Just a bit off-side Kapitolyo is a cozy little cabin-like Italian bistro. Grande Torino is one of the more legitimate authentic Italian places I've gotten the pleasure of trying. First things is that the place is just beautiful. It's warm, intimate, even romantic with the right person. The wooden panels and accents really accentuate the intimate atmosphere of the place. The menu also exemplifies how true Grande Torino is to its Italian roots. The Bismark is great. All of the toppings worked well together to create a well-balanced pizza. The crust is perfectly thin, and it's one of the pizzas wherein I actually like eating the crust. The egg really made the difference and pushed the dish from just good. The Vongole, while a classic, was one of the better Vongole dishes I've had. The clam juices were strong and its flavor really came through. The noodles were perfectly al dente and I was in pasta heaven. Pair the meal with a glass of wine and it will be the perfect relaxing night from a long week. read more
