SCAMMERS, DO NOT HIRE!! If company is still listed under Rodrigo Agustin Vela Rivera in ROC DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY. We've filed a complaint against the company, as have others, due to loss of money and incomplete job. We signed a contract in early January and had to continually contact them once they cashed our deposit check. They started installation mid-March and still have not completed the job (June 2024). Calls and texts go unanswered. The initial installer in March did not come back to continue installation after complaining most of the day about how shady the new owner is. An installer who worked for the previous owner came out the following week and installed a little more, but also told us how shady the new owner is. Now we see they are selling the business - after collecting tens of thousands of dollars from others in Prescott as well. read more

Just had our countertops replaced by GK Concepts and all we can say is wow. Started this project a year ago (our delay) and loved the fact that they are showroom, fabricator and installer. So nice only working with one entity. On top of having a great selection of materials, Arsen and Meri were so nice to work with. Great communication, knowledge and we feel, very fair. Their installation crew were gentlemen and very professional. The installation is flawless. I do not recommend this company! 9 weeks to complete this project of replacing granite countertops and backsplash even though the Quartz stone we selected from Arizona Tile was in stock. One delay or excuse after another. It was always me initiating a call to find out status. I had to engage an additional electrician to clean up the mess the original electrician created. They even asked for the final payment before the job was completed . The final completed product we are satisfied with. Meri and Arsen are no longer with this company for obvious reason. This was the fourth business I checked into before purchasing a new kitchen countertop. Sears sent a wonderful young lady with plenty of samples for an in-home estimate. They were way above my budget but taught me alot about the materials I wanted. Then I entered a disastrous relationship with Home Depot until I encountered their sleazy estimator and read the on-line reviews of their Phx-based intallers. Got out of that commitment prior to an order being placed. I trapsed immediately to Arizona Tile who only sells the materials, making me the contractor to find and schedule an installer after the slab was measured, cut, and shipped up from Phoenix. For all these reasons I was wowed by this Granite Countertop company. They have many on-site slabs to choose from, charged by the square foot rather than by the slab, and it was easy to communicate my needs and fears to friendly Mary, who is wife of the owner. She gave me a rough estimate based on my measurements and the price was lower than others for a thicker slab. Her husband came out to measure, possessed fewer people skills than his wife but was smart enough to bring her along. The installers were very professional, had to cut some wallboard to level the top which fit perfectly. They patched the wallboard and even connect the undersink water for no extra charge. (My plumber had charged $200 to initially connect the pipes.) I love that this is a local, family-run business. read more

Every year we save up and do a project and this year's project was upgrading the kitchen. We wanted to keep the original solid wood cabinets, but replace the kitchen tile countertops, wood-top on the center island, and sink. We had four local Prescott estimates done and all four companies were more interested in giving us quotes for new cabinets than providing cost estimates on what we asked for. We were ready to look at companies down in PHX but then we found Granite Kitchens Concepts located behind our favorite little Thai restaurant. What a wonderful company to do business with. Unlike some of the chains where you end up dealing with the sub-sub-sub contractors, this is a family run business, so that is who shows up at your home and we worked together on appointments and installations. The product and installation was outstanding and professional. They even took the extra time and attention to make sure the fit was precise in our 22 year old home. Very happy and would highly recommend using Granite Kitchen Concepts. We will be using them again when it's time to upgrade the bathrooms. read more

Very unprofessional, the owner tracked dirt thru our entire house. Took over an hour to clean the floors after he left. When I mentioned the mess he had no reply. Paid $75 for a bid so he could make a huge mess. Put booties on or remove your shoes. He did not even try to wipe his feet before entering our home. I chose a remnant piece for our guest bath remodel. The next day, the owner came out to take precise measurements. Two days later, two installers came out and finished installing the sink and granite. They sealed it and not only left NO mess but swept my front porch when they were done. I went to their shop after seeing an ad online. I was greeted immediately and the staff was knowledgable about their inventory. He offered to come out and measure my kitchen right then! I agreed to meet him in 30 minutes at my home. I waited 45 minutes at my home past the arranged time set by their employee and he did not show up nor did he call to indicate he would be late. I left since I had other things to do than wait for a contractor to be late. Not impressive customer service and I felt that if he was going to start out the business by being late, then I will not trust him to do such important business with! read more

