Located in the space where Cub Foods used to be, Grand Market is a primarily Asian specialty store, with lots of common grocery items too. I still like the nearby Super H better, but Grand Market has its own strengths. I think it is better organized and easier to find stuff. Aisles are clearly marked. Interesting choices of products - not just Asian, but Spanish, Polish and even African. On an exploratory shopping trip without a real buying agenda, I found giant avocados for 50 cents, an Asian fruit cocktail can with a mix of papaya, guava, mango and bananas, and a multitude of noodles of many colors and flavors. While Super H offers more exotica, this place can is more of a regular grocery store in terms of its offerings, right down to the in-store bank and a little restaurant with Asian cuisine. read more
