The initial installation could not be completed because the sink was cutout incorrectly. To their credit, customer service was great, and they corrected the issue. After the countertops were installed, I noticed the sealant was uneven, and they again responded promptly and sent someone out to fix it. I genuinely appreciated how both of those issues were handled.
However, my experience took a much more concerning turn afterward. I discovered that one of my security cameras had been moved and was no longer facing my door. Footage from another camera also appeared to show a teenager tapping on my garage door window, seemingly to check whether it was secured. I sent the videos to my sales associate, who said she would pass them along to management.
After having to follow up myself, the response I received was that they weren't sure why the camera had been moved because there was no reason to move it, and that the individuals involved had been spoken to.
I understand that mistakes can happen, and I appreciated the customer service I received with the countertop issues. However, when something happens on your property that raises security concerns, I believe it deserves more than a delayed response relayed through a sales associate. In my opinion, a phone call directly from the manager, acknowledging what happened and offering a sincere apology, would have been appropriate.
The quality of customer service during the initial problems gave me confidence in the company, which made the lack of direct communication and accountability afterward especially disappointing. The countertop issues were corrected, but the way the security concerns were handled left a lasting negative impression. Good customer service is not just about fixing installation mistakes; it is also about how a company responds when something more serious happens.
