Very late review but better late than never right?? I had an amazing experience here. Got my car in October. Chris was so kind and helpful and accommodating to our needs. We went in expecting to possibly get denied and wound up leaving with a brand new Buick encore gx with lower payments than our old car. I don't remember all the other names of the people who helped me but literally every single staff member there was awesome. And the process was soooo much quicker than we had anticipated! Poor service continues here. Just visited for the 6th time with radio/infotainment center issues. After 5 visits (all were over 3 hours) they replaced the radio. Today they said nothing is wrong. The speed limit display freezes, radio shuts off randomly, steering wheel controls stop working intermittently, check engine light flashes when you put the cruise control on but I guess nothing is wrong. Going to look for a new Tacoma. The service at this dealership has consistently left me feeling helpless and I don't enjoy that feeling. I go to a great local mechanic for maintenance but the dealership's support is needed for these computer issues. They offer zero support, so I'd advise not to buy a GMC. read more

On the morning of 7/11/25 I had an appointment at Granite Run Buick GMC to refill (recharge) my car's air conditioner with coolant. When I first checked in at the service counter, the service advisor (I believe his name was Hector) generated an estimate bill for roughly $330 (this included the cost of a diagnostic test and the coolant refill). When I saw the diagnostic test was listed as $249 on the bill, I advised this service advisor that the person who booked my appointment told me that my cost would only be $300 for refilling the AC coolant; the service advisor told me that the combined cost for the diagnostic test and the AC refill should not be more than $300. So, I signed the itemized bill and I sat in the waiting area while my car was being serviced. After about 45 minutes, the service advisor (who first checked me in) advised me that it will now cost a little over $500 in order to refill/recharge my air conditioner with coolant; he says the price increase is because my car takes a special kind of coolant. Next, I next speak to the Service Department Manager about this. The service department manager reiterates that refilling my AC will cost $500 because of the type of car that I have. But I advise him that I was told the cost of refilling my air conditioner with coolant would be $300; back when I first scheduled my appointment over the phone on 6/30/25. I also advise him that the printed itemized bill that I was given by the service advisor (when I first checked in for the appointment) also said around $330 (including taxes/fees). In response, The Service Department Manager claimed that the person who made my appointment probably didn't work on site; he continued to make several other excuses for why he would not make any adjustment to the price. The service department manager said that he can't refill/recharge my AC for the price of $300 , because he as to pay his service mechanics and he lists various other expenses that he has to cover. He cites these things as the reasons that he cannot afford to let me pay any less than $500 to refill/recharge my AC. I explain the him that none of these things that he's describing are the concern of a customer. Ultimately, the service department manager refused to take any responsibility and refused to make an adjustment to the price. I explained that I took off from work today in order to bring my vehicle to this dealership and get my air conditioning working again; this was a waste of my time (and a work day), a waste of my gas and I still have no air conditioning in my car; he seemed very unconcerned and went back to whatever he was doing. The professionalism of the service advisor was not great either. When he first gave me the itemized estimate bill to sign, he gave me a hard time about wanting to read the bill before signing. While I'm trying to read the bill, the service adviser was joking around and said "okay, if you want to be nosey". What kind of people do they have working here? Since when is a customer being "nosey" for reading something that they're expected to sign? read more

When I first bought my GMC AT4 in June 2024, I noticed the tailgate speaker wasn't working. John Leon personally assured me they'd fix it, along with a mirror and a leaky window. Within the first 30 days and even shook my hand on it. I've come in five times since then, each time driving an hour and a half, taking time off work and losing money, only to be told the speaker part still wasn't ordered. While they did have the parts to fix the mirror and the window, the speaker issue was never resolved. Most frustrating of all, John Leon kept telling me the speaker part was out of stock. I finally called the parts department myself as a customer, and they told me the part was actually available. The parts guy was helpful but wanted no parts of the situation, I was transferred to John Leon. I let him know Friday September 19 2025 that the part was in stock and all he needed to do was order it, he assured me it would be done and asked me to come in on Tuesday September 23 2025 at 9:30. Once halfway, I decided to call ahead before driving all that way again, and the parts department told me no order had been placed. I'm sharing this so others know what to expect, and I really hope the team improves their follow-through in the future." read more

