He retired. I do most all of my own vehicle work, but on occasion I used to go to Real Pro Auto in Wyoming. I had my truck in there the last time I went to Real Pro Auto in Wyoming. Before my truck was off the lift I asked the mechanic and service manager if they could give me a price on the exhaust manifold getting replaced, and only the exhaust manifold, I could do all the other work myself. The service manager and the mechanic immediately told me they would have to replace my whole exhaust system, and it would probably be over $3,000. I knew better, and I knew they were just trying to up-sell me. I always laugh when any shop gives me a list of things that need repair, and I know 80%-90% of those things have just been done or are not bad enough for me to worry about yet. After they told me that they would need to replace the whole exhaust system, I asked them "Why would I need to have the other exhaust manifold replaced, it isn't leaking, and why would you have to replace the whole exhaust system and not just what I was asking you to do?" The both said that they would only replace the exhaust manifold if I agreed to replace every single exhaust piece. I know the talk from service managers, and mechanics, I grew up knowing many because of my father. They give the customer a big list on what needs to be done, or things they think up, even if they don't ask for it, then hope the customer is dumb on vehicle repairs and believes that everything needs to be done ASAP in their shop. I was so pissed they wouldn't budge at just fixing what I wanted fixed, and leaving the rest for me to fix. It wouldn't be a safety issue, it wasn't a request to get rid of the Catalytic Converters, (Which I know is illegal for them to do). I could buy OEM parts to replace my whole exhaust myself for under $675 if I wanted to. In there defense I know I would need to figure in the cost of the hours of the mechanic if I agreed to have them do it. But $2,325 of mechanic hours, and $675 or less for parts??????? I don't think so. I will just say this, I met the owner John many years ago, and he seemed like a nice guy. However, I truly think he hired the wrong people after Vince left. Maybe John gives the service managers a bonus if they bring in more money than his other locations, who knows, seems like it though. Maybe John should look at reviews before and after Vince left and compare them. I would bet he will see the reviews hit the floor after Vince left. After my last visit at Real Pro Auto in Wyoming I got an automated text by John on my other vehicle needing something in regards to work. How would he know? They seen the other vehicle 1.5 years before, and never after that. Then I got an automated text another month saying it was John, (I knew it was a automated text), and that one asked me why I haven't been there in a while. I almost replied, however I know he can't be at all three locations all the time and probably has no idea what goes on during most of the day in all locations, so I ignored that text instead of complaining. Now I am warning people, Real Pro Auto when it was smaller with one location was great, now they are bad in my opinion.

After my last negative review he went all 5 year old and wouldn't allow the tow company to pick up the car. Meanwhile he can't produce the parts he supposedly replaced(but wasn't given the okay to fix) When way more serious issues were happening. Talking with this dude is like dealing with a kid, and they have no business working on cars. His positive reviews are oil changes , headlights, and wiper blades, all these can be done by a gas station attendant. And oh by the way...one time around the block once the car was home and BING-check engine light back on. Little baby Dick should have picked a different profession, because a grown ass man and a mechanic he is not.

He took my car into the garage and worked a small miracle on my car. The dent was gone and the bumper was reattached. We have gone to this place for over 40 years and have always gotten great service, but with new owners now, I was not sure. They are definitely keeping up the great work that Jim started. Jim, the person that does estimates at Burton Heights Auto Body will promise to do things and then…read morenot follow through. I had an insurance claim that needed attention. Jim gave me an estimate a few months ago for additional minor repairs along with a complete paint job. When it came time to do the work, Jim then increased the price dramatically. He then promised to raise the vehicle on a lift when it was in the shop to give me a more accurate estimate. That new estimate never happened as Jim said parts were not available. I checked online as soon as I returned home and found several sources for parts. I also asked for an alignment while my vehicle was in the shop. Jim told me that someone crawled underneath the car and said it did not need an alignment. That is not how you check alignment. Really, If the vehicle pulls to the left or right then it is alignment related. The vehicle was never raised on a hoist nor put on an alignment rack. I let Burton Heights Auto Body repair my vehicle and was not satisfied with the service, nor the deceit and unkept promises. I have referred many people to this establishment in the past making the company many thousands of dollars. That does not include the thousands that I have spent. Yet, when I had to go through the process all Jim cared about was the insurance check and not making the customer happy by meeting the requirements and promises that he made to me. Deceit is not good business... NO MORE REFFERALS!

MBI Auto is a Shady Business…read more I just very carefully, using no instrument at all opened up my bumper that MBI Auto sent me. I slowly rolled up the plastic film. There is damage all over the place, not where the folds are but the cross pieces. I know this was a returned damaged bumper MBI Auto sent to me. There was no way I received this bumper 4 days after ordering it. MBI Auto told me to disregard Amazon texts telling me when it went out and when I'd get it. MBI Auto said it would take 2 weeks maybe more to paint it, let it cure for 4 days or more then another 7-10 to get it delivered to me here in Ronkonkoma, New York. I also know it's a returned bumper because there was no white powder on it like MBI Auto says there will be on it to protect the paint job. It's horrible what MBI Auto is putting me through. It's disgusting how MBI Auto is trying to pawn off damaged merchandise to a new customer. We'll see how the return goes. Just a big waste of my time. I have photos of the damage on the bumper.

Very bad experience. Was told multiple different delivery dates by different people within the…read morecompany. Delivery was delayed even longer than expected (10 days post pick up). Boxes were labelled incorrectly and a handful of things were placed in random boxes/bins making it difficult to find certain items. On arrival, this made it difficult to put things in the correct places. The delivery team on arrival seemed in a hurry to leave, not placing boxes in the correct rooms. This made it difficult for me as I couldn't carry the boxes by myself, so I had to open boxes on a floor and slowly bring things a few items at a time up or down to a different floor. Many boxes/bins were placed in the garage that should have gone in the house. The assembly team that came to put the trampoline back together had to come back twice because we initially couldn't find the box of trampoline parts. Additionally, I had a hard time getting in touch with them the second time until the company owner reached out to me and then reached out to them. Then I later discovered that the the metal pieces holding up the basket on the front of my bike were damaged badly, bent in multiple spots and need to be replaced. My refrigerator doors are also out of alignment now and a small corner piece on one door is damaged. Tried reaching out to the coordinator and claims department to address these issues and still without resolution for the problem. The line for the claims department has a full inbox and I am unable to leave a voicemail. EXTREMELY chaotic and horrible experience with this company. Would NOT recommend.
