As usual the service here is outstanding. The severs are warm inviting and are attentive. The environment is as always very comfortable and relaxing. Now for the breakfast review: Today I being it's my first breakfast here I tried the biscuits and gravy with a sausage patty. The drink I chose for this morning's breakfast was a Spanish coffee. Typically when I try an establishments breakfast for the first time it's always biscuits and gravy. By far my favorite breakfast ever. If they prepare this dish well that tells me it's okay to be more adventurous. Well the Lilly nailed it today. The biscuits and gravy is everything that it should be. Authentic and not artsy fartcy. Just good old school down home biscuits and gravy and that is what I received today. The dish was flavorful and the biscuits are spot on. The sausage patty was of very good quality and very flavorful as well. The Spanish Coffee was very nice prepared and the presentation was excellent. Once again the Jersey Lilly has knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend that you try this establishment.

I have gotten the burger steak, almost every single time It was hot, thick & meaty with fried mushrooms & onions on it. The salad was big and so good. Tonight the burger steak had a film like it had been waiting. The salad was smaller and not real fresh. Baked potato seemed leftover. The fries, though, were right out of the fryer and really good. Service is still really good. She was back after nine years, is smiling and makes you feel welcome. I hope this was a bad night because this is one of the best places in Roseburg for a meal or a drink.

We stopped in for breakfast (served Saturdays & Sundays) and had an amazing meal. I had the traditional English breakfast with Bangers, Bacon, baked beans, mushrooms and eggs that I couldn't finish. Hubby had their corned beef bowl with homemade corned beef and an amazing chimi churry on top. We also discovered that they have Guinness on tap with nitrogen! The only other place in town that we know has it on tap, doesn't have it on nitrogen, so you won't be getting that traditional settling a nice pint of Guinness. We will certainly be coming back!

Right here, I feel pressured. There on the bottom of the menu, on the wall facing me, was a long list of something I can ADD FOR FREE. One by one, I started adding: relish, lettuce, & tomatoes. Mustard of course. With all that, it made for a very good hot dog, after all! Hubby had: relish, mustard & ketchup. Something simple. He said: that was great. While waiting for our hot dogs prepared (I kind of watched), we were munching on fresh roasted peanuts. I wanted to eat under an umbrella, enjoy the fresh air outside. It was an awesome picnic . . . We are lucky they sweep the floors and clean the bathrooms.
