I work for a nursing agency (where I help elderly at their homes) and my client loves the salon and her hairdresser April. One woman gave me some tips of how to put my hair up in some cute different styles so I don't have to pony-tail it every day. It is about $35-$40 for trim and blow-dry so I don't go there for myself because my hair needs are minimal and I am lower middle class trying to save $$. But if I had a special occasion or wanted to dye my hair, I probably would go there because I know for a fact they do a good job.

She's very good and I was happy to see her thrive even though she decided to move to JJ salon. We followed her there even though I had qualms about the salon after seeing the pompous and self-congratulatory look of the website. The prices are considerably higher than what we were used to paying but still, we knew we would get good cuts and dyes from Brittany. My friend missed an appointment - her fault, she agrees. She called four minutes away from the salon at her next appointment to apologize and say she was on her way. The receptionist said she would have to make another appontment but before that my friend would have to pay $260.00 to reimburse the salon for two missed appointments. Let me say that again, she was four minutes away and they wanted $260.00 before they would deign to see her. This is ridiculous. The salon is not in LA or NY - not even DC. If they can get over themselves and correct their bad customer treatment I would go back. As it is, I'll miss Brittany's good cuts but I won't indulge that kind of bad behavior.
