On September 28, 2022 Grange insured VH, rear ended a car of 4 passengers while in traffic on 70E bound freeway. VH was likely on her phone and not focused on the road. Each passenger jerked and hit an item in the vehicle. The rear passengers hit the front passenger seats, the driver hit the steering wheel, and the front passenger hit her knee on the dash board and felt a shift in her back. Jessica, with Grange sent a letter on October 21, 2022 noting that the impact was "unlikely" to cause bodily harm. Does Jessica not know that being rear ended unexpectedly by a driver on their phone or not paying attention caused each passenger tremendous mental and emotional stress and anguish? A party was indeed injured and Jessica has taken the matter lightly obviously. This entity and it's employees need EXPOSED!. This entity allows it's insured to rear end driver's without any responsibility or accountability. BEWARE on the road because if you are rear ended by a Grange insurance AT FAULT driver, the insured will get off Scott free and no concern for the harms in totality the victims have suffered will be considered. Grange cares LESS about wrong doing, allows it and condones it. Grange cares LESS about the harms their insured caused to 4 passengers. Grange employees think they are medical professionals or some GOD that gauges one's pain, suffering and injuries post their at-fault insured slamming into the back of 4 passengers unexpectedly. I have been a customer with State Farms for the past 20 years. Recently divorced unexpectedly after 32 years of marriage I was very vulnerable on who I should cover my young son and myself through. I felt I was paying way too high premiums and decided to look elsewhere and connected online with a cheaper Progressive policy for 3 cars and a renter's insurance. I have been with them just over a year and my premiums for my son who is single, 20 years of age and still lives with me. He has a clean driving record, and works full time. Turns out not only does Grange afford me and my son reasonable rates, but they offered us higher personal coverage limits, towing, and a rental car if we should need it. I am very excited I found Grange. Especially for the swift policy they placed on my son and me and I can pay this right through my Huntington bank account. Grange is a great insurance company. Their declaration pages are easy to read and undertand, the itemizations to see what everything costs is great. I am speaking about the homeowners insurance. Ive been with them about 3-4 years and I do not see ridiculous price increases. I was with Nationwide insurance company for auto insurance from the time I was 16 until I was 56 and got tired of being gouged the last few years. Also same thing happened with renters insurance and homeowners, they started raising the rates every year. We never made a claim on homeowwners insurance in 35 years of owning homes. I needed to do someththing. I switched away to another insurance company for about 5 years and had a poor agent. She would not answer the phone. Then I switched agents about 5 years ago and my agent suggested Grange and I could not be happier. No steep escalation in premiums. I don't tend to make stupid claims and they treat me fairly. When I call the toll free number they are responsive. It is well worth it to work with a cooperative company instead of one who is paying executives big money, and sponsors high cost advertising probably to secure perks for top management. Grange is not like that, they perform well and are reasonable cost. They have earned my trust. read more

I work with an insurance broker and they found Grange for me. Shorty after being a Grange customer, I had the scariest experience in my life. I flipped my husbands car on black ice early in the morning on the way to work...I think I was in a bigger wreck emotionally than my body or the car was, well what was left of the car. Two days before Thanksgiving, my husband and I woke up to learn our basement was under two feet of water! We didn't even know where to start! (Besides knowing we needed to get the water out of the house.) We called our long-time agent Ron Creech at Grange and he told us all the information we needed to get our claim started (our deductible amount, our maximum coverage), and gave us recommendations for a restoration company. He let us know the expected timeline for the Claims Team to reach out to us as well. Our Claims Property Agent, Ken Mason, was just as fantastic! He immediately got us enrolled in the online site to upload pictures of damaged property, processed our receipts from contractors, even helped us log our own hours we spent cleaning our basement for paid hours against our claim. Bright was the agent I spoke with on today. He was articulate and had a great personality! Answered all of my questions (I had a lot of em) and even asked if I could think of more. Patient, caring and even offered some great advice as well. I honestly came away with all my worries squashed! Sometimes, when you need more answers than your original query, some people seem to want to rush you off the phone and then, you will need to call back and repeat. In today's unusual norms, the last thing you really want to do..is repeat yourself. This agent was friendly just enough that I could feel at ease, knowing no question was too small or too difficult to be addressed. Grange was suggested by the insurance agency we used while sorting out Homeowners Insurance requirements when buying a home. While we only use it for auto insurance with two vehicles, our experience with Grange has been great. Their customer service agents are very helpful and clear about proper procedures for our state (PA) and our rate is less with two vehicles than it ever was with just my sedan. With other companies we've used in the past (Geico, Progressive, Travelers, Liberty Mutual) rates were a lot higher for the EXACT same coverage plus roadside assistance, etc. I have luckily never had to put in a claim, so I cannot speak to that experience, but for having the coverage we need at a price that makes sense, Grange has been great. I sort of consider Grange a "mom and pop" agency and I mean that in a good way as I have never felt in the dark about what's going on with my policies. The agent Jack was most helpful in assisting me to file a claim on an accident that I was involved in. He walked me through step by step and answered all of my questions. I gave Jack all of the details that I had gathered at the time of the accident. Police did not come to the scene but were contacted. We both exchanged information but left out key things that the agent Jack did ask me. This helped me to understand the importance of asking the right questions while at the scene of an accident. The type of vehicles involved, the license plate number, and who was present inside of the automobile are some of the important information that I forgot to ask as well as write down. We have been with Grange Insurance through Morgan Insurance agency over 20 years and have to say they are the best insurance agency I've ever dealt with. Our roof was damaged in a hail storm on the 9th of April. I was aware of the bad storm and even went to the basement for shelter. I looked for damage but didn't see any but I'm not a roofer. I had to file a collision repair for minor damage and the lady that helped me was kind and efficient. I was on the phone with her for 15 minutes tops and she already set up an estimate with a body shop they recommend this week! My adjuster Scott called me within an hour to gather some more information but the call only lasted 15 minutes, granted I just hit a little wall on my driveway with no one involved but myself so that could have been the reason for my short calls.