We were very pleased to discover Granite Kitchen Concepts after our previous attempts to work with two other companies failed us. In contrast to other companies, GKC works directly with the granite importers, so we avoided the middle-man hassle that other companies include in their process. Rather than drive two hours to Phoenix and trudge through a hot warehouse of slabs that may or may not actually be available for purchase, GKC had exactly what we wanted among their inventory in Prescott. They were extremely professional, hard-working, and knowledgeable. The owners, Arsen and Meri, were great to work with, as was their very experienced and talented installation crew. Our kitchen project came out beautiful, and we couldn't be more pleased. We heartily recommend this company to anyone considering granite countertops. read more

Granite Kitchen Concepts (GKC) is a terrible choice for countertops if you have a small job and/or want to save money. A much better option appears below. We wanted countertops for our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The usable kitchen area ended up being 58 sq. ft. and the 2 bathrooms were 22 sq. ft. The bathrooms came from 1 slab, but the kitchen (due to the layout) required 2 slabs. GKC told us that they "charged by the square foot" for materials, vs. paying for the whole slabs required--implying a cost savings for a situation like our kitchen where there would be a large remnant. Well, it turned out that the GKC kitchen quote (using a fairly generic, conservative pattern) was more than 1-1/2 times the quote from another builder for a similar material and pattern. So...this left us with the bathrooms. We really like a particular granite at GKC (their most expensive material, in fact) an put money down for the job. The trouble occurred when it came time to specify how to define the cutting areas on the slab for the countertops. My wife didn't like a fault in the pattern that would have been in a highly visible place on one of the slabs. There were two unsold slabs in stock, which were mirror images of each other in pattern, but apparently were not a "bookmatch" set. We noted that if we used the mirror image slab, that the fault would appear in the sink cutout, and wouldn't be visible. Well, the owner refused to consider this, and (rather rudely) couldn't explain to us why, if there were only two unsold slabs, we couldn't use the other slab. I can only infer that he wanted to make more money by bookmatching the unused remnants of the sold slabs with the "untouchable" slab for sale to a third party. His refusal to be able to answer a rather simple question sent up a red flag to me that maybe he was doing something shady with the materials that he had already sold to someone else. In any case, it was clear from his condescending tone that he really didn't want our business...so we cancelled the order. The only positive experience we had with GKC is that we met a nice man in the fabrication area while we were waiting on the owner. We were favorably impressed by him, and perhaps GKC can do a good job with fabrication and installation--we just never got that far. Now the good news--we found an approach that worked out much better for us. We had resisted travelling to the valley to find countertop materials, but were delighted by the huge selection at Cactus Stone in Phoenix. We found materials there that we like much better than what we found at the Prescott Arizona Tile store or at GKC. We got the bid from a local builder (in our case, Arizona Granite) that was lower cost than GKC, and we are very pleased with the quality and with the installation. read more

The owner, Arsen, came to my house to measure for kitchen countertops. When he left he used my neighbor's driveway to turn around and backed over her flower pot and several imported terracotta tiles, turning them into dust. He hesitated a few seconds then sped off. My neighbor contacted me as she witnessed him leaving my home and told me what happened. She also had other witnesses and has it is on film. I contacted Arsen and told him we were aware of his actions and that he should contact my neighbor and compensate her for his stupidity. He stated that he would call her. It has now been almost 2 months and he has not contacted her. Based on this behavior I would greatly recommend anyone looking for granite or flooring to avoid this company. If Arsen, or anyone working for him, damages your property they will ignore it and vanish like so much smoke. I would give them a negative 1 but that wasn't available. read more

We stopped by Granite Kitchen Concepts on our way home from another company finding them on Google. We were greeted at the door as we approached. We told the owner what we were looking for and he walked with us around the yard showing us the granite. Within 20 minutes we found what we wanted. The owner offered to come to our home to measure in 30 minutes. He arrived on time, measured and gave us the price. His installers were very polite and accommodating. We decided we wanted a change on one of our corners after it was installed and George ground and polished the corner right in our home with out making a mess. We are so pleased with the granite we chose. And even more pleased with Granite Kitchen Concepts. read more
