The company never has anything straight, they're constantly changing things which makes everything way more complicated and adds to the lack of communication amongst coworkers in this company. The company also underpays their employees I was hired on at minimum wage level in the year I was there I got a 30 cent raise, meanwhile I was expected to do manager level work and had a very strict time limit that had me so stressed out I couldn't think of anything other than work even when I wasn't at work. Also if you ever tried to stand up for the clients because you realize they were being treated unfairly the company would attack you for it degrade you make you feel like you're stupid on and on and on. All I can say at this point is I truly hope this company Burns.

While in treatment I was called the monkey by the people staff and patients made derogatory comments about me and my skin color. There was a running joke about me the only African American in the facility being basically just a trained monkey. I brought it to the attention of the program manager and my counselor but nothing changed it seems they were afraid to address the concerns. Finally an administrator visited me at the facility and transferred me somewhere I could finally get some help. However they sent me to Grassvalley which had even less diversity but had one African American staff member at least. Who really worked hard to ensure I was heard and received some sort of treatment. Upon graduation I still have no relapse prevention plan or aftercare. I do not recommend Granite Wellness centers for treatment if you are a person of color. The institutional racism promoted by the executive management and turning a blind eye to patient welfare shows is not a place for healing.

It made me feel so welcome and not intimidated when the staff called me by name my first day and treated me like a human being. They encouraged me, made me believe in myself again. Getting my life back has been the best part of all and I would never have been able to do this without the support and advice and everything else the clinic has done for me! I've been going to this clinic for over a year now. I really wish I could stop going like right…read morenow! I can't because my dose was super high. I'm tapering now and hopefully I can transfer to a different medication. A medicine I'm allowed to take home with me. The clinic supposedly will let me hold on to my medicine at some point. But for now they expect me to come here every single day of my life so they can dose me. I understand doing it at first to get someone stable but after a few months its inhumane. I work full time. I have to try and run down there every morning at 5 am so I can get dosed before work. Every single day! Then on weekends, they are only open from 7 am to 9am. So if I decide to rest,no dose. And when I do make it down there, usually there is 20 people waiting. It really makes me uncomfortable. I want my privacy when it comes to my health issues. Clinics every where need to adopt new strategies and especially Aegis. I will say it again for the MFs in back, they expect me to come down there every single day. I want my freedom back.

Communication between care givers is poor. Food is very poor. Attending CNA's are probably over…read moreworked. Some are excellent, but many are not alert to patients' needs. You can call for bathroom assistance and no one comes for way too long when a patient needs help quickly. And, worst of all patients who need to use the toilet ( like me) go ahead and try to get out of bed. Only I fell on the floor and hit my head hard enough to bleed. I had to be taken to hospital and XRayed and ct scanned. Fortunately for me I didn't have any broken bones, but I did have black eyes and a lump on my forehead for several weeks. I complained to the nurses and doctors that my stomach burned from my groin to my heart region, but no one seemed concerned. Ended up, it was a serious ulcer that ended up losing 10 pints of blood. SNMH air lifted me to Carmichael where they saved my life. I am not at all happy with my experience at Springhill Manner and do not recommend it.

After taking his liquid sedative, they allowed my son to choose a toy which he got to keep. He played with that as thd medicine set in, and we finished paperwork. I got to meet every member of the team working on my son. I was especially happy to know they had an anesthesiologist who regularly works with peduatric patients (something I've feared would be difficult to find in this area). I waited in the lobby during the procedure, and I was notified when the procedure had begun, and how things went to start. The dentist (Dr. Hagele) came out when thd procedure ended to update me and say it went well. Finally, thd nurses came to get me so I'd be there when my son woke up. They wheeled us put on a wheel chair so I could hold him on the way to the car, and even provided a certificate acknowledging his missing teeth from the Tooth Fairy. My son has absolutely ZERO memory of me leaving the room, or even having a procedure. He thinks the medicine the gave him before I left magically made his bad teeth go away and gave him crowns! He even asked if we can go back to this dentist instead of our regular dentist who referred us! I'm so impressed with our experience here. I couldn't recommend it more!
