Such a cute place to walk around and take your kids for a picnic or to play on the playground they have there. Tons of other families. Dogs are welcome as long as you keep them on leash and pick up after them. There are shades areas and plenty of benches. Nice place for a fun day out with friends and family!

We visited for a free Sunset Live! concert. The AC/DC cover band was excellent. There was free parking, vendors, food/beverage sales and a kids play area. There are mature shade trees and landscaping. You can park on-site in the large, free lot. Very convenient to Main Street in Grapevine.

I love coming to this place and I'm grateful that the gardens are free. They have ample parking, the restrooms are maintained as well as the plants. They have Christmas decorations up and there are plenty of photo opportunities in the gardens. The gardens can also be reserved for private events. They have historical plaques all over the gardens, plenty of places to sit by yourself or with others. We arrived before sunset and stayed while the sun was setting and enjoyed the serene atmosphere.

The historic town of Grapevine offers this small botanic garden within walking distance from the train station and other attractions. It was being used as an event space and various people were doing photography and such, but there was no great impediment to me walking through. There were some interesting sculpture pieces integrated with the greenery. It was a quiet place, and visiting was free.

This is a fantastic little garden and an oasis in the middle of the city. It is a great place to bring your lunch, find a bench and take in the sounds of nature as you replenish. The sound of running water, whether it be a fountain or a stream or a waterfall is present throughout this part.

I stopped by this gem not far from the Gaylord. There were only a few cars in the parking lot during my visit which meant I could enjoy it even more. I enjoyed a peaceful morning walk on a bright and sunny day along a paved sidewalk throughout the beautifully landscaped garden. A prominent sculpture greets you at the entrance. There is bench seating throughout. Children can enjoy the playground as well. I recommend this park to enjoy the great outdoors.

Absolutely breathtaking! A friend on Yelp visited a few months ago, and I finally remembered to check it out. Thankfully the gardens were easy to find since I wasn't familiar with the area. Once on the property, everything was self-paced and accessible. Overall, I spent about forty-five minutes to an hour taking in the sights and sounds. There was a packed playground next to the gardens. I could hear and see the families have a blast in the nice, cool weather. Please visit this place if you need a getaway to reconnect with nature.

We were looking for a park to take my dogs out to and we came across the Botanical Gardens in Grapevine. The scenery was amazing and my kids love the fact that there is a playground and a basketball court right next to it.

I love this local botanic gardens. Parking is free. It has paved walking path, variety of plants and flowers, events venue, restrooms and playground. It's a total gem!

Pretty but there's not much to do, it's the smallest botanical garden I've been to, you can sit for a while, read a little and that's about it. You'll be in and out in less than 15 minutes, the entrance is free though so I think of it of more as a park than an actual garden.

Beautiful little gardens. Loved walking around with my fiancé. We went on a Sunday and there was only one other couple so it's super quiet and peaceful. They have lots of seating areas as well. Make sure you wear sun screen and bug spray !

The summer of 2019, I visited Grapevine, Texas for a computer conference. OK, OK, it was QuakeCon. Before I was able to start hardcore gaming, I had a few hours to fill, and made the decision to eat BBQ brisket and take a nap at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens, and it was a beaut. The botanical garden was tranquil and the calming energy was just what the doctor ordered (the doctor had NOT ordered the pound of brisket, the half-day spent in airports, or the three-days of restless gaming with the nerdherd that was to come.) It was a welcome respite from the road, to be surrounded by the nature of Grapevine, Texas, its native flora and fauna. The koi were well fed and swam gorgeously thru golden lit waters, but the real star was the shade and breeze on a hot July day. The butterfly sculpture celebrates the monarch butterflies that fly over Grapevine, Texas on their southern migration. My favorite part of my visit to the Botanical Garden was the 200+ years old tree. A plaque beside the tree bore the following inscription: "1787 - 1987. The National Arborist Association and the International Society of Arborculture jointly recognize this significant tree in this centennial year, having lived at the time of the signing of our Constitution."

Our first impression was wow! The present neighborhood built around a farm that's been in Grapevine since the 1850's. And the farmer was there tending to the garden when we arrived. The house was open for unguided tours of the upstairs and downstairs. After touring the house we met the farmer. My granddaughter got a chance to talk to the farmer and go with him to pet the sheep. We also went to the Farm store on the property and my daughter bought chicken feed. My granddaughter fed the chickens and that was adorable to catch on video. If you're a history buff or if you enjoy museums Nashville Farm is definitely worth a visit. They accept donations but admission is free.

Upon entering, I was immediately overwhelmed by a pungent odor reminiscent of cat urine. It was so overpowering that breathing became a challenge, and it was hard to imagine anyone choosing to linger in the retail space. I am a huge advocate for businesses that embrace having animals on site, as it often adds a charming touch to the shopping experience. The cat at Green Acre is indeed beautiful, but unfortunately, its presence has wreaked havoc on the retail space. The unmistakable odor suggests it has chosen the outdoor furniture as its territory, which detracts significantly from the environment--something that management ought to address promptly. Despite this unnerving aspect, I did spot an exquisite Alocasia Zebrina. This find was the shining moment in an otherwise unpleasant visit. Sadly, I didn't venture into their outdoor section, as the state of the houseplant area was disheartening enough. Many of the plants appeared neglected, with signs of overwatering and distress. It was disappointing to see such potential overshadowed by poor maintenance. If this Green Acre location wishes to improve, they could learn a lot from the Green Acres location in Melissa, whose plant manager truly excels. Her expertise and care are evident, and similar attention is needed in Irving to revive their plant offerings and overall customer experience. Overall, I wish I could grant a higher score, but the current conditions make it difficult to recommend Green Acre Nursery until these issues are addressed.

They also recommended that i get some root growth liquid chemicals to help the trees grow. they typically have sales going on. We've paid for "premium" service in the past and never really felt like we got it. With Blooming Colors, you can tell they care. Here's the story... Before purchasing, I made it crystal clear I needed HOA approval (as an "exception" because it's not on our approved landscaping list). On that lovely Saturday, the very helpful sales associate, Olivia, confidently assured me I'd get a full refund if the HOA didn't approve. No mention of store credit. No caveats. That promise (and my love for those two trees) was the only reason I agreed to move forward and let them hold the trees on my card. HOA said no. I came back expecting a simple resolution... and instead got a full rewrite of reality. Olivia wasn't there, and the staff immediately insisted there was "no way she would've said that." One employee chimed in, "I trained her myself," followed by questions about whether I "saw all the no-refund signs." The manager doubled down with, "I really don't believe she said that." All of this--despite having a witness that was standing next to me who heard the entire conversation. Let's call it what it was: not confusion... gaslighting. After things escalated, the owner came out, seemingly only after I mentioned disputing the charge. She agree to refund me--but not before trying to shush me, telling me to "be quiet or wait outside," and saying, "I'll refund your money and you can go buy your trees elsewhere." Nothing says "family business values" quite like dismissing a paying customer on the way out. The trees were beautiful, no doubt--but their integrity and respect wilted faster than a Texas agave in August. If you shop here, get everything in writing... because their word clearly doesn't take root. Better yet, don't.