I have leased GMC vehicles from Granite Run for decades. This week I had a lease on a 2022 Terrain lease end and I decided to buy it out. I at leased This vehicle from Granite run so of course that's where I had intended to do the buyout from GM financial. I asked to talk to Ryan Irish, The owner, We have known for several years and considered him to be a friend. During those years, I had brought several friends and introduced them to Ryan and they purchased or leased GMC vehicles from Granite Run also. I learned this week that all of that loyalty means nothing to granite run or Ryan Irish. As they say, " Live and learn". I left some messages for Ryan, but he never returned my call instead I was turned over to one of his sales team members. It happened to be the same gentleman that I had originally been introduced to by Ryan and told he would handle my new lease. In retrospect, I should have gone someplace else at that time. Although the lease buyout on the terrain appeared to be very clear, I was told that there were fees required from the dealership. One was called a safety check which was approximately $165 and they insisted that that had to be paid because it was to protect them from potential liability in the event I had problems with the vehicle. That is ridiculous and they know it. It's just an excuse to get some money out at the end of the lease. I was also pressured into listening to 15 minutes of BS about extended care coverage which would last for three years or 36,000 miles and would Cost approximately $2600 which by the way was the employee price for that coverage, so the salesman said. More BS! After listening to all this crap and realizing that my relationship meant nothing to these people, I decided to go to Faulkner GMC in West Chester. Here I was treated as though they knew me for a long time which they did not. They were gentlemen, There were No ridiculous fees, And I was offered the same exact Bumper to bumper insurance plan for $1200. I own four vehicles; A Cadillac Escalade, A new Toyota Forerunner, the GMC Terrain and a new Tesla, which I love! Please be very cautious when buying or releasing your next GMC or Buick. I strongly recommend that you not trust granite run and be sure to get quotations from other Dealerships in the area. Hopefully, you'll find people that are honest and do care about loyalty and customer relationships. He won't find that at Granite Run GMC and Buick!!! read more

The only reason that did not happen was because I asked for documentation of the transaction. You had my keys and a copy of my drivers license the entire time. I knew something was shady which is why I asked for something to show I dropped it off. You can't twist that to fit your narrative no matter how hard you try. This review is for purchase of a new vehicle. I cannot speak on the service department, as I have not yet used them. December 2024 was not my first purchase of a GM vehicle, but I would say it was definitely my best experience in GM dealerships. The dealership and the dealer were highly communicative from the beginning, and provided me the best pricing and negotiated a price that was equivalent /close to the low prices offered in Florida dealerships, minus the headache of having to travel hundreds of miles to pick up my vehicle. They went above and beyond, lending me a bow for the truck to surprise the family, and delivering the vehicle to the house. The purchase process was easy, and the I was in and out of the dealership in close just an hour on signing day. Great experience, and I highly suggest using Granite Run for your GM or Buick purchasing needs. read more

I went to there used car to talk to John B., he call me earlier to see what car I was looking for. I told him minivan. Oh, he said we just got a 2013 Honda Odyssey, so I went to see him. The car was not at the used car lot. I had to go back the next day to look at the car. The car had not been seen in the garage yet nor detailing. He told me I would get inspection, oil change and detailing. Anything was going to be done the next day. Went signed papers. Went to get the car detailing not done and I needed to bring it back for them to fix tire sensor. John was not there, Frank sales rep. Would help me. I sat there for a couple of hours. We went out to get my car, they did not have time to detail because it takes an hour and a half. So I went the next day Frank met me at the door. Sat for about an half an hour, my car was done? I said detailing was not done, Frank stated that the car was to old to get it clean, I could tell they did not try. The next day I went to a detail shop and he can get it clean. My take, do not sign papers until everything is done on the car. Stupid me. read more

