If you like waiting and being ignored this is the place for you. When you walk in there are no signs telling you to wait or seat yourself. We waited with another couple already standing there. Pretty much in the dining area, with everyone looking at you. No idea how long they had already waited. After 10ish minutes, they finally sat at an empty, un cleaned booth. I asked a customer if we were to seat ourselves, she said yep, where ever you find a seat. So we sat at a small dirty booth. It was crazy busy. Saturday morning. Probably all regulars. We weren't. No one came to clean our booth. Ask if we wanted coffee or give us menus. They totally did not see, acknowledge or care that we were there. So, after maybe 10 more minutes we walked out. I'm mad that I gave them that long. I'm mad that I need to give them any stars. Drove into Conneaut and ate at a little diner. It was awesome. Do yourself a favor. Keep driving. read more

Stumbled upon Grantham's while looking for someplace new to eat. Pleasantly surprised. Spacious, comfortable and clean. Had every intent on blowing my diet with a burger but the chicken stir fry sounded like a nice change. Large portion with plenty of chicken and veggies. Rice was a little over cooked and would have benefited from some chicken stock for flavor but that's ok. Blew my diet anyway with a slice of strawberry rhubarb pie which I took home for later. Since I have gone to Grantham's at least a few hundred of times, starting from the age of 7, I figured I should write a nice review for them. I personally really like Grantham's (yes, I'm not giving them 5 stars, I don't want to disappoint any 'foodies'), and for the location, it's the best food around. They have various specials daily, so you'll always have a chance to try something new (unless it's really popular and sells out, rarely happens). The food is always well prepared, with the exception of the bread basket which comes with some of the dinners (it might leave some people disappointed). For breakfast, I've always enjoyed their omelets, french toast, and country-fried steak. I have almost tried all of their burgers and hoagies, and I can't say that I've ever had one that I didn't like. I can't speak for many of the dinner items since I'd usually have whatever the special was, but their meals have never disappointed me. By far the best time to go here is on Friday when they have their fried fish dinner special and calm chowder is the soup for the day. The fish alone would get 6 out of 5 stars! Truly delicious! The service is consistently reliable. It rarely takes more than 10 minutes to order food, and after that it's usually only about 15 minutes or less for the food to make it to you. The speed of the service really just depends on how many people show up, usually their busiest time is around noon on Sunday (after everyone leaves Church and heads there for lunch), but even then, it's still acceptable. The atmosphere of the restaurant isn't anything special, but the tables are always clean and tidy. It does have a "homey" feeling to it, there are nice pictures and artwork on most of the walls, and big windows line the entire restaurant so it's well lite during the day with natural sunlight. The lighting at night is also good (it's not dim). Their desserts have always been really good which are mostly pies. The Graham Cracker cream pie is probably the best. If you're in the area, it's worth stopping by to try it out for yourself. read more

Very disappointed with this restaurant! Went there for dinner this evening. Apparently our food check was lost so no one ever made our food after waiting 30 mins. People had ordered after us, ate and left prior to us getting our food. The waitress kept telling us our food was almost up! May have been even longer than 30 mins! Never compensated us! When we asked for a discount, the staff was exceptionally rude! We will never ever return here again! read more
