WOW, perfect example of a rip-off artist, I was sent here by my regular dentist to have a tooth (molar) extracted; it cracked underneath the crown and he wasn't comfortable doing it. Anyway, they sent me, and my diagnosis, and my X-rays, etc over to this "dental surgeon", here's a breakdown of his charges: Consultation. $153 Panoramic image. $102 Surgical removal. $272 My dental insurance paid a total of $390 My co-pay was $35 Now I get a bill in the mail for $102 To get a tooth pulled ? Call whatever you like, but I was there, they didn't knock me out, just a couple of shots in the gum, cracked the crown off, and pulled the tooth. They did put 2 Stitch's in, total time in office; hour & half, including"panoramic imaging" and waiting for shots to take effect. They NEVER said anything about my insurance not covering it all. I'll never go back and I'll never recommend them. read more

Dr. Jong pulled the wrong tooth. It was broken down to the gumline and i was told it had to be pulled. I was charged for a "surgical extraction" and bone graft. I get home and the sutures are all falling out. I take a deeper look and realize he pulled a perfectly good tooth and left the broken one in my mouth! I called and spoke with him. He said he did that to line me up for dentures....what??? He knew what he did. I would appreciate some ethics here and an HONEST response to what he did. Friendliness doesn't tell the whole story about someone. I wish i would have sued but now its too late. read more

There was little swelling and I had no pain whatsoever afterwards. Dr. Grant does follow up with his patients afterward which I think is so wonderful of him. I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted yesterday by Dr. Grant Jong. I was incredibly worried because everybody around me had some pretty bad experiences and I was frightened about what could happen to me. As soon as I came in they put all this stuff on me which kind of freaked me out more because I hate being restricted (blood pressure cuff , oxygen mask, surgical hat, and strapped my arm down for the IV), but the assistants were so kind and gentle assuring my safety and comfort . They even asked what type of music I would like to listen to! As soon as the doctor came in he was so kind to me and gentle with his touch . He came in put in my IV (which did not hurt nearly as bad as I imagined) and he told me it was going to be quick and easy ! The nurse told me to lean my head back as the anesthesia began and I attempted to say "oh I can feel it" but didn't get half way through my sentence before I knocked out ! I woke up and it was done! The nurses and doctor were so patient with me as I was supposedly laughing hysterically at them (I can't remember) and they took good care of me the entire time. I am going to recommend him to everyone I know ! read more

I swear dr Jong is such a great dentist! He was kind enough to check on my boyfriends mouth (post surgery, extraction) after hours. Will defiantly keep him as our family dentist. Great dentist, he was able to get my boyfriend to pull all 4 wisdom teeth within 4 days of a consult with a different dentist. He called personally afterward to check on his and make sure he was okay(I've never experienced that) he has the after hours operator send us straight to his cell phone. Great guy! read more

Best Oral Surgeon in the Inland Empire/Riverside area. Makes time for his patients and actually cares about them. He is well educated and does a great job on all the work he does. I've been his patient for years, I believe since 2009/2010. He removed my wisdom teeth and has also been working on an implant I needed done, which we just finished. Very disappointed by the work done by this this guy. I was sent to him by my dentist to have two wisdom teeth pulled. He ripped my lip open and had to stitch it up during surgery and now I have a pretty bad scar that goes a half inch below my lip. Dr Jong told me I have a small mouth and didn't offer any kinda reimbursement. But even worse is he leaves a two inch long piece of dental floss embedded in the gum of my tooth that got badly infected and hurt worse than the wisdom teeth holes! I went back to the dental office after two sleepless nights where they remove the floss and prescribed me stronger antibiotics. I thought the piece of floss was a loose suchere or I would have pulled it out earlier my self. Not happy at all. Thanks for nothing read more

I recently was referred by my dentist to Dr. Jong to have 2 of my bottom wisdom teeth removed that were impacted. From start to finish he was very personable, explained the whole process and presented what he thought was the best course of action. Never once did I feel uncomfortable with him. What an Excellent Oral Surgeon and Staff! My regular dentist recommended Dr Grant Jong to remove my daughter's wisdom teeth. The staff was so very caring and did everything to make sure my daughter was calm and comfortable. They even played her favorite music to help her relax! Amazing experience! I had all four wisdom teeth removed on Feb. 23rd and it could not have gone any better. Dr. Jong and his staff were extremely kind from the consultation to a visit after the surgery was complete. I went in feeling nervous but their calm demeanor and the fact that they explained everything to me beforehand made me feel better. I had no pain after the surgery other than soreness (I took the prescribed pain medication immediately following surgery but was able to discontinue it a few hours later). I appreciated that Dr. Jong even took time out of his evening later that day to call and follow-up with me to make sure I was feeling fine and bleeding had stopped. Definitely the best! read more

Just like every professional dentist we have visited, the entire Dr Jong's office was knowledgeable and top-notch. As for their front office billing staff, they were extremely reliable, detailed, and most importantly, trustworthy. The invoice print-out we received was precise, easy to understand, and without confusion. In fact, Dr Jong's billing staff carefully explained to us during our initial consultation that this visit is NOT a free of charge service. Dr.Jong was great, I got all 4 wisdom teeth extracted with minimal swelling and pain. However my experience with the office was terrible. Office management is very unprofessional, I was told my appointment was at 9am and to be there early... I get to the office at 830, no one arrives until about 930. Then my pre authorization and the quote given to me was for 200 dollars less than they wanted to charge me. I know that there are certain codes inputting, dealing with insurance what have you but this is just bad customer service. I consulted with another dental office and they confirmed that the prices for anesthesia went up but they were doing an adjustment for those who got a quote before the change,making it right for their clients...kind of disappointing that this office didn't feel the need to do the same. read more

I was sent to Dr. Grant Jong, DMD from my dentist, with a need for emergency oral surgery. Dr. Jong adjusted his scheduled to not only see me just before his office closed, that same day, but drove across town to meet me at the specialized MRI office, after asking them for a favor to work late, to personally review my films with their staff so he could operate the next morning. His staff was friendly and efficient, and his office in Corona is So High-Tech, I felt like I was in good hands! After the surgery, he had me come in for multiple follow-up appts to make sure all was healing. I did get dry-socket, unfortunately, but Dr. Jong found a natural remedy to reduce my constant pain, and assured me that the healing process takes time, which soothed my fears. I just came back for my final visit and all is well!
