I'm so glad I booked and cannot wait to go back with my family who will be visiting bc WA this summer. The entrance is about half a mile drive in to the farm. You start seeing the Alpacas right away and there are so many! It's an instant high pitch voice of excitement on my part (haha). The owner and daughter were waiting for us to greet us and were so kind! We did four different activities with the Alpacas: walked up to them and gave us background info on the Alpacas and farm, we pet a one year old Alpaca and two year old, fed them, walked two other Alpacas and ended our tour in their gift shop. The gift shop we had one more daughter who walked us through the texture of fiber and how it ends as yarn. The owner's wife whom we did not meet but hope to in the future made two hats and they were beautiful! $45 each and we bought those. She's also a photographer and does photography with the Alpacas if you wanted. It was an amazing experience!

I highly recommend this experience for everyone, I am from SF and this was a highlight to my trip up to WA! It was fulfilling and insightful about farm/family life. The family and the environment they've created around their farm is warm and welcoming. The sisters AKA daughters are heavily involved in the alpaca farm life and we are happy to see the next generation taking on heavy responsibilities at a young age. With that being said , GREATLY recommend this experience! & thank you for having us

Great parking on a field next to the farm. All the staff have been wonderful and friendly. One even went the extra mile to explain the varieties of lavender and what we need to do and how to cut the lavender. We appreciated the explanation and information. We grabbed a white basket, which had lengthy white twist ties and a scissor. You cut between the 2nd and 3rd leaves. There are numerous bees everywhere and you can hear them buzzing about but they pretty much leave you alone. It was a rather warm day and beautiful. Perfect for picking lavender. It's $5 for a bunch that you can fit within the twist tie, which is a rather large bunch. I picked two types of lavender -- an edible variety and one that s used more for its oils and is more aromatic. There is also a lavender-colored Adirondack chair in the middle of the field for photo opportunities. We ended up purchasing kettle corn with lavender, which is oddly delicious and I had a fresh squeezed lavender lemonade. I loved it! There were numerous handcrafted items to purchase from varying booths. I purchased some emu oil, some bowl pads, and a tank top. I ended up picking up a 2.5 lb large bag of lavender buds to put into satchels and place around the house. I ended up giving half of it to my next door neighbor and gave them half of the lavender I picked. The lavender I picked was also cutely wrapped in tissue with a cute tie. When I had gotten home, I made a simple syrup with the lavender and have used it in drinks and to make scones with. Overall, this was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend.

When you arrive, check-in is inside the red barn. They'll let you know which group tour you belong to. They have port o' potties and hand washing stations behind the barn. If you end up getting any food from the food truck (ostrich sliders and ostrich philly steak style sandwiches), you can bring it into the barn where there's picnic style tables and benches.
