I've had this place bookmarked for a few months, waiting for a day when I could swing that way…read morerunning errands. Imagine my surprise when I pulled into the driveway and realized that I had been there years ago. Years later, my observations still hold. This is a great place to get very fresh Canadian made buffalo mozzarella and burrata for an amazing price. It's the same Bella Casata that I find at my Longos, but much cheaper and with longer expiration dates. For example the Canadian burrata runs $16-18 at Longos and was $10 here! Brie was on special $10 a kg, so my kid got a huge wedge for $4. Sone of that went into the freezer. We also got a gorgeous braid of bocconcini. This would be gorgeous on a large cheese plate. We just ripped it into pieces and made it part of a rustic and yummy caprese. There was also a nice special on prosciutto and we did not buy enough as most of it disappeared minutes after arriving home.

My Experience Working Here…read more This was a very difficult work experience for me, particularly because of my experience working under the manager, Marina. In my experience, Marina's management style often made employees feel intimidated and closely monitored. At times, the environment felt overly strict, and I often felt that I had to walk on eggshells to avoid making a mistake or causing concern. I also experienced a significant amount of micromanagement, including frequent instructions and involvement in routine tasks. At times, I felt that employees were not given enough independence to carry out their responsibilities. Some decisions seemed to create additional stress without improving the overall efficiency of the workplace. I found the way employees were sometimes spoken to and treated discouraging. A manager can maintain standards and provide direction while still treating employees with respect and professionalism. Another concern I personally witnessed was customers being discussed after they had left the store. I believe customer matters should be handled with discretion and professionalism. I also have serious concerns about the company's employment practices. During my time working there, I personally became aware of two workers whose immigration status, to my knowledge, did not authorize them to work in Canada. I found this concerning and believe employment practices should comply with Canadian law and be fair and transparent. Overall, my experience was extremely negative. The company may have good products and loyal customers, but management has a significant impact on employee morale and the workplace environment. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend working here. I hope the company takes employee concerns seriously and examines its management and employment practices. If I could give this place a 0 I would.

I really enjoyed the food so decided to check this location out because I was in the area. The size of the store is quite large and there's a parking lot on site so it's easily accessible by car. In an industrial area, I'm not sure about taking public transit to here. They have cheese, meat, pantry items, dessert, and a hot table. It was mentioned in reviews of the other locations; you can't do your grocery shopping here, but you can still pick up a number of things. Their specialty is cheese so there's all different types of Italian cheeses to buy. If you're a fan of ricotta, they were having a sale yesterday (Feb 12). The number of Italian biscuits and cookies is impressive as well. * Tre Marie Straciatella Milk & Chocolate Chip Wafers - Not a Grande Cheese product, but they carry a number of products from this company. I bought the milk and chocolate chip wafers, which were delicious. We have literally two sticks of wafer remaining since yesterday afternoon. * Hot Table - I'm not sure what they call it, but it was so good. A long sandwich with ground sausage, sautéed peppers, onion and a lot of garlic was our lunch yesterday. It's about a foot long and stuffed with ingredients so 3 to 4 people can easily have one. And it was under $10 so reasonably priced. * Day Old Stuff - By the register, there's a refrigerated area that has day old stuff. For $2, I bought a pack of pizza (4 slices). I haven't tried it yet, but it looked good. Good for: Italian eats, cheese, deli meat, lunch/dinner

We spent $10 and we had to throw it out. Disappointed to say the least. Don't buy this brand of ricotta you'll be disappointed too.
