Mark at Mobile Auto Repair- Elite Specialty in East Northport is the best of the best mechanics…read more He is highly knowledgeable on both foreign & domestic cars. He worked many years for Mercedes Benz and then decided to go into his own business. He went into mobile auto repair. Anyone who has been stuck with a car in a parking lot or your own driveway knows how awful and traumatic this can be. Marc is knowledgeable , courteous and professional and did I mention reasonable. I had 3 batteries put in the same car over 3 Years. After using his diagnostic testing equipment, he checked the alternator & because the battery was 100% dead, Mark could not get an accurate reading. He went over the situation with me. It could be the alternator but not being certain. He said the best way to go is to get a 24 month guaranteed battery & he could get an accurate reading on the alternator. We did this, he went got a battery, installed it and the alternator is fine. Mark not only saved my mind and also my money. Battery is working strong. Don't hesitate using Mark at Elite Auto. Did I mention his prices are reasonable!

This mobile mechanic took my car, my upfront money, and the parts I personally purchased for the repair. The second he got his hands on my money and parts, he completely ghosted me and ignored all my phone calls. After almost a year of zero communication, I finally had to hire a tow truck to rescue my car from his shop. To make matters worse, my car was completely inoperable when I got it back. It is in much worse condition now than when I gave it to him, and I have no idea what he did to it. He stole my money, stole my parts, and ruined my vehicle. Avoid this scammer at all costs!

I almost never leave reviews, but Brian and the team at Islip AutoWerks absolutely earned this one…read more I brought my car in expecting a routine service and left wondering why I ever went anywhere else. Brian replaced my entire braking system, performed an oil change, thoroughly inspected the vehicle, checked all of my fluids and critical components, and even provided photo documentation so I could see exactly what was done. That level of transparency is incredibly rare. What impressed me even more was his honesty. I was fully expecting a much higher bill based on the quality of the work, but he actually undercharged me. I ended up tipping him because I genuinely felt like I owed him more than what he charged. Brian is humble, down-to-earth, and clearly takes pride in doing things the right way. Pulling into the lot and seeing McLarens and Maseratis being serviced tells you high-end owners trust him, but he treated me and my car with the exact same care and respect. Finding a mechanic you can trust is difficult. Finding one who's honest, meticulous, communicates everything with photos, and charges fairly is almost impossible. Islip AutoWerks has earned a customer for life, and I'll be recommending Brian to everyone I know. Jason Finnerty
