This is one of my favorite Asian grocery stores. It is located in the old strip mall. The store is large. It has enough space for everything. There is large parking lot available. The staff is friendly and helpful. Although, it may not be the most clean and organized oriental store, they have fresh vegetables and goods. On Friday's and weekends the most food is available. Roasted ducks, roasted pork, steamed roll with Vietnamese ham are my favorite. That can help me out when I ran out of idea for what is for the dinner. This place doesn't have fresh seafood. But you can find live crawfish and live crab here sometime. There are many frozen fishes and shrimp. Overall, the prices are reasonable. The restroom is located in the back of the store. Watch out though, the restroom is a little dirty and the store smells orientally. I would 100% recommend this oriental market to anyone.

Love this place. My wife and I frequently visit for for groceries she cannot find anywhere else. The staff is very friendly and always quick to assist us if we need help. My wife is Vietnamese and she has me stop here often by myself. The staff is always patient with me and helps me find the items I need!

To make Vietnamese coffee never saw a squeeze bottle before! Always used the can condensed.

Nice family owned store with a large selection of asia products. Reasonable prices. Vegetables and fruits always fresh and nicely packed; got this time fresh lychee and mangosteen. Baked goods are available on the weekends.

Honey

A nice selection of produce! Store is clean and organized. They also carry locally sourced honey! This is a pleasant surprise, I typically can only get quality honey from farmers markets but so glad Saigon carries it.

Had what I needed. Very busy little store. Even purchased extra items I could not find elsewhere.

The best market to buy the asian food and grocery. The price is cheaper than H-mart. But they don't have more fresh Seafood.

Don't forget that on Wednesday afternoons they get a big old pile of delicious Vietnamese sandwiches too.

My husband shops there at least three times a week, which says a lot about how much we've relied on it over the years. We genuinely like this store, but lately we've noticed a decline in the quality of the produce. Things like tomatoes appearing shriveled or, at times, even moldy. It's disappointing, especially for a place we trust for everyday shopping. I also attempted to place an order for Easter dinner, something we've done many times in the past. Prices have increased quite a bit, so this year I decided to keep it simple and order just the lamb. The online system didn't allow me to select the date I needed, so I called for help. That's where things became frustrating. I spoke with Chef Jose, and communication was difficult. I asked if he spoke Spanish, since it's my native language and I thought it might help. His response felt dismissive, mentioning he speaks Italian and other things, but the interaction itself came across as borderline rude and unhelpful. That impression was later echoed by the front desk, who suggested I contact another chef. Chef Doug, on the other hand, was the complete opposite. Even though we played a bit of phone tag, he consistently followed up with a helpful and kind attitude, which I truly appreciated. Overall, this is still a market we want to love. It has been part of our routine and community. But between the recent produce issues and inconsistent customer service, it has been a bit disappointing compared to what it once was. I'm hopeful they find their way back to the quality and warmth that made them our favorite local market in the first place. BTW, one must place the order all the way to the paying screen to be able to select the desire pick up date.

Meijer Unicorn Vanilla Iced Doughnut: Although there are plenty of specialty doughnuts that I enjoy…read moremore, one of my favorite types of "basic" doughnuts is vanilla iced yeast/raised doughnuts. For a grocery store bakery, I've been impressed with the doughnuts at my local Meijer (although the selection is sadly wildly inconsistent). Walking past the bakery, I did a double take when I spotted these unicorn doughnuts. They looked incongruous in a grocery store and more like something I'd find at a gourmet doughnut shop or artisan bakery. Being a dude, I'm not really into unicorns, but these doughnuts looked too spectacular to pass up. At the risk of being called a girlie man by Arnold, I surreptitiously nabbed one from the display. Not only were the doughnuts coated in sweet vanilla icing, but there was also a thick and colorful buttercream mane. I found the dough to have a nice thick and chewy texture while also being light and pillowy. The flavor was a combination of butter in the body of the dough, along with vanilla from the icing. Unlike some chains (Dunkin), the layer of icing was thick and satisfying and that's before factoring in the extra frosting. These mythical doughnuts are Doughboy approved , but can we get something manlier next time? Doughboy_Food_Reviews

I would like to give the store 2 starts because of my horrible experienced today with a customer…read moreservice lady Elizabeth . I had a disappointing experience at the customer service desk. I initially went there to request a price adjustment and then asked to purchase a Mega Millions lottery ticket. While I was filling out the ticket, the employee moved to another register to assist a different customer. When I finished, I informed her that I was ready. Instead of explaining the process calmly, she raised her voice and told me to go to the back of the line again . I explained that I have a disability and difficulty walking, which was apparent while I was moving around the store, but I did not feel that my circumstances were handled with patience or courtesy. I speak with an accent , I don't understand why such a rude attitude against me, when she saw me having difficulty walking. why if I have a disability elizabeth customer service wanted for me to go back in line , when I was in line first . I have never had anyone treated me without respect and I hope the store manager sees this posted , and provided appropriate customer human services guidance !
