When you visit this place, instantly from the atmosphere you can tell that it offers authentic Italian ingredients, meats, and cheeses. They have a huge cheese section, meat section, pizza, gelato, frozen ice cream, olive oil, salsa, biscottis, novelty snacks like tiramisu cookies, and drinks like San Pelligrino. The people that work there are friendly. The lighting and paint of the atmosphere is a little drab. The walls could use white repainting. The prices are a somewhat higher. My go to items are their italian pasta sauces, which are lighter and better tasting compared to ragu at no frills. I also like their frozen ice creams, especially their hazelnut ice cream. The brand of frozen ice cream they sell is only limited to a few speciality stores. Welcome addition to the area. Right beside a Korean grocery store HMart. They should consider having a mini food court and selling some meals inside. The HMart next door sells lunch meals in their mini food court.

I don't think there is another place in town offering four varieties of Ricotta. Overall, you won't be able to do all your grocery shopping for the week at Grande Cheese. But that's not the intent of the store either. Looking for specialty types of cheese? That's the place to visit.

Yummy blackcurrant jam from Croatia.

Finally came here today, after walking past each time I go to H Mart, next door. The name put me off really, because I don't eat cheese. And the place says cheese outlet. However, I walked in today and was pleasantly surprised at what they had to offer. They do have a lot of cheese but they have lots of groceries, meats, breads etc. A really nice selection of european foods. They had some scottish shortbread and had my favourite flavour of jam. I love all things blackcurrant flavoured because all purple foods are blackcurrant flavoured, in the UK. Not grape flavour, like here. Best thing was that the jam was only $2.79, what a steal. I bought a good selection of cold cuts too. Nice gourmet market with a misleading name. I would recommend a walk around the aisles.

Picked up the meats and two of the cheeses from Grande.

I was expecting a little more variety walking in here for cheese. I drove past Grande Cheese Factory after work one night and decided to go back the next day. I typically purchase my cheeses from Longos and they have a great selection. I figured a place like this would be even better in terms of selection. I was wrong. There was a lot of cheese available but of the same type. The one thing that was great was their prosciutto selection. I believe there were about 4 different kinds, these were great and we'll priced.

My Experience Working Here…read more This was a very difficult work experience for me, particularly because of my experience working under the manager, Marina. In my experience, Marina's management style often made employees feel intimidated and closely monitored. At times, the environment felt overly strict, and I often felt that I had to walk on eggshells to avoid making a mistake or causing concern. I also experienced a significant amount of micromanagement, including frequent instructions and involvement in routine tasks. At times, I felt that employees were not given enough independence to carry out their responsibilities. Some decisions seemed to create additional stress without improving the overall efficiency of the workplace. I found the way employees were sometimes spoken to and treated discouraging. A manager can maintain standards and provide direction while still treating employees with respect and professionalism. Another concern I personally witnessed was customers being discussed after they had left the store. I believe customer matters should be handled with discretion and professionalism. I also have serious concerns about the company's employment practices. During my time working there, I personally became aware of two workers whose immigration status, to my knowledge, did not authorize them to work in Canada. I found this concerning and believe employment practices should comply with Canadian law and be fair and transparent. Overall, my experience was extremely negative. The company may have good products and loyal customers, but management has a significant impact on employee morale and the workplace environment. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend working here. I hope the company takes employee concerns seriously and examines its management and employment practices. If I could give this place a 0 I would.

Their selection of imported Italian dried pastas, and olive oils were impressive. I picked up some D.O.P Morgantino olive oil which is FANTASTIC on everything. Their A Bumba Calabrish spicy oil is also awesome, had to stock up! Their jarred mushrooms in oil are to die for, served on top of toasted baguette. I want to try their Burrata next time :)

I visited Nature's Emporium for the first time two Saturdays ago. What made me drop by? I found out…read morethat it sells Nanashake products, including their Nanapops and Nanabowls. This store is in Vaughan. For years, I have driven by this store, saw all the traffic coming in and out of this plaza, and never thought about stopping by. Well, I did it at long last! There was plenty of parking. Major Mackenzie Drive does get busy on weekends, so I had to wait a bit to make a left into the lot. I was so happy stepping foot into this store. I saw a beverage section with iced coffees and Kombucha. The variety was amazing, from dairy-free iced coffees, to sugar-free kombucha. I was mesmerized by spiralized veggies. I never thought about spiralizing butternut squash. I'm not a major squash fan, but I picked up some and made a tasty turkey stirfry with it. I'm a fan now. The produce section is vast. Everything looked so pristine and fresh. It was like you could do a fancy photoshoot, but you're really there to get some produce and ruin the displays. I saw mini watermelons that were adorable. I then moved into the prepared foods section. I saw these massive pizzas that you bake at home. It's cool if you want to customize them by adding more toppings and change up your takeout plans. My mom would have been pleased to have seen bags of chicken feet. It's like this place made a special section for her. I loved the beyond dairy section. I tend to not do dairy that much, because I'm borderline lactose-intolerant and I find that dairy increases my mucus production (how charming, I know). However, ice cream with full-fat dairy is my weakness. I loved seeing dairy-free sour cream and butter, milk alternatives, and much more. Oh, and then there's the plant-based food section. One of my favourite brands is Gardein. It was nice seeing the stuffed turk'y and then other brands offering their take on a plant-based turkey dinner. I did find my Nanapops and Nanabowls. This summer, I travelled to Sobeys at Laird and Wicksteed to get them. With all Nature's Emporium stores now carrying them, it's so much closer for me to get my fix, even though I do love this specific Sobeys. This store offers three different Nanabowl flavours, which impressed me. I got the remaining two flavours that I have never had: chocolate biscotti and strawberry cheesecake. This store is massive. The vitamin and natural makeup sections were impressive. I spent a long time browsing everything. Shopping here can be hazardous to my bank account. I went to pay for my items. I paid with a credit card, which was smooth. The woman cashing me out looked at my Nanabowls and asked whether I have had them before. I let her know that I've had the banana bread bowl and it was so delicious that I needed to try the other two flavours. I like the hometown feel at this place, as staff members are equally curious and excited about products here as their customers. They are also so friendly. I absolutely loved shopping here. I will be back because I feel like I've only absorbed a tiny subset of the products that are offered here. I hope to get some prepared foods. The soups look amazing, too, which are perfect for the cooler weather that we're enduring now. (403)
