff. I have experienced nothing but the height of politeness and friendliness from everyone who's worked there over the past two years. The building is bright and beautiful, and ALWAYS exceptionally clean, and has a great layout. Ms. Kim and her staff prepare in-house Breakfast and Lunch daily, and the kids get a really great variety of food. I am confident every morning that my son is safe and is being well-cared for. Even those mornings when he's throwing a screaming fit and doesn't want to get in or out of the car, when he gets to school, for him it's a safe calm space, and he settles down with relative quickness at the hands of any of the wonderful teachers. Do yourself a favor and call Ms. Kim and enroll your littles now! Feel free to personally send me a FB message if you have any questions about my experience.

Over 100 artists brought their work, showcasing media from intricate ceramics, crisp photography, and shiny metal jewelry to unique polished wood pieces and, of course, brilliant paints. My personal favorite? Felicia Olin, whose whimsical paintings on canvas and wood keep me looking for her year after year. (I have several of her pieces, including one I got during the Edwardsville Art Fair last year and another at the Fair in 2018!) Other regulars include an artist who uses puffy 3D paints, SIUE art students, a wood and collage artist who makes the most beautiful boxes and mirrors, and, new the last 2 years, an artist who makes beautiful paintings of silly embroidery and nother who makes incredible realistic-looking flower arrangements from a flexible clay. The atmosphere was great, too. thanks to the warm but not too hot temperatures (we got lucky there) and the live music on the bandstand (especially the SIUE Jazz Band). And, if you wanted, you could grab a drink, an ice cream, or some food from a food truck or tent, including Global Brew and Cold Stone Creamery, and then sit down to enjoy your selection while enjoying the music and other performing arts. Plus, the fair is a perfect family event, offering kids activities like the Maker's Space. It's awesome knowing that the fair supports the EAC's mission to keep art accessible for everyone. Mark your calendars for next year--you won't want to miss it! Maybe I'll see you there!