Welp, let's start with my 9 month old Sierra had to be towed here. Then came the lack of communication from my advisor BRANDON. After 3 days of not hearing about why my new truck had just suddenly shut off and wouldn't start, I called to get an update. After calls with no return call from my advisor BRANDON, I finally got a return call and was told of an issue they thought it was and they had no idea how to remedy the issue. GREAT!!! 3 more days go by without a peep from my advisor about an update. So here I go again trying to call. Called and left a message for my advisor, BRANDON. Guess what? No return call. So I try again the next day, finally I talk to BRANDON. I was told that they found the problem and they were trying to mitigate the issue and hoped my truck would be done by end of day. 3:30 I get a call from my advisor, BRANDON. He tells me that they fixed the problem and that I had a balance. EXCUSE ME, THIS IS UNDER WARRANTY!!! BRANDON advises me that my oil life was at 0% so they completed an oil change and rotated my tires. I tell him there's no way, you guys just did an oil change. He responds with well you were at 0% oil life. As I look at my onstar/GMC app and I read it to BRANDON, it's at 38% oil life. BRANDON says that's impossible it should say 100% we just changed it. I respond with when did you call me to get authorization to complete maintenance on my truck? This is when BRANDON changes his attitude. BRANDON turned into a rude person with a hell of an attitude. He asks if I'm insinuating that he did something wrong. I said I'm telling you that you did something wrong. He continued to be rude so I asked to speak with his manager. Fast forward to Mike. Mike calls me and says I listened to the phone call between you and BRANDON and he immediately apologized. He then tells me that after some research and talking to his technician that worked on my truck, the oil wasn't ever changed and the tires weren't rotated. I continued to tell me that he checked Onstar and I was indeed correct that my oil life was at 38%. He again continued to apologize for BRANDON'S incompetence. Mike, I thank you for being a good person but I'd rather drive an hour out of my way then to have to deal with BRANDON again. If you read the reviews on here about this dealership you will see bad reviews about BRANDON. THEY'RE ALL TRUE. I truly can't believe he's still employed at this dealership. On 09/19/20 spoke to salesman named Kyle about a Sierra 1500 AT4. Negotiated a price over the the phone because I would be coming from New York to pick up the vehicle. 09/20/20 I Call Kyle 1st thing in the morning let him know I wanted to buy the truck could I do any better on the price. Called me back told me that they were really busy and they couldn't go down any further the truck price was listed Incorrectly but they would honor the price. I agreed and wanted to leave a deposit over the phone but again they said they were really busy they would call me back eventually by the end of the day they called me back and said the finance person was unavailable again they were too busy could I call back the next business day which was Monday the 09/22/20 Once again saying that they would honor the Internet price of the vehicle I agreed. 09/22/20 Called them early in the morning and was told that they would no longer honor the price. Spoke to GMC corporate they told me the dealers have their discretion when it comes to pricing. Spoke to management and they rudely declined to honor the price once again but said they would call me back the next day and maybe we could meet in the middle. 09/23/20 Received several calls from different members of the dealership Eventually gave me a price about 1500 over your original price they said they would honor. So I was reluctantly about to agree because I wanted to truck and the same rude manager called me back and said they no longer could sell the truck because it was A demo vehicle and it only had 350 miles on it they needed to put 5000 miles on it ?????REALLY???? My husband and I worked with Jimmy and Dave. When we went 2 weeks ago to just look at cars, both of them were so kind. They both understood and respected us when we said we were just there to look at a car. We ended up coming back to actually trade in and buy a new car today. Jimmy and Dave were so awesome to work with. We didn't feel pressured into anything and were able to have a nice and easy negotiation process. We loved the blunt and real conversation around financing so it was a no brainer to work with them, at both visits! I just wanted to find out a few things about the car, but he was so arrogant I told him he just lost a buyer for the car! Very disappointed in this dealership. My wife and I were extremely interested in a vehicle and told the sales person we would go home and discuss it. We called back an hour later and told him we wanted to move forward but had a few more questions. After about 5-6 hours without a call back we had to check in and they still didnt have the answers. GMC offered us a discount since our family has purchased multiple vehicles from them. At the end of the day, this dealership refused to honor the discount because they wouldn't make enough off the sale. We understand there is a limited supply and even offered to wait for one to be ordered but they still didnt care. We had to call another GMC dealer to help get the vehicle we were looking for. We definitely won't be taking our vehicle here for service either if that's how they want to do business. read more

I fell for the e-mail to come in December 31st to trade in my lease that was two years not up yet. That was a nightmare. G.M Financial kept taking out payments for the old lease. My husband and I were going to buy the truck. We were told to come back the next day so they could inspect, detail and change a gashed tire. We gave 1000 to hold it. He went the next day and it wasent detailed and they said the tire passes inspection but to come later so they could detail it. He said ok but I'm bringing my mechanic just to look over it before I sign. A hour or 2 later they call and say come get your money because we do not want to sell you the truck. Also horrible customer service. We had a hard time getting someone to help us look at vehicles and when we were in the lot we asked how much a certain truck was and were told to go online to find out. Meanwhile they are the salesmen in the lot in front of us. Be cautious and bring a mechanic and they pass inspection when they arent suppose to. The tire had a huge gash in it. read more

He worked his magic along with a manager (forget his name) and they got us into a brand new 2019 Buick Encore... in our monthly budget with no money down!!! I was astonished. I went first time to get a just a regular oil change and tire rotation for my car today. I made the appointment week and half ago prior to my appointment date online and received a 4 e-mails and 2 text messages about confirming the appointment from the dealership. But when I get there service person told me there is no appointment under my name. I showed to him the email I received from them, then he said it's under a different name ( no apologies). I asked him how long it would take since I had my family with me and he said 2 hours. I called the dealer after 2 hours and then they told me it would take 4 hours to finish the service. Finally I called them after 4 hours since I didn't hear from them and service rep told me service salesman called me half hour ago left a message on my phone. Which he didn't called me because I had my phone with me whole time waiting for them to call me. When I get to the dealer ship they called me asking how long it would take me to get there‍. When we explained our frustration to them, both service reps argued with us saying it's not their fault. They made me feel like I'm not welcome there and my business it's not worth of their time. I felt very uncomfortable! This would be my first and last time there. read more

He was very understanding, apologetic, and offered to service vehicle and pay for any bills we have recieved from local repair shop to address vehicle concerns. "Van" followed up with a call to me to offer his apologies and for permission to address the vehicle concerns. The dealership not only covered the cost of repair, but also included funds for the routine oil change I needed on the vehicle. I am sincerely grateful for the efforts they made to make this unfortunate incident right. I may not be at the point to return, however I feel much better about the company and dealership in general and no longer would offer negative feedback to anyone that may ask. read more
