I went to customer service around 8:30 pm Monday September 7th and the women that was in costumer service screamed at me and talked to me in rude manners then I talked to the manger and he said he couldn't do anything because the receipt was left in the bag that I had forgotten. I showed him my bank account with my purchases and they still didn't do anything. I imagine that if someone forgets their grocery they leave it somewhere but I didn't get my money or my things back. I'm really disappointed with the employees they have working here. I won't be back here again and won't recommend to others.

This Food4Less location just happened to be one of the nearest to me at the time while out in Melrose Park. As for this visit, I nearly had to circle around to find a parking spot to park my vehicle because the parking lot itself was congested the time I visited. The atmosphere inside felt very relaxed, a very chill vibe for sure! Other than that, I must say that it was a break shopping here in comparison to a Jewel-Osco, Pete's Fresh Market, or Mariano's location. Now along with the shelved items being organized, the market is acceptably clean, and the aisles have plenty of maneuvering space. Moreover, this Food4Less location has a very warehouse-like appearance. I particularly searched for the items I visited for like the box of Jimmy Dean Plant-Based Patty, Egg & Cheese Croissant Sandwiches, and Boost nutrition drinks which I found without any assistance needed. Other shelved items I took a liking to were a box of limited-edition throwback of pop tarts, a box of Jimmy Dean Plant-Based Crumbles, and a 12 fl oz of ez night sleep which I was shocked at its price. For the most part, I enjoyed shopping at Food4Less, but I just cannot see myself shopping at this particular location on a regular basis due to it being out of my way. However, I have noted the nearest location to me on the west-side of Chicago which happens to be in the Austin neighborhood. ~Best believe it, hunny!. ~ Thomas G

Walmart does beat the next brick and mortar price by several dollars, but I'm not sure that after climbing the shelf a few times to try to find it that I was still getting a bargain. I gave up and sent David in-- he's six foot three and should do better than I did... or maybe he will get randomly lucky and find an employee who will help. Looks like a successful excursion, the bank app just alerted me to a purchase. Lets wait a few minutes to see if he comes out with the motor oil (it might just be treats for the meows instead) Okay! Meow food and oil-- but he had to compromise. The person who helped told him that this location NEVER has the 23 dollar five quart. It's kind of a hit or miss; I've had good experiences and not-so-good experiences. No matter what time of the day you come here at, I swear this Walmart is always busy. I've never seen it slow on any day or any time. The parking can be kind of hectic because of this, too, but I usually just park in the back anyway to avoid it (gotta get my steps in). This Walmart is BIG and has everything a Walmart requires - food, clothes, toiletries, electronics, decor, seasonal stuff, etc. Sometimes I find their shelves empty and running out of a lot of stuff. Sometimes I find their shelves fully stocked, it's really up in the air when I come in. I've usually always had a good experience with the staff though; they're pretty helpful and nice. The worst experience I had was when my sister and I bought a TV here for our apartment. We bought a TV and had a good experience with the employees; however, when we opened up the TV at home there was a huge crack in it and it was not a workable TV because of it. We went back to customer service and it turns out they re-sold a returned, broken TV. They said it should have never been on their shelves. It was just a whole ordeal and took kinda long and then we had to buy another TV since that was the last one within the price range we were looking for. I've been to better Walmarts and I've been to worse, this one is okay if you're looking for simple items!
