After months of research and digging, I found an incredibly well regarded performance shop named "PetrolWerks" located in Long Island, NY. I spoke with the owner Moe Khan (Can't tag he blocked me) about undertaking the completion of the engine swap and was promised a 6-8 month timeline for full completion (Brakes, Suspension, Electrical, etc...) There has been numerous interruptions on his shops behalf (Eviction from previous property for safety compliance issues) which delayed the build for a bit. Eventually I saw a post by a very well-known enthusiast in my area that had to "repossess" his car from PetrolWerks and he explained to me in full detail the whereabouts of my car, and the condition it was likely in... I was very surprised to hear this, and made every attempt possible to get my car out of the place it was. After weeks of trying to reach someone with nothing but silence, I decided to just "show up" with a flatbed behind me. When I called the shop to tell them I was outside with a truck to pick up my E30. I had to go to a secondary location where Moe told me the car was, and I wanted to throw up when I saw the condition/state the car was left in... This car had a low mileage fully refreshed/resealed/machined S52 swapped into it, with every part to complete the swap twice over. When I arrived, every single part I had provided was "missing" and the engine bay had a TREE growing through it. Upon inspection once I brought the car home, the damages from the neglect left me no choice but to send the car to be crushed/scrapped. I always wanted to be the guy that still owned his first car, but unfortunately thanks to Moe Khan and his team at PetrolWerks that will never happen. ***If you are reading this, and you have a vehicle being "worked on" at PetrolWerks, my advice is simple: GO GET YOUR CAR!***Lo

I do not use social media at all, so I was taken advantage of brutally. I found photos of my motor in another persons car at one point and was never told anything about why. Then "oddly" my car wasn't running and had no motor in it for over a year and a half????? I can only imagine what was happening to my motor during that time. Also I was yessed to death and promised everything and completely ignored when it came to the majority of important things that I wanted. The workmanship is AWFUL!!! I saw them set my car on fire while they were rushing to weld things together so that I could take the car back after I had threatened to tow it out due to their lack of doing anything for so long. It was in pieces for nearly 2 years! Its easy to find a person that throws high quality parts in to a car. Its another thing to find a shop that knows how to do it properly. This shop just doesn't know how to do anything well except for stacking cars all over the property. I also hated how Moe always knew how to justify how things were going. He knows how to talk and make you feel good while he ruins the dreams you have. Also, to all the guys that support each other on social media and business with Petrolwerks, you're only as good as the shops you work with and you should be embarrassed to support this one. This is a personal review but I almost never wrote it. The motivation to write it came from witnessing numerous other examples of other people being taken advantage of (that aren't writing reviews for themselves) and Moe not seeming to care at all. It should've been a dead giveaway seeing 1000 cars stacked up outside in a thousand pieces. as if that wasn't bad enough, the shop is a disgusting workspace. If you have a nice car you shouldn't bring it to a shop that is this embarrassing to the neighborhood or the car world in general. I'm sorry I didn't pay attention to other bad reviews. Needed an auto start on my station car and had some time before work one day. Did a google search…read moreand Parkway was the closest to my location. I didn't think they would be able to squeeze in a walk in install in the middle of January but i figured it would try. They were clearly busy but they managed to squeeze me in and get me out in about 2 hours. During that 2 hours i sat in the middle of their store and watched a bunch of customers come in and out. The staff and owner (or manager, not sure) were extremely pleasant and friendly. An older gentleman came in and asked if they could help him program the clock in his car, He didn't buy anything from Parkway, nor was the stereo a previous purchase, but the guy behind the counter went out to help him free of charge. For 2 hours they helped customers and chatted with me. They gave me a full training on how to use my auto start and as a bonus the remote gave me the ability to lock/unlock my doors.(the factory remotes had been lost for years so i had to use the key to lock/unlock the doors). I would whole heartedly recommend this place to people

Wow , now I know why there are so many horrible reviews!…read more I spoke to a Johnny little over a week ago who was friendly, quoted me 350 to install my new pioneer touchscreen with 2 speakers/amp. I followed up and called yesterday, speaking to a Danny, who told me to come in tomorrow to see the vehicle - so I drove 90+ min from where I live in eastern li to come in -- I identify myself and Danny instantly is rude "Is that suppose to mean anything" I explain we spoke yesterday on phone and ask if he can come outside and look at my car and he says " why i know what your car is" an I'm like to show you my inventory an he is so disgruntled an is quoting me so much higher than Johnny, double (who does accounting and did sales , he would know the right price) an I go back inside with him an ask him basic questions about possibly getting a backup cam and possibly a dash cam. Whenever I tried to get a word in he'd rudely cut me off mid sentence and talk at me, not with me. Like holy hell. I politely ask him can I please finish my sentence an he tells me "this isn't working for me" and I'm like are you serious I just drove nearly 2 hours to do business with you and your not even letting me talk. He goes "so talk" with a smirk on his face. No sympathy, no nothing. He goes on to be more mad that I'm not buying any of his weak inventory telling me it'll be 500 bucks to install a touchscreen, backup cam, and dash cam -- that's RIDICULOUS. He's like "if you get my backup and dash cam, it'll be 600 in cash - that's a deal." Which was not a deal, more like a steal. Products were already marked up. Telling me to pay in cash so it clearly won't be a record of his foul play. Acting like it takes 5+ hours to install 3 basic things. I'm an audio visual technician, I know better. Nor do I deal with rude people question cutting me, talking over me, talking at me, and can't even recall the day before! I only considered this place because "Crutchfield" where I got my parts from said this was the closest installer. If they only knew how toxic this place was and is! I truly feel bad for anyone going here! I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL
