This is a great place to get very fresh Canadian made buffalo mozzarella and burrata for an amazing price. It's the same Bella Casata that I find at my Longos, but much cheaper and with longer expiration dates. For example the Canadian burrata runs $16-18 at Longos and was $10 here! Brie was on special $10 a kg, so my kid got a huge wedge for $4. Sone of that went into the freezer. We also got a gorgeous braid of bocconcini. This would be gorgeous on a large cheese plate. We just ripped it into pieces and made it part of a rustic and yummy caprese. There was also a nice special on prosciutto and we did not buy enough as most of it disappeared minutes after arriving home.

I have never been to any of their locations as I only like really simple cheese.. nothing too cheesy. But I am glad that I finally visit one of their locations. The prices are very reasonable and the selection is good. The quality is outstanding. What attracted me to Mario's Meats is the availability of grass-fed beef at a reasonable price. Mario even has wild game meat in the back such as elk, bison, rabbit, venison and others. You should know that Mario's Meats offer delivery if you meet a certain minimum to make the drive worthwhile. Overall, I cannot recommend Mario's Meats enough. I'll be going back very soon for some Mennonite-raised chicken thighs and eggs, as well as grass-fed ground beef. To be clear, Mario has both, 100% grass-fed beef throughout the lifecycle of the cow and grass finished beef, whereby the cow is put on a grass-only diet during the last 3 months before slaughter.
